Finally, another party

Format: Anything goes
Summary: Lancer throws his brother a party. Everyone can come except for the Archer (meaning they can come crash the party anyways)! Feel free to tag into any of the threads set up or invent your own scenario.
Warnings: None yet!

[It had taken some preparing, but the party was finally set up in a satisfactory way. There was a table for food and drink dragged in from the cafeteria, a wooden bucket filled with water with fruit floating in it, a strange paper mache Jason head pinata stacked on a scarecrow body, and a board with a pig with a Ganon head scribbled on it along with several spiraling paper "tails" attached to thumbtacks. There are no party decorations, but Lancer figures the flowers and sunshine should be decoration enough.]

[Now it's just a matter of waiting for people to show up.]

[He crosses his arms and pouts.]

I wasn't trying to get in trouble. I was trying to keep you out of trouble.

[He walks on over to Lancer, still smiling. He'll even swing his free arm around the other Servant's shoulders if he doesn't do anything to stop him.]

Be careful how you say such things. You may give the impression that you are protective of me, hound!

[He sputters, but does nothing to take Archer's arm off his shoulder.]

Of course I'm not! I'm protective of everything around you!

[bowandblade]

[He laughs at that sputtering, his voice cheerful.]

Just because there was some property damage back home...

[puppy_lancer]

And psychological damage.

[Never mind that he can damage minds as easily as Archer can.]

[bowandblade]

And that worries you? [He's not really leaning against Lancer, but there's a deliberate press against him while he sips his wine.]

[puppy_lancer]

[He squirms, but otherwise doesn't oppose the intimacy.]

Well, if you've noticed, this place has a certain effect on people. And some people don't take to it well.

[bowandblade]

I have a certain effect on people as well.

[It's not a question; there's a certain implication there. Archer 'tsks' and shakes his head, again sipping his wine.]

[puppy_lancer]

[He snorts.]

One that not everyone wants.

[bowandblade]

[He laughs a little, his hand around Lancer's shoulders reaching up to fiddle with his ponytail.]

If you do not want me around, Lancer, you only have to say so.

[puppy_lancer]

[This time, Lancer actually resists. He tsks his tongue and reaches up to swat at Archer's hand.]

I don't want you around my brother.

...Though it sounds like you two already know each other to some extent.

[Archer had referred to Diarmuid as "Lancer of the Fianna," meaning that he had gotten to know Diarmuid's identity.]

[bowandblade]

I met him not too long after I saw you in the tower. He did not tell you?

[He seems somewhat amused by this, but shrugs nonchalantly.] I cannot say I am surprised; after all, you did not say a word about me to him!

[puppy_lancer]

[He stares at Archer incredulously.]

Wait, what? You and...Diarmuid?

...You didn't say anything too bad to him, did you?

[bowandblade]

...So suspicious, hound. He seemed more incredulous of me than anything. There was nothing terrible in our meeting.

[He rolls his shoulders, tilting his head at the other Servant expectantly. He must have something to say to that.]

[puppy_lancer]

By his standard, or by yours?

[bowandblade]

Ask him, if you must! So distrusting of your elder; not a good trait at all. [He waves a hand towards the rest of the party, as if that would it any simpler to point out wherever Diarmuid had gone off to.]

[puppy_lancer]

[He makes another face at Archer.]

Stop talking like you're my grandpa or something.

[bowandblade]

You are right -- how could someone with my face be your grandfather? [He smiles, humming thoughtfully.] Then I will be your senpai.

[Ah, the wonders of the Japanese language.]

[puppy_lancer]

...No way.

[He refuses to sound like an infatuated schoolboy!]

[bowandblade]

[It's already late.]

I like the sound of it! You should be proud that your senpai has noticed you, hound!

[puppy_lancer]

Ugh.

[He wears a disgusted expression.]

That just sounds wrong coming from you.

[bowandblade]

[If anything, Lancer's disgust just seems to make Archer that much more amused, and he takes a good swig of his wine before smiling outright at the other.]

It is much more personable than lording over you as the King of Heroes, is it not?

Well, yeah...but...

[It still implies that he looks up to Archer in some way. And for some reason that rubs him a little wrong.]

Just...don't make it sound like I have a crush on you.

[bowandblade]

[Have a slap to the back, Lancer. Archer refrains from laughing this time.]

Yes, yes. You may be as shy as you wish in your adoration.
