Characters: Homura Akemi & You
Setting: Floor Twenty-Five
Format: Whatever you're most comfortable with!
Summary: now-24 year old Homura Akemi thinks that 10 years have passed in the tower. To ease the pain she has set up a picnic for her friends and invited everyone to come... at least, she thinks she did.
Warnings: Cuteness oh no. Feel free to threadjack/mingle!
Floor Twenty-Five | Tea Party
It had taken a bit of work to organize the party, but Homura was used to that by now. Ten years of watching Mami skillfully prepare their tea and desserts had given Homura plenty of time to learn the ropes. Though she did occasionally set up with Mami, it was very rare that she started a party. So today was certainly a treat.
Blankets had been laid out on the springtime grass, collected over the years or simply stripped from Homura's bed. She had prepared a few plates of cookies, cupcakes, and a sponge cake, along with the standard tea that was expected at tea parties. Though Homura was a bit more friendly now, assured and soothed by Madokami's confidence in a bright future, she was still not the type to enjoy parties for herself. But this party wasn't for Homura; it was for Mami Tomoe. Ten years was a long time to be stuck in this dreadful place. The megucas had certainly gone through tough times ( at least, Homura thought she had gone through 10 years of horror ) and it was necessary to heal their spirits as well as their bodies.
Homura stepped back from her set preparations, then turned her gaze upward towards what must be a fake sky. Ten years since she could say she'd seen "real" sunshine... She shook her head, turning to face the staircase as she eagerly waited for the others to arrive. To make sure this was perfect, Homura had gone as far as announcing the party over the network... but unfortunately, she only thought that. This could end up a very lonely tea party.
( ooc; that is to say, Homura supposedly announced the party earlier in her AU. Before the tower's event actually started... Being meguca is suffering. )
Floor One | Preparations
Before and during the party itself, Homura could be found in the kitchen. Before it was for obvious reasons; using what ingredients she could find to prepare desserts and teas. But during the party itself, Homura was baking extra batches or preparing new tea brews when supplies ran short upstairs. She's quite busy, but skillful and open to a bit of help.

Floor 1, before the actual party if that's ok! ;; v ;;
Not entirely, of course. Usually, it was Mami who arranged the tea parties in the meadow, but those parties were usually for Puella Magi only. Today this whole thing was Homura's doing and she was making it public to everyone. She couldn't help but smile a bit as she saw Homura working hard as usual. Grabbing an apron, Mami tied it around herself and stepped forward. ]
It looks like you could use some help, Akemi-chan. [ She dropped the -san a few months ago, during their ten years of being here. ]
always okay!
[ It was as close to '-chan' as Homura could bring herself right now. Even if they had become much closer over the past ten years, it was hard not to respect Mami. If anything, Homura's admiration had increased after a period of it falling to new lows. Mami's strength was showing again, and Homura appreciated how contagious it could be. ]
Thank you very much, but you don't need to. This is... [ Meant to be a surprise, fsgvsdgds ] ... I wanted you to relax and enjoy this time.

[ She frowned. This was a lot of work and Mami would feel bad if she just walked away. The frown was replaced with a smile. ]
Don't be silly. You've been working hard, and you deserve some help. So please, allow me to lend you a hand.
