Summary: Lucifel's first day in the tower, he awakens to find out that there is something not quite right with him...
Warnings: None at the moment.

[Sleeping was something Lucifel has never done before in his life since he was created by God. So it's a great surprise for him to find himself lying in a bed and especially being somewhere that is neither Heaven nor Earth. Well, as surprised as he could be.

When he was finally able to move he feels the collar around his neck, trying with all his strength to get it off but fails. Not even a second later his eyes are staring at himself. Heaven, whoever made him wear this suit has not even the slightest sense for fashion... where are his clothes anyways? His cellphone seems to be gone as well.

The archangel then notices two letters, both were directed at him. The one that said that his home world got destroyed just got a look of disbelief from him. Sure, whatever makes the one who sent this happy. The other he found just as hard to believe. Then again, who would make such a joke?

At least one thing was true. The trunk had all of his belongings inside, his clothes, which he quickly changed back into, and even his cellphone. Said phone is shut off for a reason unknown to him and he couldn't make it work either. He would figure something out later and slides his phone into the right back-pocket of his jeans.

Lucifel lifts his left hand, he wouldn't stay here longer than necessary, then flicks his fingers to get himself home.

Nothing happens.]

You must be kidding me...

[He gives it one, two, three more tries and he is still here. Alright. Looks like he is forced to take a look around.

Honestly, he is not amused.]

It almost sounds like you need them to survive.

[Almost too sly. Tohko forced herself to not panic and just kept wearing a happy smile.

..There was no way he could have figured out that she was a book eater that quickly! Even if he was an Angel..]

Well, it's not like I'll physically die if I don't get them, but..they help me out quite a bit, and they help out the people around me.

[Nope, he hadn't figured that out yet, but he notice something about her was odd for a human.]

True... But then, why would you need to know Enoch's story? I doubt it has any importance for the time we are here.

[Not that Tohko would have been able to know that he could pick up these things.

Tohko, trying to avoid parts of the explanation that involved her being a book eater, tried her best to answer the question.]

Well, for a few reasons. For one, it's hard for me to just know a few pieces of a story. Once I e-erm, hear a few snippets, I have to hear the rest! Plus, Enoch's my friend. He seems to be dealing with a lot of baggage from the past, so I would like to help him with that.

Plus..they say writing can help you sort out your feelings, so that might help him too.

[He has been alive long enough to be able to. That and he had watched humans for a while. He hasn't been isolated from the world, like most angels were.]

Hmm... yes, I think I heard of that too.

[Oh if she knew how much Enoch has written in Heaven. Well, not his own thoughts, but it was so much, huge piles of books... and no order at all.]

[Which both helped Tohko in explaining things and hurt her as she tried to keep her secret under a hat.

Or inside the snake eating an elephant. Whichever you preferred.

At that, she smiled.]

Well, I'm not surprised that you know that saying. After all, it is pretty common..but that's why I want to know the rest of Enoch's story.

In the future it is, I'm not sure it has been heard of in the past.

[Tohko can try to get the end of the story from Lucifel, but she will have to try as hard as she can to get it. He is not easy to deal with and it's hard to get him interested in others.]

Probably not..what would be the past's equivalent then? And how are you able to jump through time?

[Tohko has one thing on her side. Pure stubbornness. She rivals killer bees in tenacity when it comes to stories and friends.]

[He has dealt with stubbornness before. Yes, with a very stubborn man.]

You would have to ask Enoch about the first. as for me being able to go wherever and whenever I please... that's something only He knows.

[And Enoch probably outclassed her in that. However, she was still pretty hardheaded.

At that, she sighed.]

Are you not familiar with the past's equivalent? Or have you forgotten it?

I don't think there was anything like that, there weren't many who could write.

[Does he want to know what kind of idea.]

They have been restricted to a certain degree.

[And he's not happy about that.]

[At that, Tohko sighed, but her smile didn't dissipate.]

That's true..Enoch did tell me that it was reserved for the priests and the elite. It's a bit of a shame, if you ask me.

[He does, as it's a good idea.]

They've been restricted..but they're not gone entirely. I think that's only extra proof that our universes aren't destroyed.

It's good this changed in the future.

[Although there were a lot of things that shouldn't have been written down. He has seen some horrible things.

That idea though...]

And how is that a proof?

That it is! Otherwise, it would be harder for people to know of the past, and wonderful stories, ideas, and concepts couldn't be shared with the world!

[While horrible things have happened in the world, Tohko would still argue that it would be better if those things were recorded, in order to stop them from happening in the future.]

Think about it. If you got your powers from God and they aren't completely gone, then it must mean that your God is still alive, and, therefore, so is your universe. The Administrators may have been able to dull your powers, but they couldn't get rid of them completely!

[No, story-wise, not history-wise. Seriously, some people had zero to no creativity.]

That's not how it works. It might have been Him who created me this way, but that doesn't mean that having them depends on his existence.

[To Tohko, history was simply the story of the world, so the two overlapped quite a bit.

At that, Tohko sighed and scratched her head.]

..I suppose you're right. I'm sorry..that was a stupid mistake on my part.

[Mentally, she kicked herself. Hadn't she promised to stop doing these sorts of things when she met Wilhelm? Honestly..]

[She couldn't know. He never told anyone about how his powers worked after all.]

It was a nice speculation of yours, if anything.

[Well, no, but to Tohko, that was still pretty foolish.]

I'm glad you think it was..but if it's not how things work, then it needs to be tossed out or rewritten. Having incorrect speculation here doesn't help much of anyone.

[If she thinks so then it's not his problem.]

You do have other cases that would proof that the people in charge are lying though?

[Obviously not. At that, she nodded.]

Of course. I did mention that before. There are two people here, men named Wilhelm. Wilhelm wouldn't be able to exist if his universe was destroyed, as he's tied into it, and Allen would die if Wilhelm was destroyed, as he's tied into Wilhelm's existence.

If you're planning on talking to Wilhelm though, be very careful. He'll tell you the truth, but he's a chessmaster. Don't accept any deals he offers you. You'll just end up a chess piece in his game.

Well..no, I didn't. For one thing, you didn't ask, and I thought you might have other questions to ask.

[The details always interested Tohko, but she didn't want to bog people down. She knew that her ramblings could get annoying sometimes.]

However, it's good to hear that you won't accept any deals he offers you. I can promise that he will come to collect them eventually.

But..if you just want to play a game of chess with him every now and then, there's nothing wrong with that.

[At least she seemed to have thought about this, compared to most.]

There is a reason why I had been sent along with Enoch on his mission.

[Tohko overthought a lot of things, for better or worse. It was why she was able to keep up with Wilhelm sometimes. At that, Tohko sighed and nodded.]

I know. And there's a reason I call Wilhelm the 'Chessmaster of the universe'. Just don't let down your guard.

[She then nodded again.]

How come you know he makes deals with people in the first place? And what does he usually want from people in return?

[That's why Lucifel is trying to find out as much as possible should he ever encounter this guy.]
