Summary: After that little 'Q&A', Riku needs to blow off some steam. He's unlikely to be the only one.
Warnings: Violence, fighting, monsters all across the board!!!

[Well... for all that this meeting earlier in the day had been informative(-ish), thanks to certain situations with certain administrators, Riku really feels like punching something at the end of it, frustration and anger making his finger twitch restlessly.

It's really only good that he's long stopped acting on that kind of feelings, has learned to channel them into Darkness, into power, instead. It's really a good thing that the Tower provides them with outlets. And that Riku doesn't have a shift to work tonight.

Highwind is fluttering just over his shoulder, chirping softly as he walks down the stairs, hand tight around his Keyblade.

It's time to take out some monsters.]

Yeah. We'd better hurry. [April gets cut free a little more. And somehow Aleph doesn't lose his way as he leads her through. Visor. I'm totally blaming auto-map.]

[Huzzah for auto-maps April makes sure to stick close to him, though she pauses when she hears something moving around in the hedges.] ... Um. Did you hear that or am I just being paranoid?

I... heard that. What should we do?

[technologic]

... Keep moving. I'll stick to the back in case anything does try to attack us. We shouldn't be far from the exit, right?

[alephbet]

No, probably not. [Still, he's more on guard than he was before, waiting for something to jump out at him.]

[And just in case, April decides to have some electricity flicker around her, so that she's prepared in case anything jumps out.

Except her powers aren't working. Oops.] ... Aleph, got a problem. Powers are down.

[Oh. That's bad. Pulling his demons out of the COMP isn't technically a power, so he takes the ones that will fit in the maze out- they can't use their magic but they'll be able to fight physically.] Stay close.

[technologic]

[April regrets ever even thinking that this was too easy, and she's pretty much clinging onto her machete.] I can do that.

[Though the hand reaching out from the hedge wasn't there before, so when April glances back at the hedge, she responds in the appropriate manner of jumping away with a loud squeak.] D-dammit!

[That hand is getting severed from the wrist. Sorry hand, Aleph doesn't need powers to deal with things like limbs.]

[technologic]

[And the rest of the arm just kinda... stays there. April, meanwhile, will just quickly move away from her hiding place behind Aleph.] S-s-s-sorry.

It's all right. Let's hurry to the exit.

[technologic]

O-okay, I'll be right behind you. [Not gonna stick around to see the rest of what that arm is attached to nope.]

[Yeah, probably a good idea. Aleph makes a very quick exit.]

[And April is right behind him. He may notice that she's managed to cling onto his arm while they exited, but she quickly let's go.]

Um, um... [Cue a faint flicker of electricity from her.] Yep, they're back!

Good. I hate those kinds of floors.

[technologic]

I-I think it was less the floor and what was on it. Don't forget if there's something like a moving statue on that floor, powers won't work.

So the hands? Good to know.

[technologic]

Y-yeah... Sorry, I, uh, wasn't much help back there...

It's all right. Sometimes you rely on me and sometimes I rely on you. There's no sense in complaining or being sorry.

Yeah, t-that's true... [She relaxes and smiles softly, before looking over the room from the staircase. Said room is empty.] ... I bet if we step off the staircase, we'll get jumped.

Probably. Let's not try this floor.

[technologic]

Right... [And up they go. And then the staircase stops on the next floor.] Oh... I, uh, think this is the floor where we have to climb the staircase outside.

Yeah, I've been past this one before. Let's go.
