Summary: Ahri's found her way out of soloqueue and into Animus! She's taking it pretty well.
Warnings: Some flirting is to be expected, as well as Ahri generally being curious about each and every thing. +18 for one thread in particular.

(CAFETERIA)

[Ahri's not exactly what one would call a 'picky eater', so the fact that she's gotta down some bland oatmeal before eating anything else isn't at all a problem for her! In fact, she's almost gotten through all of it by this point and even has a plate of those silly Renekton shaped Chicken Nuggets that look and smell so divine~ She's rather content to watch others from the spot of her rather spacious table while she eats, though her curiously carefree smile ~~(and possibly those ears and tails she neglects to hide)~~ is sure to invite company.]

(FLOOR 25)

[Upon arriving Ahri had wasted no time in filling her belly, meeting a few interesting people and promptly venturing up the tower in search for things to do next, though the peaceful meadow on this particular floor just begged to be slept in. While the bed she woke up in was indeed comfortable, it didn't much suit her tastes, and the sterility of the decor was almost enough to drive her mad with boredom - finding such a peaceful place indoors was a bit of a surprise and definitely a treat, so with the familiar scent of grass filling her nostrils, she curled up amidst a pile of fluffy tails to relax]

(ROOM 1-11)

[Anyone currently milling about in this room would no doubt be surprised to see Ahri rousing from her slumber - not at all there a moment ago, yet now she's stretching luxuriously in bed, tails obscuring her form akin to a blanket as she rolls over in bed. She gives the new, most certainly unwelcome piece of jewelry around her neck a tug]

That's...that's well said. And very true...I mean, I wouldn't know half the stuff I know now due to me going to another world and meeting the people there.

And yeah...The Tower is quite the mystery, isn't it?

[Oh, she's asking him about himself. He gives a sort of shrug, glancing away awkwardly.]

Oh, um...Sam. [A slight huff.] What's to say? Uh...I mean, I'm no one special. Really, I'm not...

Come now. You're from another world, an entirely different realm from my own! Surely you can't be as drab as you say, Sam.

[There's a particular fascination in her eyes, far beyond simple curiosity. It'll be hard to get her off your case at this rate]

And stop acting so shy! You look as if you're about to shiver out of your skin. I'm harmless~

Yeah, but...my world is pretty normal as they go. I mean, we don't have magic, or monsters, or anything...it just has some technology like the internet and cars and computers and that's it.

[A little nervous laugh.]

Oh, I'm really sorry...I'm just not that used to talking to people, you know? You seem really nice, I'm sorry if I'm just really bad to talk to, I understand if you feel that way.

Relax, it's fine.

[Not like she wasn't used to stammering men]

In fact, I'm rather enjoying our little chit-chat.

[Something Sam says confuses her though and she tilts her head]

The "Internet"?

[A bashful look at that, before he moves onto the question.]

Oh, well...the internet is this big network thing. People can connect to it through computers and connect with other people all over the world. There are also things called 'websites", which people make...and they can be anything from information centers to hubs for people with common interests to talk with one another.

I-I sorry, I'm not that good at explaining.

[She doesn't seem at all confused by the explanation. Actually, she picks up pretty quick]

I see, so it's a method of sharing information in real time then? Fascinating what technology can accomplish - in a way it almost reminds me of the arcane.

Yeah, something like that!

[An agreeable nod.]

Yeah, it kind of is amazing when you think about it, though it's kind of a common thing where I come from. But what arcane are you talking about?

[Ahri laces her fingers together, leaning forward over her knees]

Magicks in general are quite commonplace in my world. As such, technological advances such as those you'd find in your own aren't quite the same, or existent to begin with.

[A slight shrug.]

Yeah, see, that seems to be the case with most people I meet from other worlds. They have all sorts of magic wonderful stuff, while my world just has the tech stuff.

What sort of magic? Like conjuring stuff, bunnies out of hats...what?

A little of everything to be honest with you.

[It's her turn to shrug. The 'wonders' of Runeterra had long since exhausted themselves in her eyes]

There's no simple way I could explain the magic at work there, only that it's varied as well as powerful - and utterly drab at this point.

Hmmm. But...why drab, though?

[And then he rethinks that, shaking his head.]

Oh, sorry, I think I've realized...magic to you is like the internet to me, right? Stuff that's just totally part of common life at this point.

[She nods. Exactly! Well, sort of.

She's obviously still curious regarding magicks hailing from worlds other than her own. Who knows what she could learn from discovering them - and if it increased her power in the process, well, that's all the better.]

[Why would such a staggeringly normal kid be thrust into Animus like this? There had to have been some reason, though she cannot piece together just what - still, that's enough to keep Sam at the forefront of her interests for now.

Ahri stands, brushing blades of grass from her clothing before turning to face Sam once more]

You've my thanks for the chat, cutie. It was fun, if short. I'm afraid I've got some other matters that require my attention, though I hope this won't be our only encounter?

Well, I guess I'll see about that.

[He scratches his head- yeah, he's not going to tell her about the creepy Persona he got in the previous place he was in. Maybe the next time...he stands up as well, nodding with a solid attempt at a smile.]

Oh! Oh, definitely. I mean...you're nice and all, so I definitely wouldn't argue not to see you again.

But, um...I don't think you told me your name, miss...?

It's Ahri, and it was nice to meet you, Sammy. We'll see each other again soon, so look forward to our little date.

[She offers him a wink before wandering off towards the stairs though curiously she seems to be heading further up into the tower rather than back down towards the Cafeteria.

Who knows what she's really up to?]

[He glances away, as if in bashfulness, but gives her a wave as she walks off. He watches where she's going, before letting out a huff, embarrassed look suddenly falling to reveal a slightly sinister smile.]
