    ►►► VARIOUS;
[ When Rin wakes up the morning of the first, she's left a gift as per her request. Surprised as she is to see it, she wastes no time in getting the film inside of the camera and visiting various floors. Rin starts at the top of the tower in her search to take pictures for her uncle, taking caution to travel to floors that he might not be able to due to his condition. The more dangerous the floor? The more likely one is to find Rin there. She shows no fear as she moves through with relative ease and should she happen upon a monster? Well, it's rare these days that a monster can stand up to her and should she meet her match, it takes seconds for her to be free of the danger due to the silent guardian that can be called to her side near instantaneously. Not that she's going to bother him when she's having such a great day admittedly. ]

    ►►► DORMITORIES;
[ Sometime in the evening, after she's spoken with Saber to find out what this place truly is and what she is herself, Rin can be found lurking in the hallway as though she's waiting for monsters to come for her. Not that they crawled among the dormitory corridors often, but if they were to come looking for her... well, she might greet them happily. ]

If it isn't mine, then why did they stay within me? [ She mutters out loud to herself bitterly. ] Why is it still there too?

I said I would take care of you, Rin.

[ His voice is suddenly quite soft. ]

I won't break a promise like that.

[ He has to swallow bitterness to say it. Of course he'll break the promise. He breaks every promise he takes on, doesn't he? Even the one he made to the world, which he thought he'd never be released from. ]

[angramaintsu]

People who make those types of promises end up dead, Archer.

[ Flaring her nostrils indignantly. ] So if the time comes, you better break it instead. I won't have you dead and me without a stupid Servant again.

[swordedpast]

Didn't I just tell you? I've died more than once already. In a place like this, I'll die again sooner or later.

[ The bitterness is creeping out into his voice even though he tries to stop it. ]

Something like that isn't enough to stop me from keeping a promise.

[ No, only his own failure of a heart can break his promises. ]

[angramaintsu]

I mean dead dead. As in you'll have a stupid tombstone with a generic title slapped across it and I have to pretend that it's your special one.

[ Huffing up. ] And not the tombstone of someone else!

[swordedpast]

[ Surprise colors his eyes. ]

Hmph, it would matter to you enough to pretend?

[angramaintsu]

Well yes it matters! It annoys me that when I walk into the graveyard and see Lancer's that it could just very well mean the other stupid Lancers here!

[ It has been a while since she's visited the graveyard though. Maybe she's learning to heal with Archer at her side? ]

[swordedpast]

[ In a sense, there is a tombstone with his name on it in the graveyard.

But he's not telling her that. ]

My real name is forgettable and unimportant. I'll have them put "the Archer who belonged to Rin" on it instead.

[angramaintsu]

[ Not that she knows about that tombstone. The moment she finds out, she might go berserk. ]

What is your real name? [ He made the mistake of bringing it up so he only has himself to blame. ]

[swordedpast]

[ Fortunately, he has the old lie prepared. ]

I told you it was forgettable, didn't I? Well, I've forgotten it. Your other self, the one with the Tohsaka name--she messed up my summoning, like I told you. My memory still hasn't recovered. So if you want to find out who I really am, you'll have to get it from someone other than me.

[angramaintsu]

Then I'll do just that.

[ Congratulations Archer, you've given Rin a new goal to focus on in the tower. ]

[swordedpast]

[ Oops. ]

You won't have any luck, since I doubt anyone else here knows either. You should just give up.

[ He has a feeling he's not helping. ]

[angramaintsu]

Oh Archer.

[ A light laugh. ] You've asked me something I can't do. Giving up, no, that's impossible of me.

[swordedpast]

[ When she says that, he should be grumpy. He should complain and tell her that she has no business trying to find this out. But instead--

Instead, he finds himself smiling. ]

D-Don't look at me that way!

[ Now she's all embarrassed. ] And knew what?

...I knew you weren't the kind of person who gives up once she's set her mind to something.

And? Now you're stuck with me being like this, so what do you have to say to that?

It's a pain, but that's just my luck. So I'll accept it.

[ And he'll accept her. ]
