THE HERO OF THE IMPERIUM

Characters: Amberley Vail, Commissar Ciaphas Cain, and YOU
Setting: All around the safe floors. The cafeteria, dorms, etc.
Format: Actionspam is cool, threads with cain and amberley will be done separately
Summary: Propaganda is good! Everyone should know that there's a hero among us who stands up for good humans and helps protect them from the tower!
Warnings: Discrimination towards aliens and anything practicing magic. The shoot first, ask questions kind of discrimination.

[ Amberley and Cain can both be found about the tower today, the almost seven foot tall man following behind the smaller woman dressed in his normal military garb with his chainsword at his side. You do get the sense that he's being dragged around by her, mostly because of his stoicism and her cheery enthusiasm make a pretty jarring contrast.

The two each have a stack of handmade flyers they're handing out, which Amberley made with a marker and some scrap paper. Not the most high tech propaganda out there, but it was better than nothing. Everyone who runs into the duo will get one of these.



At least they're trying to help, even if it's in their own horribly misguided way. ]

I've never seen much good come of magic, myself.

Every once in a while, you can get something good out of a sanctioned user but most of the time, that kind of thing is just too dangerous.

It's much too easy to be corrupted by it.

You could say that two hundred years from now and I'd agree with you.

I've had that much experience to know magic is good, actually.

Wasn't... cursed with magic or anything, I just happened to be in a place where aging doesn't happen for a while.

You're saying you've been around it enough to slow down aging? Just rely on modern science for that and run.

[wegotlucky]

[Blank stare.]

No, I'm saying there are worlds where aging doesn't happen. It doesn't happen. I didn't go to Neverland willingly.

I haven't.... where I am from, modern science is using a splint and hoping a limb heals properly.

[That sounds a lot like heresy but he can't blame the guy for where he was born.]

Well, if you couldn't tell, I'm somewhere past a century in age and this lovely lady with me with probably somewhat older.

Then that's not a problem?

It's not a problem as long as you keep yourself on guard from corruption.

I've got no interest in learning or using magic. You can count on that.
