[Spring, Aleph, meadow]
[Hiding under a tree, Aleph tries to dry out his Arm Terminal, which is starting to go on the fritz. His demons are out and surrounding him - too dangerous to keep them in a malfunctioning device.]

It's no good...

[He sighs and leans against the tree as the rain pours around them.]

[Spring, Katsuya Suou, sauna]
[Katsuya slides his family photos inside the sauna locker. They're already mostly soaked, but he can't bear to throw them out yet. Maybe they'll dry out and be salvageable?

That done, he groans and paces the floor.]

[Summer, Zett Takajo, space projection floor]
[Zett isn't too concerned about lightning, it being his natural element...

And it looks really cool on this floor.]

Maybe I should try the caverns next!

[Autumn, Ryuunosuke Uryuu, staircase]
[Whoopsy-daisy! Ryuunosuke just slipped on a pile of leaves and fell onto the floor on his butt.]

[How dangerous this is depends on the particular floor he just fell onto.]

[Winter, V/V, dorm floors]
[V/V has had a brilliant idea.

See, there are lots of unoccupied rooms on the fifth floor, right? And they have four beds apiece, and those beds have blankets. So she goes from room to room, gathering blankets and piling them all together.

Other people may see her as a giant pile of blankets walking around on its own.]

It'd be nice! And you're the nice one of us, right?

[It's true that usually, Kariya is nice in the Tower. Usually, he has no reason to be otherwise. But he won't be nice to this person. It was due to him and his Servant that Rin was almost killed. Other children had been. Some things make Kariya less than reasonable, and that is one of them.]

I used to be nice. I'm a different person than I was then.

It doesn't take long to summon the blade wing worms, though it does take effort. The worms come from his mouth, rise up from his skin, bloody at first, but shaking the blood off their wings quickly enough as they transform.]

[Ryuunosuke backs away. Alone, he's no match for a magus. He'd love to examine Kariya in more detail, find out what makes the bugs from his insides tick, but preserving his own life comes first, usually.]

[A number of the blade wing worms fly around Ryuunosuke, blocking his path as he backs off. There's blood on Kariya's lips, some of it trickling down to his chin.

I know you can't feel sorry for what you've done, but you should.

Never.

[What is regret? Certainly not something Ryuunosuke can lie about.]

I didn't think so.

[The worms buzz around Ryuunosuke, agitated. It's easier to control them with the added strength being healed has given him. They pick up on the magus' anger. They snap their jaws, their teeth sharp.]

What you are is inhuman.

Wouldn't that be cool? But no, I'm just a human.

[He chuckles, high and unrepentant.]

[The Blade Wing Worms swoop in closer. There's blood at the corner of one of Kariya's eyes, and it rolls down his cheek as a dark tear.]

You know what I mean.

That makes it worse. You're a human, but you're a monster. You shouldn't be allowed to live.

[When he's angry, Kariya doesn't exactly think clearly.]

It's kind of a shame you can't do anything about that, right? All you'll do by 'killing' me is give me a high, assuming you make it cool at all.

[It'll probably be interesting. Death of one thousand bugs?]

[He frowns, his jaw tightening. It's true, and infuriating, that there's really nothing he can do, not if death doesn't bother Ryuunosuke. But he wants to do something. It agitates him.

One of the worms swoops in closer, its sharp wings close enough to cut Ryuunosuke's cheek, if he's not careful. Lunging in, it aims a bite at his neck. Kariya doesn't seem to care.]

You should be locked up, here. That's what I'd like to do. To keep everyone safe from you.

[Ryuunosuke hisses a little as the worm draws blood. He's not immune to pain - it's just that he doesn't mind so much.]

Good luck with that, man.

[Ryuunosuke's response only makes him feel more frustrated, which makes him more angry and his thinking less clear. Two other Blade Wing Worms swoop in, their wings equally sharp, while the rest continue to buzz around, in a tight circuit surrounding Ryuunosuke.]

I'll do something. I can't let you just keep doing what you want.

Pretty sure you can. [Ryuunosuke wipes some of the blood from his cheek and now is paying more attention to the beautiful color on his fingers than to Kariya himself.]

No, I can't.

[As his anger surges, so do the worms, attacking Ryuunosuke again. One goes for his arm, while another bites at his shoulder, a third flying at his face.

Maybe he shouldn't... He knows he shouldn't, but he's so angry, and what Ryunnosuke does is so horrible.

The fact that Ryuunosuke is hardly even paying attention to him doesn't help the way he's feeling.]

Listen to me. You can't do these things. It's wrong, and no one will let you.

Heard that one before. [It's said without even looking at him.]
