open event catch-all
Characters: Kelsey-characters and you - Mondo Oowada
mustlovedogs , Lambdadelta
stalemates , [ou] Waver Velvet
nonacquiescent and Vergil
bloodright
Setting: Various
Format: Starting action, but I can go with the flow
Summary: Lambda eats her stuff out of a candy brick, Vergil and Mondo have bad hair days and Waver freezes
Warnings: Who knows what could happen, honestly.
Spring; Vergil; floor 19 and around
[Monsoons sure do make reading hard and Vergil's clearly just about had it with trying. He shuts the book in his hands with what would have been a crack if it weren't for the pages being entirely waterlogged.
Elsewhere, someone's having a hell of a time keeping his hair out of his eyes. Well, that's what it might look like to most, but for him, it's more about looking too much like his idiot of a twin with the rain making it impossible to keep his hair slicked back. He's clutching a photograph, which has clearly suffered a lot of water damage. If only he could find somewhere to dry it, it could be salvaged.]
Summer; Mondo; dorm floors and forest
[Spring has broken Mondo's perm iron, and the summer heat isn't helping things. So, anyone who spots Mondo...may not quite recognise him. His hair's down, straight, and it falls to his waist. He wears only his pants and tank top, and spends the entire season desperately searching for food and water to hand out. Those closest to him are the top priority, but after taking care of them, there should at least be some berries or meat left over, that he'll gladly hand over to anyone he spots.]
Autumn; Lambdadelta; floor 14
[Lambda's sitting in the media room, a television floating in the air to keep it from being lost in the leaves. Meanwhile she's making use of them as a nice place to sit, they're piled up almost like a throne while she rolls around watching horror movies.
Oh yeah, and there's a multicoloured brick about the size of Lambda herself in her hands, that she's gnawing on. It's the candy she had stored in her trunk, all melted together...along with her other belongings. You might see some pink lingerie sticking out, or a black cat stuffed animal...]
Winter; Waver; dorm floors
[Mostly, Waver stays in his room, or at least close to it. But wherever he is, there are a few constants. He's huddled up, shivering, despite wearing his usual clothing, along with the Christmas sweater he received before, and the deerhide cloak Rider had made for him. But more importantly to him, he's holding his copy of The Iliad tight against his chest in an attempt to keep it from any more damage. The book suffered a lot of damage through spring and summer, and he can't stand to see any more. By now he isn't so much protecting himself from the elements as the book, though he does sit by a small fire.]
Anytime; Anyone; Anywhere
[This one's entirely up to you, if you so choose. You can always hit me up on plurk/aim/pm if you want to plot something.]

hi waver
[Is he cold? Oh hell yes, because this Waver doesn't have any extra clothes or guard against the heat past the small magically-formed fire hovering a few inches above his hand. He put it out upon walking in, sitting beside himself without a second thought.]
Are you doing alright?
hello self
Not exactly.

ONE MONTH LATER...

Summer, forest
However, as she slowly walked, she spotted someone..rather familiar.]
Mondo?..What happened to your hair?
no subject
Huh? Oh...uh, rain broke my iron...
no subject
I see..that rainstorm was horrible. It managed to destroy all of my books.
[Another sigh.]
If you want..I'll give you a ribbon..so that you can tie it up and keep it out of your face.

[This event has gotten Katsuya out of the dorms more often than usual, if only because they're no more safe than anywhere else.]

hi roomie, such a nice summer weather huh
With his sword in hand and his evoker sheathed, Minato's going to try and hunt some animals for their meat. They can't do any fancy cooking, but cooking their meat over a fire should be good enough.
Hearing someone's approaching, Minato glance over.]
...Mondo-san.
[Yeah, he knows it's him.]

Ou, Arisato. How's it going?

[Japan's summers was never like this!]

She just blinks a few times though, mostly staring at the candy brick. ]
What's that supposed to be? [ At least tell her it's some new cool trick she thought up to kill people with. Come on. ]

Mondo~! Dorm floors
Ah... but-but what about you, Oowada-kun...?

[The pleasures of a broken home.]
But you gotta stay strong, tough dealing with the heat!
no subject
[He takes the offered food and drink, though he doesn't really have much of an appetite in this heat.]
Mn. Thank you. It... really is very hot...
[And it makes him feel a little faint...]

As he's unable to de-Materialize whilst carrying a solid object, Lancelot stands among the stacks, soaked to the skin, clutching what looks to be an old, simply bound book in his hands. His sword is sheathed, and therefore invisible. His black suit jacket he carries over one arm, his dark hair clings to his face and shoulders.
His tie he has removed. It is now spooled-up in a trouser pocket.
He is not alone in this place, there is another. The pale-haired man has a swordsman's build and appears to be every bit as unhappy as is Lancelot himself. Two strangers, stalking about, clutching precious objects in a flooded Library. He cannot see what the man holds, but the manner in which he holds it is telling.]
I would say "well met", but it hardly seems appropriate.
no subject
More appropriate than the weather.
no subject
Fairly any word at all would be more appropriate than a downpour of rain indoors.
I was seeking a dry place-- for this book, not for myself, but I fear there is none to be found here.
[He begins to think he should have summoned his armor, frankly.]
I am called Lancelot.

Lambda
When he sees the witch he met before, he smiles and decides, well, he'll watch what she's watching. Movies weren't things he'd really explored as far as fiction went, for the familiarity of the books.
But, well... He'd dust leaves off a beanbag chair and drag it over.* Do you mind if I join you?
no subject
Be my guest.
Candy?
[She holds up her candy-slude-block. Yeah just gnaw on the end there.
On the tv is a cheesy slasher film with some of the worst special effects around.]
no subject
Ah...
*It doesn't help that he hasn't had a good encounter with candy in his life...
But it's rude to refuse an offer of food. He'll try to break off a piece of the end there...*
SUMMER SUN, SOMETHING'S BEGUN... wait
...Yeah, he doesn't even give Mondo a second glance as he makes a very slow trek up the staircase, determined to find a floor with water on it or something. In his defense, he seems pretty out of it anyway. HE DOESN'T TAKE WELL TO HEAT even if he'd argue otherwise.]
