Characters: Sakura Matou and YOU
Setting: Dorm Floors, Library, and Cafeteria though meeting her in between floors works as well.
Format: Action, while I can do prose it takes me longer
Summary: Sakura arrives, becomes confused, and then becomes even MORE confused after meeting the people she meets. And then she solves her problems with cooking. That's legit, right?
Warnings: None for the actual post but I know the thread between her and Rin is probably going to get violent. I'll add more if needed.
[Dormitory Floors]
[ After arriving and eating her god awful oatmeal, Sakura enters room 1-01 to find her things and take stock of everything that she's arrived with in her trunk. Not a lot, but it's still comforting to find that she has some things from home. After perhaps talking with a few roommates, she exits her room and wanders on the other dorm floors, mostly to try to find anyone she knows. Particularly Senpai, Nee-san, or Rider, but for some reason she has a feeling that they aren't here. ]
[Library]
[ While she's not a book worm by any means, she knows that being here without any knowledge is a bad idea. Sakura's a smart girl so she hits the books, trying to flip through and find any information about where she's stuck at.
Of course, she's not having much of any luck. ]
[Cafeteria]
[ After all of that, she decides to relax a bit by cooking a meal later in the day. Fried rice is on the menu, served over the best cuts of fish she could find in the Tower's stock with tons of veggies and other goodies stuffed into the rice. She's even cooked a sauce with a bit of spice to it to serve over it. She made enough for multiple people, and she doesn't particularly care who comes to eat, so feel free to serve yourself and join her for a meal. ]

Library
It took several floors and a bit of backtracking - Sakura had chosen to not stay put, it seemed - before she came to the library. Blackened armor materialized about her, visor shielding her eyes, as she entered the floor she KNEW her master was on. It wasn't often that monsters lurked the stacks during the day, but she was well aware of how many other Servants and Masters were around.
And Rin. She couldn't forget Rin. She'd told Rin that she would not allow her to kill Sakura. Saber had to get to her master before Rin did.
When she came upon the girl leafing through a book, Saber noted the lack of taint upon her. Her hair was dark again, eyes no longer red... No marks of corruption upon her skin like Saber still bore. But it was her master. She could feel it.
...and she never had known the outcome of that final fight between Sakura and Rin. All she knew is that it had ended before she found herself within the Tower. Perhaps Sakura's state was a result of Rin Tohsaka being victorious.
As the dark knight came to a stop, still and stoic, behind Sakura and waited to be addressed (noticed), she felt a pang in her chest - somewhere deep inside - that even if Rin had won... they'd both lost Shirou. That foolish boy had lost his mind, giving everything he had in his attempt to defeat her. The only victory Saber was not proud of, as it was inglorious. And by default.
And neither woman would have him...]

Then again, Saber was a strong servant, strong enough to have killed her without her noticing. She was waiting. Then... did she still consider herself loyal to Sakura? Even though she had corrupted her and used her without thought? It was possible. Saber was a loyal person, even though she was corrupt, her loyalty hadn't left her.
Or maybe she was just waiting for Sakura to beg for her life. Or to say anything at all. ]
Saber. I hope you have been well.
[ An awkward thing to say, but it's the first thing she thinks of, and it isn't a lie. Regardless of what form Saber takes on, she always got along with her, and she wants her to be happy. ]

dormitories;
This is why she's taken by surprise when she steps out of her room only to see a sight she never thought possible. No, that's not true. Wasn't she told about this from her uncle at some point or was that a trick of her mind? No, Saber was the one who told her about this. It was definitely Saber, wasn't it? ]
Hey. [ It wasn't much of a greeting--it was spoken softly as though if she didn't hear it, that maybe they could go on ignoring each other. ]

She hated it. And Rin probably hated her own purple hair, if she had to guess. But even if she had reason to hate Rin, she still loved her. She just had no idea if she could be loved back. ]
Hello, Nee-san. [ And then she catches herself, gulping. ] I-It is alright if I call you that?

Cafeteria
He's so wrapped up in his own thoughts that he doesn't see her at first. It's only when he does his customary sweep of the faces in the cafeteria (anyone might show up here, at any time), that he notices.
That hair, that ribbon, those eyes... She's so much older, but can it really be--? Yes, he'd recognize her anywhere, he thinks. It has to be her. He only hopes that this isn't a repeat of Shinji and she's from a world where knows him. It would hurt too much if she wasn't. Or what if she forgot about him? She'd been so young. These thoughts and more run through his mind, but he calls out to her, regardless, as he takes a halting step toward her.]

Illya! But, you're...
[ She stops and then pauses to regain her composure. This was most likely a result of the second magic and telling the girl that she's dead wouldn't be the best way to get along with her now. ]

[On this particular day, he's surprised to find Sakura when he pokes his head in, despite already having met the not-NPC previously. It's not like he ever took the time to get to know the NPC version of her, so her penchant for cooking is something he hadn't been aware of. It smells pretty good, so he creeps closer, even if he doesn't approach her directly.]
[Seems like him peeking at her from around corners is going to be a thing.]

Behold, all in my wake. Doom has arrived.
[The innocuous young lady with the purple hair was new, however. The sense of magic, not. Another mage? They were cropping up everywhere nowadays! This one was familiar, somehow.]
[Well, always a pleasure to meet a fellow wizard!...if that's even an appropriate word for it.]
You there, mage! [He points rather provocatively at a certain young lady with purple hair.] I am Doctor Victor von Doom, and I demand to know what it is you have made there!

Fried Rice with Fish. There's extra in the kitchen.

Oh, am I in your way? I didn't know you were there.
[He just now clued in on the fact that the sounds meant someone was there! Considering how noisy the place is, you can't blame him too much.]
no subject
No! I apologize. I didn't know that you couldn't see me at first...
[ She's just making herself sound worse gj sakura ]
Ah, I'm sorry. Please, there's more than enough room for you to cook as well.

He doesn't see the cook right now. Instead of looking for whoever it is, he finds himself staring down at one of the dishes being served, his brow furrowed. Something about it seems familiar to him. He can't place it. ]

But the smell of someone cooking draws his attention. Maybe he won't be stuck waiting until dinner hours to eat something, considering he...doesn't tend to do so well with these modern cooking appliances.
"Ah...excuse me. Can I ask what you're making?"

Sakura Cooking Brings The Whole Tower To The Cafeteria /o/
(No, he may just be a little lazy. And there's precious few people here he'd feel comfortable asking to help with a meal just yet.)
So, about that habit. He'll peek into the kitchen whenever it smells like someone's cooking something new. Just a little aesthetic satisfaction, that's all -- he hasn't thought to ask for recipes yet.
This particular time, though, the back that presents itself at the counter stops him dead at the door. He'd recognize that profile and ribbon anywhere in the world and out of it; what stops his voice for more than a few moments is the sudden wash of mixed emotion, joy and unease and he'd just seen Rin again, that can't really be--]
Sakura.
[It ends up coming out quieter than it should. He's surprised to hear himself say it; he was still preoccupied with the impossibleness of the whole thing.]
It's true, everyone loves free food that they don't need to cook themselves HAH
And this one had black hair. His face was unharmed, except for one blinded eye.
Really, she'd had just enough of the second magic for one day as she could handle. Forgive her if she's not as enthusiastic as he is, she's still happy to see him, but she's still a bit wary. ]
Uncle. You must be hungry. Sit down, I'll grab you a serving.
If they don't there's something wrong with them!!!
