Format: Anything goes
Summary: Lancer throws his brother a party. Everyone can come except for the Archer (meaning they can come crash the party anyways)! Feel free to tag into any of the threads set up or invent your own scenario.
Warnings: None yet!

[It had taken some preparing, but the party was finally set up in a satisfactory way. There was a table for food and drink dragged in from the cafeteria, a wooden bucket filled with water with fruit floating in it, a strange paper mache Jason head pinata stacked on a scarecrow body, and a board with a pig with a Ganon head scribbled on it along with several spiraling paper "tails" attached to thumbtacks. There are no party decorations, but Lancer figures the flowers and sunshine should be decoration enough.]

[Now it's just a matter of waiting for people to show up.]

Ah, yeah. Drinking songs.

Drinking songs? But Daddy says that it's bad to sing and drink your milk! You could spill!

[..Yotsuba..]

...I don't think we're talking about the same kind of drinking here.

...Then what are you talking about?

[Really, she was quite puzzled about this.]

Drinking. As in, you know, alcohol.

[Lancer, she's just a young and weird kid.]

I don't know! What's al..alcohol?

...It's a grown-up drink.

Oh! How come only grown-ups can have it?

Well, some people think it makes kids do funny things, but between you and me, I don't know why.

[ AHEM, CONVENIENT INTERRUPTING PALADIN. ]

Yotsuba! That was a lovely song! Would you teach it to me?

[Not that Yotsuba seemed to mind. If Cecil was trying to distract Yotsuba from alcohol, she had succeeded. At least, for the moment.]

Yotsuba can teach you! It's easy! Did you hear the lines?

[Lancer gives a quick wave to the paladin.]

Hey, you came!

[ Actually, she doesn't know what they were talking about, but Cecil has always had odd timing—in that, she either shows up just in time or just a minute too late. ]

Of course.

[ She smiles at Lancer and nods to Yotsuba. ]

I did!

[Well, if she heard the lines, the rest was very simple for Yotsuba.]

If you did, then all you have to do is sing them! It's easy!

Like the kid said.

[Lancer turns to look at Yotsuba and then looks back at Cecil.]

I bet you two would sound good as a duet!

[ The paladin laughs at that. ]

I don't know if I would say that, but I'm willing to try. Will you sing it with me, Yotsuba? I'm not sure I quite have the tune memorized yet.

[While Yotsuba didn't know what the word duet meant, at the question, Yotsuba nodded, throwing another fist into the air.]

Yotsuba will! On three! One..two..three!~

[And once again, Yotsuba started to sing Happy Birthday.]

[Lancer, of course, keeps quiet, letting the two girls speak to each other.]

[ Cecil allows Yotsuba to sing a little bit ahead of her, but she soon falls into the same pace as her, singing the song along with her. ]

[At that end, Yotsuba smiled and gave the woman a thumbs-up.]

You see?! It's easy!

[Lancer smiles and hums a little bit of the previous tune.]

Both of you should sing more. You do so beautifully.

[ Yotsuba is so cute. Cecil laughs. Although she wishes the girl wasn't subjected to the Tower, her presence does make the paladin happy. ]

Perhaps you should give it a try, Lancer.

[While Yotsuba would have liked to be back home with her Daddy, she did like some of the people here, even if the Tower was dangerous sometimes. At the suggestion, Yotsuba smacked Lancer on the shoulder. Not out of malice..she was just really excited by the suggestion.]

We should all sing together!

Ah...

[Lancer looks up at Yotsuba, then back at Cecil. If they were both looking forward to having him sing, then why not?]

Give the signal then, kid.

[ The child's obvious delight at her suggestion and Lancer's fleeting hesitation makes Cecil giggle to herself, but she nods and smiles her approval to the man before she clears her throat and makes a show of preparing to sing Yotsuba's song again. ]
