Finally, another party

Summary: Lancer throws his brother a party. Everyone can come except for the Archer (meaning they can come crash the party anyways)! Feel free to tag into any of the threads set up or invent your own scenario.

[It had taken some preparing, but the party was finally set up in a satisfactory way. There was a table for food and drink dragged in from the cafeteria, a wooden bucket filled with water with fruit floating in it, a strange paper mache Jason head pinata stacked on a scarecrow body, and a board with a pig with a Ganon head scribbled on it along with several spiraling paper "tails" attached to thumbtacks. There are no party decorations, but Lancer figures the flowers and sunshine should be decoration enough.]

[Now it's just a matter of waiting for people to show up.]

Oh. That.

[He makes a face as he remembers what happened last time.]

Ah...it's alright. How are you doing? Hope I didn't give you too much of a shock.

[sicharia]

[Well, he didn't outright refuse her apology, so after a moment of deliberation, she nods. Unthinkingly, her eye flicks away from his face when he asks how she's doing, and her cheeks color. She definitely seems meeker than she did when they spoke over the terminals.]

I'm fine. You don't need to worry about me. What happened wasn't your fault, anyway. I just—I'm sorry you had to go through what you did.

[puppy_lancer]

[He grins when he sees her blush.]

Don't worry about it. I'm a hero. I've had worse.

[sicharia]

[She frowns at that, but the expression is horribly ineffectual.]

You've had— You've had worse?

[She sounds vaguely exasperated. There's an unsaid Really?? hanging in the air.]

[puppy_lancer]

Well...maybe not much worse.

[He rubs the back of his head. Now it's his turn to blush.]

But I can bounce back from stuff like that pretty quickly. I mean, why worry about it when it's already over?

[sicharia]

[She hesitates for a moment, then sighs. She guesses that's admirable, but...]

As long as you're sure. If you do need anything from anyone, though— I'll help, if I can. I'm—sorry to have troubled you.

[Yes, she just apologized for apologizing.]

You're not trouble.

[He leans in and grins.]

In fact, you're just the opposite of trouble. My day's gotten brighter now that I'm looking at a pretty young lady.

If you stay, I can introduce you to my brother. He's a nice guy! Really!

I doubt he'd kick anyone out. Especially not you. So why don't you just stay put and relax and I'll go find him?
