Summary: Ahri's found her way out of soloqueue and into Animus! She's taking it pretty well.

(CAFETERIA)

[Ahri's not exactly what one would call a 'picky eater', so the fact that she's gotta down some bland oatmeal before eating anything else isn't at all a problem for her! In fact, she's almost gotten through all of it by this point and even has a plate of those silly Renekton shaped Chicken Nuggets that look and smell so divine~ She's rather content to watch others from the spot of her rather spacious table while she eats, though her curiously carefree smile (and possibly those ears and tails she neglects to hide) is sure to invite company.]



(FLOOR 25)

[Upon arriving Ahri had wasted no time in filling her belly, meeting a few interesting people and promptly venturing up the tower in search for things to do next, though the peaceful meadow on this particular floor just begged to be slept in. While the bed she woke up in was indeed comfortable, it didn't much suit her tastes, and the sterility of the decor was almost enough to drive her mad with boredom - finding such a peaceful place indoors was a bit of a surprise and definitely a treat, so with the familiar scent of grass filling her nostrils, she curled up amidst a pile of fluffy tails to relax]



(ROOM 1-11)

[Anyone currently milling about in this room would no doubt be surprised to see Ahri rousing from her slumber - not at all there a moment ago, yet now she's stretching luxuriously in bed, tails obscuring her form akin to a blanket as she rolls over in bed. She gives the new, most certainly unwelcome piece of jewelry around her neck a tug]

That's an understatement. This place is both a blessing, but more than anything a curse. At least mostly to the weak.... It's provided me with great means to increase my power exponentially, far from the limiting rabbles of those idiotic summoners. Here I have no limits and I like it that way.

As far as the Maven, if she shows up once again, it'd be good to keep her close... As well as you if you're still as competent as I remember.

[Just! Stop poking him woman! He fusses again, flailing a little and pointing the Black Torch at her.]

Fox! Woman! Foxy woman! Stop that! Hmph!

[He straightens his robe and looks back at her.]

Yes, wait. That's about all we can do. Competency is lacking greatly in this place. Good allies are hard to come by.

Sorry Pip, I'm just delighted to see you again, that's all! You could've been some terrible illusion for all I know~

[She'll let that comment regarding competency slide. It's not even something she needs to address, honestly.]

If anything I'm rather excited to see just what this Tower has in store for its inhabitants, myself included. The Summoner's Rift had begun to lose its charm to be quite honest. I can see you're delighted for this breath of fresh air as well - proverbially speaking, of course.

I have to say, it's a relief to see you here. It means that whatever time you were 'rescued' from, at least you survived and are here now.

[That's as best of a 'nice to see you' you'll get from Veigar.]

I am, yes. I was beginning to fume at the thought that the blasted Summoners would dare to cut my power in the Fields of Justice in the sense of "fairness". Pah! Nonsense!

Anyway, even you must know that the League wouldn't be anything even remotely resembling 'fair' - or interesting, for that matter - if we all came armed with the full extent of our powers. It's all about the game to those stuffy old Summoners, that's all.

[She grows silent a moment. Contemplative. A look Veigar may have been familiar with - an almost hungry, predatory fixation on some thought, though its hard to say just what she has planned]

Dangerous or not, I'm actually beginning to grow quite fond of this place... It's nothing at all like our home.

Somehow, I'm not surprised you'd enjoy this place and yes, I agree as you said, this place does have much to offer in ways that Runeterra didn't.

There's an unlimited source of minions to destroy in this place, some seemingly 'dangerous' to the weak in this Tower. Of course, this doesn't apply to me, or I daresay you ask well my dear Ahri.

[Because just as he was the most powerful spellcaster in existence, people that where from the same world as his were obviously very useful and powerful. Except Lulu! That witch is crazy and more touchy than Ahri!]

[Her hunger... "Killing" in the League of Legends was satisfying for a time - she could expand her powers through combat via lifedrain, quenching her thirst albeit in an obviously artificial manner.

