Player Plot: KOS-MOS rampage.

Characters: KOS-MOS ([personal profile] kosmic_angel) and everyone she’s going to kill.
Setting: All over the tower, your choices. Today only!
Format: prose to start but I’ll switch
Summary: Shion and Allen tried to build KOS-MOS a maintenance bed and it has some… unexpected difficulties. Like KOS-MOS going Archetype mode and killing everyone in sight. RUN!
Warnings: There’s going to be a lot of dying and it’s going to get gory.

When KOS-MOS had laid down in the makeshift maintenance bed that had been built for her, she hadn‘t expected anything to happen but for her power cells to be recharged like they normally would be. That, unfortunately, was not the case.

Upon waking, her systems had been… altered. Currently, all life signs were marked as hostile and her recognition software had been shutdown. Profiles of each individual she had met in the tower were sealed and she could access them. Priority programming went to combat and eliminating everything marked as a threat. She climbed out of the maintenance bed and used her transfer system to summon her scythe into existence.

And then she stalked out into the halls, visor down and blocking sight of her face and eyes. KOS-MOS walks normally, acts normal really, until she finds someone who is marked as a target. Meaning anyone and everyone.

There it was, that familiar tingle of Cure magic. In a fleeting moment of slow-motion, Sephiroth mid-launch could feel a great sigh as multiple injuries sped up in their regeneration. He didn't register Hojo's words however; what happened next happened all too fast.

Lightning met his attack first, stopping him suddenly with it's voltage. All too familiar to how Hei had attacked him before, it felt like it was scorching Sephiroth's insides a while before it earthed; cracking between sword and around inside his armor.

Two heavy heartbeats later and he was falling. R-BLADE slid up out of no where and into his ribs as if he was it's natural sheath. Sephiroth could do nothing but watch with horror as (in slow-motion to him) he could feel and watch every inch of the blade making it's hole in him. Oddly he didn't feel the pain, the voltage having deadened the nerves. Or more likely he was in shock.

Masamune dropped to the floor as Sephiroth swooned with the near-fatal damage, though she'd missed his heart by a fraction - he could acutely feel it scraping with every frantic beat that was thickly now pounding in his ear. He could taste copper. Both hands quickly, though clumsily groped at the entry wound and somewhat drowsily the large black wing was flapping to try and get leverage to pull him back off of the blade. It was molting feathers heavily.

Hojo had no resistance to lightning. When it struck him, it was full on and without any mitigating effect. Not that he reacted like an ordinary human. His body mutated when struck: not like Sephiroth's, but with a burst of spikes and swells and appendages, the Jenova cells within him reacting virulently to the damage as the human cells were killed off.

When the mutation was done and the lightning strike faded, he was somehow still living, though he bore little resemblance to the man of moments ago, his lab coat in tatters and his body a writhing mass. He lurched forward, mindlessly, dying, but slowly. There was little left in him that was human.

The wing vanished out of existence in a small explosion of feathers as Sephiroth hit the floor. He could feel the vast amount of blood flooding from deep inside of him. He glanced down as far as he could through the cloudiness fuzzing the edges of his vision and verified exactly how bad that wound was. Every fiber of his being pulsed painfully as Sephiroth tried to take a breath to re-focus with - but even that was now labored.

He'd saw enough to register that the thing that had wounded him so mortally now had Masamune in it's grasp and was coming for him. The last thing Sephiroth felt was a deep, cold sting as she thrust the point of his own legendary blade into that space that she'd just missed the fist time.

Masamune would itself vanish just a few moments after his death, leaving nothing but his body in a pool of blood, feathers and stained silver hair.
