Finally, another party
Characters: ProtoLancer puppy_lancer, Zero Lancer oathshackledbird and anyone interested in attending a birthday party. Details here.
Setting: Meadow
Format: Anything goes
Summary: Lancer throws his brother a party. Everyone can come except for the Archer (meaning they can come crash the party anyways)! Feel free to tag into any of the threads set up or invent your own scenario.
Warnings: None yet!
[It had taken some preparing, but the party was finally set up in a satisfactory way. There was a table for food and drink dragged in from the cafeteria, a wooden bucket filled with water with fruit floating in it, a strange paper mache Jason head pinata stacked on a scarecrow body, and a board with a pig with a Ganon head scribbled on it along with several spiraling paper "tails" attached to thumbtacks. There are no party decorations, but Lancer figures the flowers and sunshine should be decoration enough.]
[Now it's just a matter of waiting for people to show up.]

That's right. Are you sure you're okay, though? I was kind of worried, to be honest. That's why I hadn't said anything, but I figured I should at least clear the air at some point, you know?

I wasn't entirely myself, but I can safely say things are back to normal for me now. At least, what passes for normal, given that we're all here. Things were really rough last month, so I'm happy that things have calmed down. It's really a shame it can't be like this all of the time, with everyone happy like this.
[She frowns for just a second, but it's only in passing.]
Only if you're sure you're okay with that! I'm a little curious, I can understand if it's something that's personal.

I am actually trying to learn to cook myself. It's a slow process since so much has changed. I am pretty good cooking things over an open fire, but not many people do that anymore.
I am relieved to know you are feeling better. I don't mind explaining what happened. Actually, knowledge of what happened has shown to help the curse go away faster and might help keep you from being caught by its spell again.
You see, when I lived the first time, I was given a curse that was always active and was something I could not control. That curse made any woman who saw my face fall in love with me. While here in the tower, my curse has been messed with so that it is only active sometimes, but most of the time is inactive. Unfortunately, I still have no way of knowing when it is and when it isn't active. During that time it became active and was affecting even people it should not have been able to.