For now she was content with the prospect of gaining more of her humanity through social interaction - like normal people did. The lust for power was still there, and in a place such as this, filled with such a potent, disturbingly wicked aura, she could also drain to her heart's content without that pesky conscious bothering her. Many of the people here weren't innocent to begin with, she could smell it - And those who aren't innocent are usually punished, are they not?

For Ahri, this hellhole is a genuine paradise. While her ability to steal souls may have been taken, she's still free to drain the energy from others should she feel the desire to do so. At the same time, those who are truly innocent are plentiful and varied, full of stories and information that she's also free to absorb. In a place such as this, she could attain power unrivaled as little Veigar here claims to have already done.

As such, her interests didn't quite lay in the monsters roaming the tower, but the people. She wouldn't relay that much to Veigar. It wasn't something she would tell to anyone - the fact that she views this place as a smorgasbord.]

Dear, you've been enjoying the intricacies of this place for quite some time haven't you, Veigar? You've grown oh so strong~

[She coils her fingers around a lock of hair, head cocked to the side, her words dipped in that particular brand of sarcasm the little terror-mage might've been used to by now. It's hard to tell if she's seriously impressed or just stroking his megasized ego.]

I've no doubts of the wonders this place will work for me as well, but by this point I've fell so horrendously behind - what chance do I have to ever compare?

[Stroking Veigar's ego was a surefire way to keep his murderous intent at bay. Sarcasm or not, it wasn't easy for the Tiny Master of Evil to grin proudly when his power was praised and as such, this time was not so different.]

You have no idea how much more stronger I've become. Little was a challenge for me then, nothing is a challenge for me now. Of course there's that issue of the blasted machines that nullify powers in this place, but that's a nuisance that will be taken care of soon enough.

As for how long? I've lost track of time but it's been well over a year or two give or take. Time flows... oddly here.

[Her last comment drew a dangerous aura from the Yordle, a dark, malevolent grin spread on his face and his words seemed to be laced with the vilest of poisons.]

None. But count yourself lucky in having me as an ally. I would not turn my back on a former comrade easily, at least not one that is skilled like you.

[A reaction she anticipated miles away, but she was at least lucky to have the 'Almighty Veigar' at her side. Ahri snickers before continuing in a practiced, haughty tone]

Oh, how fortunate I am indeed to be graced with such a powerful ally~ Truly it is by fate's hand that the both of us have ended up in such a situation, dearest Veigar. But what you speak - it's blasphemous! Is there truly a way to eliminate these collars that keep our greatest of powers in check?

There is, but it goes hand in hand with ridding this place of it's would-be rulers.

There's machines in place that prevent us from certain things, just like they make these walls immune to anything from inside of here. [He motions to the tower as a whole.]

[Ahri hums to herself briefly, lost in thought. She also guessed these collars responsible for the sealing of their powers, but from the little she's witnessed already, the Tower is hardly ever simple - there had to be something else. A catch.]

I trust you'll be a sweetie keep me informed of all the progress~?

[Without awaiting a proper reply, she stands, tails flowing behind as they usually do. It seems she intends to leave soon.]

Mmm, I don't doubt the prospect of ruling over such a marvelous domain excites you, my dear Lord, but do be careful - I wouldn't want any harm befalling you, little friend... And please, try not to break too much while you're at it?

[Lazily, she casts her gaze back at Veigar with a smirk]

Afterall, I just got here. At least allow me some time to admire the scenery.

Of course, wouldn't want those who are worth something to be misinformed, but I'm sure you'll notice considering how perceptive you can be.

[He twitched at the little comment and could even be heard growling subtly.]

I'm not little! And I don't intend to destroy the tower, not anymore anyways. No, that wouldn't sit well with the allies and I am much more interested in replacing the would be rulers.

[He waved her off before his eyes narrowed, glowing with a powerful aura.]

Yes yes, you should get acquainted with the Tower and it's denizens. It'll prove useful when things start occurring and you're looking for ways to survive.

[The further mention of these allies interested her, but it was a line of question she'd save for another time. For now she'd like to explore the tower in thorough detail. It'd come in handy for later.]
