Characters: Riku (

earthshards) and everyone else who's blowing off steam that night
Setting: all across the tower, night time after the Q&A
Format: Go for whatever you want! /o/
Summary: After that little 'Q&A', Riku needs to blow off some steam. He's unlikely to be the only one.
Warnings: Violence, fighting, monsters all across the board!!!

[Well... for all that this meeting earlier in the day had been informative(-ish), thanks to certain situations with certain administrators, Riku really feels like punching something at the end of it, frustration and anger making his finger twitch restlessly.

It's really only good that he's long stopped acting on that kind of feelings, has learned to channel them into Darkness, into power, instead. It's really a good thing that the Tower provides them with outlets. And that Riku doesn't have a shift to work tonight.

Highwind is fluttering just over his shoulder, chirping softly as he walks down the stairs, hand tight around his Keyblade.

It's time to take out some monsters.]

[Nesir glanced back at her for a moment, it was still strange to Nesir to be around magic users who were not from her world. The glowing eyes were new, the lightning hands not so much.

She looked back into the darkness, seeing two orange eyes staring back]

There. I do no be knowing what it do be being. [So she got closer, throwing dagger in one hand, fighting dagger in the other.]

[April moved closer alongside her, watching the two orange eyes warily.]

Not sure either, the smoke is not hel- [And she's cut off when a snake shoots out from the darkness to try to bite her, which she luckily avoids with a quick side-step.]

... I think it's that mass of snakes one.

[As April steps out the way Nesir darts forwards to get between her and the snake, slashing out with her daggers.]

I do no be seeing one of these before. [She struck out again as another snake darted towards them.]

It's a giant mass of snakes, basically. Only way to kill it is by destroying the pieces of the stone on it's back.

[Electricity flares out from around April to zap at one of the snakes.] One of us needs to go to it's back while the other distracts it and stops it from turning around.

[At least this woman knew what it was and how to kill it. That was a good start. Nesir kept her eyes on the snakes and nodded.] Can you be directing your power that small? To the eyes or will it be working best as a distraction?

[It really was strange not knowing that a magic user was capable of.]

I can make my power as big or small as I want. But I'll be the distraction.

[Electricity sparks around her again, intending to draw the snakes to her.]

Okay. [Leaving a magic user to be the prime target of a mass of snakes wasn't the best situation but Nesir knew it just meant she had to be fast. Destroy the gems as quick as she could, before they could hurt the other woman.

She began to sneak round the back, walking completely silently even as she drew a throwing dagger.]

[April manages to be a good distraction, making sure to use her electricity to keep all the snakes focus on her, as well as using her powers to block any strikes from the snakes.

She quickly glances at the younger girl as she starts to sneak around, before firing some electricity at the mass, leading to the snakes to try to attack her. Though she blocks them.]

[The snakes seemed pretty distracted, Nesir took in her task. Three throwing daggers, two fighting daggers, and a mass of snakes with jewels to be destroyed.

She went into the emptiness. She could hit targets accurately without it- but moving targets as small as this, the conditions changing every moment.

She was still and steady, her eyes completely clear. She took a breath, brought a dagger to her ear and threw, hopefully the gem would crack.]

[April grins when the sound of a gem cracking filled the air.] Aha, good shot!

[Of course, the mass of snakes writhes in agony before trying to turn around, though a large blast of electricity stops them.]

[Nesir grinned even if it seemed empty coming from the emptiness. Then she threw two more daggers at the snakes.

The next would be dangerous, she had ran out of throwing daggers, she would need to get closer, and hopefully retrieve her daggers.]

[There's more sounds of gems cracking, but April manages to keep the snakes attention on her. She takes a few steps back, intending the draw the mass closer to her so that Nesir can collect her daggers a bit more safely.]

[She slashes out at another snake with a dagger, missing the gem but taking off the head. The snake still writhed, still alive, until Nesir stomped down on the gem, crushing it. She grabbed two of her throwing daggers, now that the snakes had moved closer to the older woman and threw them again.]

[April gives a triumphant laugh as the sound of gems cracking again fills the air.] You're really good at this. There should only be a few more left!

[And with how much she was riling up and attacking the snakes, it seemed unlikely that their attention would move away from her.]

[Pride from the praise didn't quite reach Nesir in the emptiness, but waited with the rest of her emotions for whens he let down her guard.] There do be... four.

[And she darts in again, taking off two more snake heads, crushing the gems below her feet, snatching up her daggers and retreating to a safe distance, crack. One gem down, she threw for the last but the snake had made a lunge. The dagger skidded to the side harmlessly.

Last dagger. She brought it to her ear, moved slightly and threw.]

[And cue the sound of the last gem cracking, the mass of snakes writhing in agony for a few moments before it collapses to the ground. April blinks over at it for a moment, before laughing in victory.]

Aha, you did it! That was amazing!

[As the snakes died Nesir let go of the emptiness, the triumph rushing to her along with pain and tiredness. She grinned at Apil] I could no have done it without you.

[April blinks, before giving her a grin back.] Ehe, thanks! I guess we make a pretty good team, um...

[Pause. And then April looks sheepish.] Ah, sorry, I should've introduced myself. I'm April.

We do! [And she realised she'd missed it, fighting and training alone was one thing, but she missed Lotte a lot, and even if she had less than flattering things to say about the rest of the Acolyte Priests and Priestesses, she had gotten used to being part of a team.]

It do be nice to meet you April, I do be Nesir Aeser.

It's nice to meet you too, Nesir! [Her grin brightens, and she takes a look around the room.] So, wanna go track down more monsters to fight?

[Nesir grins back, and then nodded. April didn't seem totally stupid, and it would be good to have some company.] I would be honoured to.

Awesome! Then let's go. [Still grinning, April heads towards the staircase, since this floor has gone quiet.]

[Nesir grinned and followed to the staircase, going up again. The next floor was the hotel and so Nesir continued upwards to the lagoon, before glancing at April, Mermaid's seemed to be the only monsters on this floor.]

Mmm... [April tilts her head at the lagoon, before nodding her head upwards.] Let's keep going up. I would be able to fry the mermaids in the water way too easily, so it wouldn't be much of a fight.

[Nesir smirked and nodded, no point in a fight that would be won too easily.

The next floor was the open floor, and so Nesir hurried past it, into the pyramid.]

Well this do be more like it.
