Finally, another party

Format: Anything goes
Summary: Lancer throws his brother a party. Everyone can come except for the Archer (meaning they can come crash the party anyways)! Feel free to tag into any of the threads set up or invent your own scenario.

[It had taken some preparing, but the party was finally set up in a satisfactory way. There was a table for food and drink dragged in from the cafeteria, a wooden bucket filled with water with fruit floating in it, a strange paper mache Jason head pinata stacked on a scarecrow body, and a board with a pig with a Ganon head scribbled on it along with several spiraling paper "tails" attached to thumbtacks. There are no party decorations, but Lancer figures the flowers and sunshine should be decoration enough.]

[Now it's just a matter of waiting for people to show up.]

[Diarmuid gives the drinks a concerned look.]

Did you spike any of them? I mean, a lot of them are already alcoholic. How do you spike alcohol? Do I want to know?

With something spicy. Or with things like small fish. What, you've never done it before?

S-small fish?

[Diarmuid's eyes are wide in shock.]

No! Someone could choke on something like that. Why would you do that?

[puppy_lancer]

Oh come on, they were mostly dead! And if anyone choked, I'd slap them on the back. But really, the looks on those guy's faces when they realize they were drinking fish? Priceless.

[oathshackledbird]

Brother...

[Diarmuid sighs, shaking his head.]

After Oscar, one would think I would be used to these kinds of tricks, but... Just be careful, okay? It stops being a joke when someone gets hurt.

[puppy_lancer]

[He stops for a second and gets a sad look on his face. He could remember someone else saying that a long time ago--his other brother. However, he goes back to his smile quickly.]

Don't worry, I'll never slip anything into your cup.

[oathshackledbird]

[Diarmuid rolls his eyes, grin returning to his face.]

Of course not. I already know to keep an eye out for your little tricks! There would be no fun in it.

[puppy_lancer]

I told you one trick, brother. I'm not gonna tell you all of them.

[Already, one hand is moving up to try to drop berries down Diarmuid's shirt. Time to test that vigilance.]

[oathshackledbird]

[Diarmuid's eyes shift to the side, easily catching his brother's movement. He doesn't move to stop him, though. Not physically anyway.]

You know, that would be a terrible waste of what little good will ever come out of something even remotely linked to Jason...

[puppy_lancer]

[He pulls his hand back and pops the berries into his mouth.]

You're noticing these tricks like a pro. You sure you've never pulled them on anyone?

[oathshackledbird]

Pulled them? No. Had to stop someone from pulling them? Yes. Oscar was quite fond of his tricks. Especially when he was drunk...

[puppy_lancer]

He was? Was he quite as good as me?

[A pause.]

You know, Ferdiad stopped me from pulling tricks too. But not all the time. Sometimes, he needed a laugh, so he just let me prank people however I liked.

I'm not sure? I haven't seen that many of your tricks yet and he was pretty good.

[Diarmuid pauses, suddenly looking worried.]

That is not a request for you to start pranking people all over the place!

There is nothing wrong with a few pranks. I won't lie. I did the same as you say Ferdiad did sometimes. Besides, there is nothing wrong with innocent fun on occasion. It was better than letting Oscar get too bored or wound up anyway. That is when the more dangerous tricks came out.

[puppy_lancer]

You're the best, bro!

[He puts his arms around Diarmuid in a big hug and flashes his brother a grin that promises only naughty things.]

I promise it won't be all over the place.

[oathshackledbird]

Brother! Please, I want you getting into less trouble, not more!

[He gives his brother a stern look.]

I don't want a repeat of what happened with Ganondorf.

[puppy_lancer]

...It won't come to that. I've learned my lesson.

Though, if you helped out, I could hide my tracks better.

[oathshackledbird]

Brother, I think if you are that worried about covering your tracks, then you are getting in over your head.

[Sorry, Cu Diarmuid's not going to be your partner in crime on this.]

They would really deserve it, though...

[He pouts.]

Pranks are suppose to be fun little tricks, not an option for revenge.

[Diarmuid gives him a look.]

You shouldn't be talking about deserving or not deserving. If you are, there is something more than pranking going on.

[puppy_lancer]

Alright, alright, so I might be exaggerating.

[oathshackledbird]

[Diarmuid shakes his head, suddenly slightly embarrassed.]

Nah, I am probably just being a strict old goat as Oscar would say. It's just that trouble is so easy to find here, I don't want to do anything to increase the chances of it finding us.

[puppy_lancer]

[He bursts out laughing at this.]

You? A goat? You don't look anything like one! Even if you were something stubborn, you would be...a boa--no, a bull!

[oathshackledbird]

It would have been nicer for him to compare me to a bull.

[Diarmuid crosses his arms over his chest and laughs, letting the almost mention of 'boar' slide.]

But nope, I was a goat. A stubborn annoying old goat.

At least it was the entire goat. And not the goat's dung or dick.

[Guess who's been compared to manure and animal genitals in terms of intelligence at least once in their life?]

Oh, I am sure there are people who called me those things behind my back.

[He tries not to think of the things that the people his curse caused him to hurt called him. The insults were probably both very creative and not very pretty.]

But not my friends. Oscar didn't mean to hurt me with his insults. I just know I annoyed him sometimes. Despite being friends, we were very different people.
