Summary: In which April tries to be a good girlfriend and tries to cheer Aleph up after what has happened over the past day or so.

[Despite April's general lack of social skills and tact, she did like to make people she cared about happy. And even April could tell that Aleph wasn't happy, so of course she felt that she needed to do something about this.

Which is why later that day, Aleph will end up being dragged to the media room by April, who is looking equal parts determined and nervous about this.] ... I also made some food too, and it's none of that cafeteria stuff.

[and she'll point at said food in a basket when they walk into the room.]

True. Though I think you were one of the first people I met who wears armor, since back home people just wore things like my coat to protect themselves.

Armor is pretty diverse in my world, but most dedicated fighters have something better than your coat.

... Maybe when I get back home, I should try making armor. At least I won't spend so much time getting patched up then.

[And then people on April's world started wearing Aleph armor- I mean.]

That's a good idea. It's more expensive but a lot sturdier.

There's a lot of supplies laying around and I've got my powers, so once I get the hang of how to do it, it should be easy enough. Hopefully.

... And it would save having to sew up clothes.

I think that would be very helpful in the tower.

Mm, it would be. I could see what materials we have here and then start writing up plans... I might ask you to crash-test anything I make, though.
