1. All over the Tower

Rei can be spotted on any one of the "outdoor" floors, skipping around happily and peering around for anything that resembles corn. She's really excited for finally getting friends to enjoy something with.

2. Kitchen/Closed to Maya and Chidori

Sadly, there seemed to be no corn in the Tower...yet. But Rei has a backup plan. If there's no popcorn, then make cookies! With that thought, she bounces into the kitchen.

[ Guess who else is in the kitchen? Wilhelm was just now tossing out his glass, and getting a fresh one. Him? Do dishes? Yeah right. That's Allen's job.

He pours himself a new glass of wine, and was about to teleport away back to his makeshift office in the library when he saw Rei.

He rather enjoyed their last conversation, after all. ]

[terreifying]

Heeee~ey!

[Rei waves at him.]

You're that guy from the network!

[He doesn't look any younger than he was back then, though.]

[oforder]

[ No, he isn't. But he's physically ageless; he's probably always looked like this, though he might have had a different hairstyle at some point before. ]

That is correct. [ He takes a moment to look her over. ]

[terreifying]

[She nods.]

I guess we should re-intro since we weren't really ourselves them. I'm Rei and I'm also Tohko's friend!

[oforder]

Wilhelm.

[ He tilts his head to the side. ] Tohko shows very little hesitance to socialize with others. It does not surprise me that you know her.

[terreifying]

Glad to meet you, Wilhelm.

[A pause.]

So how did that discussion about time go?

[oforder]

As you would expect. Its true purpose is still a work-in-progress, but I have long since learned patience.

[ He tilts his head to the side, curiously. ]

Might I ask what it is you want, here?

[terreifying]

Oh, I'm just gonna try making some popcorn or cookies so I can laugh at the stuff on the network. Have you seen the network yet?

[oforder]

The collective subconscious has been behaving strangely today. [ In other words, no. ] But if the inhabitants of the Tower are behaving erratically, that might explain why.

[terreifying]

The collective subconscious is suffering severely from butthurt and thus raging on the network.

[oforder]

[ Um... what? ]

I do not understand that terminology. [ But... okay. ] They are behaving strangely, however. I will grant you this.

[terreifying]

Well, you see, when people get angry over stupid things, it's called buttpain because you're acting like you've been hurt in a stupid spot. So apparently the collective subconscious just wanted to be stupidly angry today. I guess the old guy who started it is the angriest, though.

[oforder]

... I see. [ Even someone as deadpan as Wilhelm finds that terminology just ever-so-slightly amusing. Of course, he doesn't, and can't, show it. ] Is this why you are getting popcorn?

[terreifying]

Yep. It's a time honored tradition in my world to eat popcorn while being amused at the stupid angry people.

[oforder]

Along with killing 'angels?'

[terreifying]

Yeah. Even though Angel-killing is more of a NERV thing. This is something anyone can do.

[oforder]

[terreifying]

[oforder]

[ He nods. But then... he had an idea. ]

Were you looking for others to watch the network with you?

[terreifying]

Yep! I already invited two people.

[terreifying]

[She taps her chin, thinking.]

[terreifying]

Well, if you came along and they didn't want it, then popcorning wouldn't be much fun anymore, right?
