Format: Prose starting, but will match.
Summary: V/V puts on a concert.
Warnings: None

On the promised day, V/V had set out several instruments, most notably guitars, on a makeshift stage that was really just a blanket in the meadow. There was also a small table that had food set upon it, now that food was more widely available and came in forms other than nutrition bars.

V/V herself was waiting for people to show up, strumming her blue guitar idly. If anyone looked her way, she offered a bright smile.

[She's only half-joking with that question.]

Sometimes. Godo didn't like that I didn't bring any money but still ate.

[prayed]

Who's Godo? Someone you knew back home?

[heavenscorpse]

Uh-huh. I lived in his apartment.

[prayed]

Huh? You ain't got your own place?

[Somehow, she wasn't expecting that.]

Nope. The whole time I was on Earth I was stationary.

[Literally.]

Sounds pretty boring.

I guess so.

[prayed]

I wouldn't wanna be the one stuck with that kinda lifestyle. You gotta get out there and stretch your legs out every once in awhile.

[She stretches out her arms over her head, as though to show how restless she is already before letting out an exaggerated sigh.]

Just being stuck here has been driving me crazy, y'know. Place's got a hundred floors and there's still nothing to do.

[Technically when they build a city on your body it's hard to move.]

I can still find things... But it's hard.

Like what? I'm drawing a blank here, y'know.

[She's genuinely curious though. She's been active for as long as she can remember, with her entry to the tower marking the first time she's stayed in one spot in years.]

Well, I've been watching movies, working on my guitar playing on other instruments... The library is good, I've learned about a lot of things I didn't know about before.

[prayed]

I'm pretty sure most of us are gonna walk away having learned a thing to two. Really, just yanking people from a bunch of different worlds...

[She chuckles.]

It sounds like something out of a fantasy manga or a bad fanfic, y'know.

What's a fanfic?

[prayed]

What is it...?

[She actually has to consider that for a few seconds. The existence of fan fiction is normal in her world. It's something she simply knows, in the same way that one instinctively understands what the sky is. As such, it takes her a few seconds to come up with a suitable explanation.]

It's a story written by a fan of a series. Like, if you wrote a sequel to your favorite movie, that'd be a fanfic, y'know.

Oh tat makes a lot of sense. But, would the author like it?

[prayed]

It probably wouldn't matter to them either way, y'know. It's something like free advertisement for them.

I guess, that's a good thing, if the person writing it has fun.
