[Spring, Aleph, meadow]
[Hiding under a tree, Aleph tries to dry out his Arm Terminal, which is starting to go on the fritz. His demons are out and surrounding him - too dangerous to keep them in a malfunctioning device.]

It's no good...

[He sighs and leans against the tree as the rain pours around them.]

[Spring, Katsuya Suou, sauna]
[Katsuya slides his family photos inside the sauna locker. They're already mostly soaked, but he can't bear to throw them out yet. Maybe they'll dry out and be salvageable?

That done, he groans and paces the floor.]

[Summer, Zett Takajo, space projection floor]
[Zett isn't too concerned about lightning, it being his natural element...

And it looks really cool on this floor.]

Maybe I should try the caverns next!

[Autumn, Ryuunosuke Uryuu, staircase]
[Whoopsy-daisy! Ryuunosuke just slipped on a pile of leaves and fell onto the floor on his butt.]

Owww...

[How dangerous this is depends on the particular floor he just fell onto.]

[Winter, V/V, dorm floors]
[V/V has had a brilliant idea.

See, there are lots of unoccupied rooms on the fifth floor, right? And they have four beds apiece, and those beds have blankets. So she goes from room to room, gathering blankets and piling them all together.

Other people may see her as a giant pile of blankets walking around on its own.]

Oh, you're welcome! I'm always happy to teach people things!

However..where are we going to get paper and markers? All my books and my pen were destroyed by the monsoon.

That's a good point... We can't do anything with the books in the library, they're too nice. -I hope they're all okay.

They took quite the beating, but I think they'll be alright when this whole mess is over. Maybe there's some paper in the workshop though..or maybe we could stitch the message on some fabric.

We could do it on the request forms, maybe?

Oh, that's true! We could write on the back of them! No one would notice! I'm sure the workshop probably has some pens..and if not, we'll use berries as ink and try to work with that.

I wouldn't have thought of that! You're really smart.

Well..I try to be. Before pens with ink were made, people used inkwells and quills to write, so we can at least try to make something similar to that.

I'm not sure what we'll use in place of quills though.

I could pick off a feather or two.

[And Tohko suddenly remembered that V/V has wings.]

Oh..I wouldn't want you to do that! Wouldn't that hurt?

It might sting a little, but they're pretty convenient. They're right there.

That's true..but still..I wouldn't want to take an option that could hurt you if we couldn't. Maybe we could use sticks or something.

I bet that would work too!

Hopefully it would! Of course, we might find other tools-like paintbrushes or something-that haven't been destroyed later on, but sticks might work.

I suppose we should work quickly, or everyone will freeze. Which do you want to do, gather berries and brushes or papers?

I'll get the papers, you can get the other parts.

Alright then! I'll go and grab them then. I'll meet you back here when I'm done.

[Still tightly holding onto the blanket, Tohko walked through the hallway and up the stairs. Normally, she would have ran, but she had to walk-it was a good way to conserve energy and heat. She stopped in the cafeteria to grab a bowl before moving onwards to the sixth floor. Seeing all the snow made her doubt that she would find any berries at all..but she had to try. If she couldn't, then she would see if any of the cafeteria's food would work.

In the meantime, she started gathering up small, strong sticks that they could use.]

[While Tohko did that, V/V headed to the floor with the request forms. At least she knew that they would be there, so she gathered a whole bunch before returning.]

[It had taken her a lot of digging and a lot of patience, but Tohko did manage to find a few berries buried under the snow and leaves. To make sure they would have enough liquid, she grabbed a container of apple juice on the way back down to meet V/V. She smiled at the girl as she walked towards her.]

I'm sorry..I couldn't find any berries, but I did find some apple juice. Maybe that would work.

I think that should work. And, I found enough paper that we can make signs!

[She produces the forms proudly.]

[Tohko grinned at that and nodded. If her hands were free, she'd be clapping for V/V right about now.]

That's great! I guess we can start making signs then..where should we host it?

How about one of the upper lounges?

Oh, sure! One that's close to the dorms so that everyone can get there quickly.

[Tohko held out a stick for V/V to take.]

I guess we had better get started!~

[Without further ado, V/V takes a stick and starts making up a sign.]

[Smiling, Tohko took a sheet of paper from V/V's pile and started to work too. Hopefully they could get these all done in time.]

[Work work work! V/V works with a determination, but tries not to get them sloppy and illegible.]

[Tohko, being a book girl, wasn't bad at writing. She just had a few things in her hands that were impeding her, but it wasn't illegible. She kept on writing, smiling all the while and trying to forget about the cold.]
