[Spring, Aleph, meadow]
[Hiding under a tree, Aleph tries to dry out his Arm Terminal, which is starting to go on the fritz. His demons are out and surrounding him - too dangerous to keep them in a malfunctioning device.]

It's no good...

[He sighs and leans against the tree as the rain pours around them.]

[Spring, Katsuya Suou, sauna]
[Katsuya slides his family photos inside the sauna locker. They're already mostly soaked, but he can't bear to throw them out yet. Maybe they'll dry out and be salvageable?

That done, he groans and paces the floor.]

[Summer, Zett Takajo, space projection floor]
[Zett isn't too concerned about lightning, it being his natural element...

And it looks really cool on this floor.]

Maybe I should try the caverns next!

[Autumn, Ryuunosuke Uryuu, staircase]
[Whoopsy-daisy! Ryuunosuke just slipped on a pile of leaves and fell onto the floor on his butt.]

Owww...

[How dangerous this is depends on the particular floor he just fell onto.]

[Winter, V/V, dorm floors]
[V/V has had a brilliant idea.

See, there are lots of unoccupied rooms on the fifth floor, right? And they have four beds apiece, and those beds have blankets. So she goes from room to room, gathering blankets and piling them all together.

Other people may see her as a giant pile of blankets walking around on its own.]

[If he can just make it passed Ryuunosuke and up the stairs, he'll be on a different floor, he should be able to use magecraft then, and if not at least run away.

But as he looks to the stairs, he takes his eyes off the murderer with a knife. And a moment later feels that knife cutting deep into his leg...if he wasn't terrified and in pain, he might find some irony in having his Achilles tendon cut...]

Now, if I kill you too quickly, then the bots'll just show up and clean up your body, so I'd better- [A stab to the other leg.] -aim for nonvital areas first if I want to have any fun. That should make sense even to you.

[nonacquiescent]

[Waver cries out in pain as he crumples to the floor, unable to stand.

But that's not going to stop him, he has to at least try to fight back! He grabs onto one of Ryuunosuke's legs, trying to make him lose his balance.]

You're insane...!!

[Ryuunosuke falls, but keeps a grip on his knife, which he stabs into the back of Waver's hand.]

Bad Waver. No biscuit.

[nonacquiescent]

Ah...! Screw you, what was that about 'forget it and let's be friends' you were always on about?!

[He takes a swing at his stomach, unable to reach much else with the knife in his other hand.]

Oof- what makes you think I don't kill the people I like? [Ryuunosuke kicks him in return for that.]

[nonacquiescent]

[He winces, but tries to grab that leg, even though he doesn't know how it'll help him. He just has to do something.]

That's stupid!! Even you wouldn't be that dumb, if you kill someone, they're dead, that's it!!

[People die when they are killed, Ryuunosuke, didn't you read F/SN?!]

[He wasn't in that one therefore it sucked. :|

Ryuunosuke slices open a line on the grabbing arm, which should be enough to be able to shake him off.]

[At least his hand is free to clamp over the wound, which he does immediately, shouting in pain.

He really is going to die, isn't he? By Ryuunosuke of all people, after he said he could definitely handle him...but he could have if they were on a floor that allowed powers, right...?]

[He stabs that arm again, aiming for something major.]

Do you mind your liver? You won't really need it before you die.

[nonacquiescent]

[As much as he doesn't want to show any sign of weakness or give Ryuunosuke any satisfaction, it hurts, more than anything he's felt before, and he can't stop the tears coming to his eyes.]

I-I'm not going to...!

[kindofademon]

Not going to die? Sorry, nobody's gonna come rescue you.

[He slashes Waver's stomach open and reaches in.]

I've always said that killing lets you see what a person's really made of~

[If there's anything Kelsey's childhood taught her it's that stomach wounds are the absolute worst pain possible and take far too long to die from. (Thank you for the horrifying war stories, dad)

His breath catches somewhere in his throat, and his eyes go wide. He tries to squirm away, to still somehow flee, but despite his best efforts, he can hardly move, and it only makes the pain worse. That sharp, hot pain in his stomach makes him want to vomit, but all he does is cough up a splatter of blood. Even moaning in pain only furthers it.]

[Ryuunosuke pulls out some of his guts and examines them, seemingly not paying attention to Waver still crying in pain for a moment in favor of his insides.]

Wow, they're super pretty... You're lucky, y'know. See what was inside you? [He holds the dripping guts in front of Waver's eyes.]

[nonacquiescent]

W-what the hell's pretty...about that?!

[The exertion of shouting at him makes Waver wince, more blood rising in his throat.]

[kindofademon]

The vivid color, the texture - I guess it's useless trying to explain to you. [He shrugs and carelessly drops them.]

[nonacquiescent]

Y-you're sick...

[He gasps, the pain clear in his voice and on his face, though he still makes a great effort to glare defiantly.]

[kindofademon]

Maybe, but I'm having fun, and it looks like you're not.

[He twirls his knife.] What should I go for next?

[nonacquiescent]

[Maybe he should bite his tongue, for his own sake in several ways, but, he can't help mumbling...]

Maybe you should quit while you're ahead...

[kindofademon]

No, no, I can't take your head off, you'll die too quickly. Silly you.

[nonacquiescent]

[Waver scowls, but a moment later, cries out in pain as fresh tears spring to his eyes. He clamps a hand over his stomach, pushing against it. As much as he wants to act tough, it's too difficult to keep it up.]

[kindofademon]

You're noisy. [Ryuunosuke reaches toward Wavers's mouth and grabs hold of his tongue. While Waver probably tries to bite him, he carefully slides the knife over the front part of his tongue.]

[nonacquiescent]

[Predictably, he does try, it's probably his last chance, although at this point, knowing he'll be brought back the next day, he would rather die and be healed. But that would give Ryuunosuke some satisfaction, so it definitely isn't an option.

When he sees the knife coming, he tries to pull back, eyes growing wider.]

[Swiftly, Ryuunosuke slices through Waver's tongue. He leans back to survey his work.]

There, that should shut you up for a while.

[A weak, high-pitched sobbing is all Waver can manage. As much as he tries to hold back, it's just too much. Trying not to choke on the blood filling his mouth is effort enough.]
