Setting: Outside room 02-07.
Format: Starting with prose, but I'll match you.
Summary: Yotsuba has just woken up, and she's looking for her Daddy and dealing with the Tower.
Warnings: She might end up crying if you're a bit too rough with her. Or you might scare her with birds and bird-like objects.

Yotsuba blinked her eyes open as she started to wake up and sat up. This place wasn't her room..and Daddy wasn't in bed beside her. And this white ou-..outfit weren't her pajamas. Ignoring the notes that lay on her trunk, Yotsuba ran out of bed and, slamming the door open, ran out into the halls.

"Daddy!? Daddy?!! Where are you?"

Aradia gripped Yotsuba's hand tightly, she really hoped the girl's father was here but the chances were pretty slim. From what she had seen a lot of people had only come here from their own universe alone or in small groups. Sometimes not even recognizing each other.

"Is there anyone else you want to look for, while we search for your Daddy? Do you have any other family members who could be here?"

Yotsuba, in return, tightly held Arada's hand. Not at tightly as the other woman, but she wasn't letting go anytime soon.

"..Yotsuba doesn't have any other family!"

Well that seems reasonable. All the humans she knows have small families, and it doesn't seem the kind of subject to ask about.

"And no one else? Any friends?"

Not that Yotsuba would know how to answer her if she did ask about it.

"Jumbo is Yotsuba's friend! And Fuka and Ene..and Asagi!"

"We should keep an eye out for them as well!"

Or, Yotsuba should. Aradia obviously has no idea what they look like.

At that, Yotsuba nodded, still smiling.

"Yotsuba will!"

And she then went back to searching for her father.

"Daddy?! Where are you?!~"

At least she sounded chipper..

But for how long? They wander around a bit, running into a lot of people looking confused, but no one matching Yotsuba's description of her daddy. And seeing as she isn't reacting to anyone else, probably none of her friends either.

Aradia really hates that she has to break this to her.

"I don't think your Daddy is here."

Well, that stops Yotsuba in her tracks. She had been expecting to find Daddy..but she couldn't quite understand why he wasn't showing up. Or why he wouldn't be here. She looked..more than a little confused and distressed.

"But..why not? I went to bed with Daddy.."

She leans down to be on eye-level with Yotsuba, trying her best to look cheerful for the young girl.

"Maybe he'll come a bit later! Some of my friends aren't here yet either."

Sadly, Yotsuba did not look as cheerful. She wasn't crying or anything, but she was sad and..puzzled.

"Maybe...but why isn't he here? Yotsuba was sleeping right next to him!"

Well, at least that's something.

"Not everyone gets here at the same time."

[sunflowerfairy]

Yotsuba nodded, thinking.

"..I guess the bad people didn't kidnap him, because they knew that Yotsuba would fight back. But..I'm sure Daddy will come after Yotsuba soon!"

..Just wait until she learns the horrible truth.

She smiles a little.

"That must be it. You protected your Daddy from the bad people very well."

Yotsuba returned the smile.

"So Daddy should be coming here soon then! Yotsuba can wait!"

She really doesn't want to give Yotsuba false hope, but she also doesn't want to scare the little girl.

"Or it might take a while longer. Your Daddy is way stronger than the bad people, right? They won't take him easily."

[sunflowerfairy]

Yotsuba gave 'Arada' a puzzled look as she spoke.

"Of course they won't take him! Daddy's strong, so he'll find this place! He won't get kidnapped!"

"That still might take a while, I don't think we are close to your home."

Not even in the same universe to be exact.

"That's alright! Even if it's far away, Daddy will be able to get here!"

..Such was the optimism of small children.

"Will you be alright on your own until he gets here? I mean..."

Way to be nice, Aradia.

[sunflowerfairy]

Yotsuba nodded, smiling.

"Yotsuba will be fine! As long as she doesn't run into any bad people."

She nods in approval, Yotsuba is quite brave.

"And if the bad people hurt you I will help you defeat them, okay?"

She was, even though she didn't know what the word meant yet.

"Okay! Yotsuba is strong, but help is always good!"

Yotsuba might just make it on her own in this tower.

"I'm glad to hear that."

[sunflowerfairy]

Provided she managed to avoid the monsters and any of the unsavory residents.

Yotsuba opened her mouth to reply..but before she could do so, her stomach growled.

"..I'm hungry."

Now that she thinks about it, they have been walking around for a long time.

"Have you eaten since you woke up?"
