Summary: After Rei's network post, Rei's gonna gather some friends to eat popcorn with while enjoying the network chaos

1. All over the Tower

Rei can be spotted on any one of the "outdoor" floors, skipping around happily and peering around for anything that resembles corn. She's really excited for finally getting friends to enjoy something with.

2. Kitchen/Closed to Maya and Chidori

Sadly, there seemed to be no corn in the Tower...yet. But Rei has a backup plan. If there's no popcorn, then make cookies! With that thought, she bounces into the kitchen.

[In the kitchen, rummaging for chocolate chips in the cabinets because man. Fuck trying to put candy hearts in cookies that's just messed.]

[Rei greets the other girl rummaging in the cabinets.]

You're the one who said she'd popcorn with me, right?

That would be me, yes.

[She tilts her head.]

Any luck on the popcorn front?

[terreifying]

[She quickly shakes her head.]

I couldn't find any corn to pop. Not on any of the floors.

[floreatnoctem]

A shame. I suppose the cookies will have to do then.

[terreifying]

[Rei starts pulling the flour out of the pantry.]

It'll still make for a delicious fun time. Makes it easier to entice people to our side, right?

[Come to the dark side, we have cookies.]

[Chidori grabs bowls and measuring cups before heading to the fridge for eggs and milk.]

Honestly, if they're all really getting so riled over this, I'm not sure how many of them we want to lure.

[terreifying]

What about the old guy who started getting butthurt first?

[The flour and eggs are placed on the counter. Next, Rei starts looking for SUGAR.]

[Honestly, Chidori very seldom pays attention to other people's posts unless she thinks they might turn up something useful.]

[terreifying]

Oh, the old guy who posted first calling everybody stupid.

[floreatnoctem]

Oh- you mean Sir Gandalf? I'm sure he'd appreciate the baked goods, if perhaps not the intent.

[terreifying]

[She nods eagerly.]

Yeah, him. Let's invite him to take some cookies and stop being mad.

I don't see why not.

[A pause mid-search for bowls.]

...I wonder if there are any chocolate chips around...?

[terreifying]

[Rei sets the sugar shaker down on the counter as well.]

Can't we just use the candies?

[floreatnoctem]

I think they taste awful.

[Weird and chalky and uuuugh.]

Besides, I don't really trust those candies. We can make two batches, if you want. One with, one without.

[terreifying]

Hm...yeah! We can do that!

[Because Rei has no problem with Ruana's candy.]

Let's ask the third person what she wants!

[It's not so much that it's Ruana's as that it tastes... kind of awful to her. Chidori's a bit picky about her sweets though.]

Who might that be?

[terreifying]

She's a girl our age. She has black hair and bangs like yours and she was wearing some traditional jewelry.

[floreatnoctem]

...I haven't spoken to her, but I think I know who you mean.

[Hard to miss someone dressed like that, after all.]

I suppose we can start mixing in the meantime.

[terreifying]

What's her name?

[Rei had never asked her that.]

Mixing sounds good.

[She turns to the ingredients.]

Hm...do we put the eggs in first?

Don't know.

[Chidori doesn't know everyone.]

Flour first, not eggs.

[terreifying]

[Rei picks up a measuring cup and starts scooping up the flour.]

Are we gonna make only one batch? Or two? Maybe two since we're gonna be be giving them away?

Two works. I don't think more than that is a wise idea. They might not like it.

[And by 'they' she of course means the tower management.]

[terreifying]

[She laughs and shakes her head.]

Who doesn't like more cookies? I think even Ruana likes sweets, right?

Yes, but that doesn't mean they'll like us having anything they don't give us. Some of them are a little strange like that.
