Characters: Sakura Matou and YOU
Setting: Dorm Floors, Library, and Cafeteria though meeting her in between floors works as well.
Format: Action, while I can do prose it takes me longer
Summary: Sakura arrives, becomes confused, and then becomes even MORE confused after meeting the people she meets. And then she solves her problems with cooking. That's legit, right?
Warnings: None for the actual post but I know the thread between her and Rin is probably going to get violent. I'll add more if needed.

[Dormitory Floors]

[ After arriving and eating her god awful oatmeal, Sakura enters room 1-01 to find her things and take stock of everything that she's arrived with in her trunk. Not a lot, but it's still comforting to find that she has some things from home. After perhaps talking with a few roommates, she exits her room and wanders on the other dorm floors, mostly to try to find anyone she knows. Particularly Senpai, Nee-san, or Rider, but for some reason she has a feeling that they aren't here. ]

[Library]

[ While she's not a book worm by any means, she knows that being here without any knowledge is a bad idea. Sakura's a smart girl so she hits the books, trying to flip through and find any information about where she's stuck at.

Of course, she's not having much of any luck. ]

[Cafeteria]

[ After all of that, she decides to relax a bit by cooking a meal later in the day. Fried rice is on the menu, served over the best cuts of fish she could find in the Tower's stock with tons of veggies and other goodies stuffed into the rice. She's even cooked a sauce with a bit of spice to it to serve over it. She made enough for multiple people, and she doesn't particularly care who comes to eat, so feel free to serve yourself and join her for a meal. ]

Oh, it's just some fried rice over fish... nothing too fancy.

[ She's used to cooking way more elaborate meals back home. Fate/Stay in the Kitchen. ]

Would you like some once I'm done? While it's not my best, it's certainly better than that Oatmeal.

I would, thank you. ...Somehow I missed the meals this morning.

*He wouldn't have refused even if he'd been able to eat before. It would be rude to decline that offer.*

[ She serves him a rather hefty portion and delivers it right to him. ]

There you go! Make sure to eat the vegetables, they're good for you.

Thank you. *Enoch can't help but chuckle a little.* It sounds as if you've had most of your practice cooking for children.

*Granted, children in his time didn't have much choice in the matter since meat was very rarely served if one wasn't nobility, but there were always those that would go for the breads and fruits over anything else...some things were just timeless.

He could even tell this was Zo's menu for how few vegetables there were in the first place.*

Ah, actually... that isn't the case at all. I've never cooked for children, only people my own age.

[ She's too motherly for her own good, really. It's not her fault that eating healthy is important. ]

They sound incredibly picky about their food, then.

*Enoch can't help but start eating immediately after talking. He'd gone a little while today without eating, after all.*

I suppose that is true!

[ Picky because all of their food has to look, smell, and taste like it came out of a five star restaurant. ]

I hope it tastes alright.

*He'll answer that as soon as he's swallowed the bite he's on.*

It's very good. I've always liked fish...

*When he can actually have it. Desert life... Though he really doesn't get the frying thing, it isn't too bad when it's like this.*

I'm glad. My name is Sakura Matou and I plan on continue cooking, so whenever you're hungry, feel free to grab a bite to eat.

I will. Ah, though I wouldn't impose. It's kind of you to do this.

*Enoch decides eating a little more is worth more than introducing himself in return.*

You aren't imposing at all! I offered, so that doesn't count.

How long have you been here?

*He asks because she seems more settled than a newcomer, but her face doesn't look even vaguely familiar. It's possible enough to completely miss someone even in passing in a place so large, even with a single place to eat.*

If I must be honest, this is my first day here.

[ Sakura's seen some shit, and after that, she tends to adapt better more than other people. She's also a master of putting on a smile and keeping her personal problems to herself. ]

It is? You've taken it all very well, then...

It wouldn't do anyone much of any good for me to panic. I want to be as much of a help to everyone as I can be.

[warriorscribe]

That's a wonderful attitude to have.

*Which was something of an understatement for him. This very attitude was one of the things that fueled his boundless faith in humanity.*

Not really. I don't think I should be given praise just for wanting to help people.

[warriorscribe]

And why not? It seems like an obvious choice, but it is still a good one.

[cherrygrail]

Because I haven't done anything yet. Intent doesn't mean much.

[warriorscribe]

Because you haven't...done anything?

*Enoch was confused. Was she saying she didn't deserve praise because she might do something less than nice later?*

[cherrygrail]

Not yet. Anyone can say that they want to do good. It takes effort and a good heart to actually follow through.

[ And she's still not sure if she has that second thing. ]

That's true. But sincerity in this is the first step. If it's not praise it deserves, then it's encouragement.

[cherrygrail]

I suppose I can accept encouragement as long as you continue accepting my cooking.

[warriorscribe]

*Enoch chuckles.*

Of course. I'm not rude enough to turn down that offer in the first place.
