Characters: Sakura Matou and YOU
Setting: Dorm Floors, Library, and Cafeteria though meeting her in between floors works as well.
Format: Action, while I can do prose it takes me longer
Summary: Sakura arrives, becomes confused, and then becomes even MORE confused after meeting the people she meets. And then she solves her problems with cooking. That's legit, right?
Warnings: None for the actual post but I know the thread between her and Rin is probably going to get violent. I'll add more if needed.

[Dormitory Floors]

[ After arriving and eating her god awful oatmeal, Sakura enters room 1-01 to find her things and take stock of everything that she's arrived with in her trunk. Not a lot, but it's still comforting to find that she has some things from home. After perhaps talking with a few roommates, she exits her room and wanders on the other dorm floors, mostly to try to find anyone she knows. Particularly Senpai, Nee-san, or Rider, but for some reason she has a feeling that they aren't here. ]

[Library]

[ While she's not a book worm by any means, she knows that being here without any knowledge is a bad idea. Sakura's a smart girl so she hits the books, trying to flip through and find any information about where she's stuck at.

Of course, she's not having much of any luck. ]

[Cafeteria]

[ After all of that, she decides to relax a bit by cooking a meal later in the day. Fried rice is on the menu, served over the best cuts of fish she could find in the Tower's stock with tons of veggies and other goodies stuffed into the rice. She's even cooked a sauce with a bit of spice to it to serve over it. She made enough for multiple people, and she doesn't particularly care who comes to eat, so feel free to serve yourself and join her for a meal. ]

[ Sakura heads into the kitchen and brings back a full plate of food. Probably a bit too full, to be honest, but she figures that he needs the nutrients. ]

Here you are.

[ She sets it down in front of him. ]

[Taking a bite--and looking pleasantly impressed by the results--Waver couldn't help but sense something not entirely ordinary here. Another magus? But she didn't look like one he knew or had even seen in passing around the usual lecture halls.]

...My name's Waver, incidentally. Waver Velvet.

[Well, best to start off casual and see where things went from there.]

[ Oh, Waver Velvet. That's the person her servant mentioned. Granted, she didn't say he was harmless, but still, she's not going to be very forthcoming of personal information now that he's said that. ]

Sakura Matou. It's a pleasure to meet you.

Likewise. Sakura-...you're Tohsaka's sister, aren't you? I think Kariya mentioned that.

[ Yep, everyone confirmed for knowing all of her personal business. It's honestly off putting to her that people actually know about things that she spent a lifetime keeping a secret. But Sakura stays sweet and polite. ]

Rin is my older sister, yes.

[ She doesn't say "Rin Tohsaka" because Rin has the Matou last name here. It feels like she'd be doing her a diservice even if she's not listening in. ]

Well, it's nice to finally meet you--you're an excellent cook, by the way.

I'm a little jealous. I can't cook worth a damn myself, so it's nice of you to share some with me.

...Speaking of, is there anything I can help you with? I don't particularly enjoy the idea of getting something for nothing.

Not particularly. I don't do things just to receive payment, after all. We're all stuck here together, so we should take care of each other.

Or at least that's the way I feel about it.

That's a good way to put it, I think...but on the other hand, I happen to enjoy helping people even if they haven't done something exceedingly kind for me. So with that in mind and if it's no trouble for me to ask, how are you settling in here so far?

It's been... a tad bit confusing, I will admit. But I'm going to try to make the best of the situation.

Is there anything I can attempt to clear up for you?

[Waver took a small notebook out of his pocket, idly flipping through the pages.]

I've tried to keep track of nearly everything I've seen or heard so far.

[ She really hopes that he's not keeping track of anyone's personal information in that book. ]

I think I'll be fine! Though, isn't keeping something like that on your person a bit dangerous? What if someone got a hold of it?

[He might look like a jerk, but Waver was at least nice enough not to do that.]

All I really have of importance in here is what I've learned about the Tower itself. I keep it on me so I can accurately record what I'm told instead of relying entirely on memory. It's not as though I have anything all that incriminating written down.

[ She's only suspicious because Alter warned her about Waver. But little does she know that Saber was talking about the little one, not the big one. ]

I'm glad to hear that. Sorry if I sounded a bit critical, I just wanted to make sure. You can't ever be too safe, after all.

[Ah, well. He also can't help it if he was a stupid kid.]

No, it's fine. I'd probably be worried if people weren't suspicious or critical of most things around here.

[ True, but it's best to trust servants when they exist to protect you. ]

I think you'd be surprised at how many people really do need looking after.

... [Waver thought that over for a second--maybe assuming most people weren't likely to run off and get themselves killed was too optimistic.]
