Finally, another party

Format: Anything goes
Summary: Lancer throws his brother a party. Everyone can come except for the Archer (meaning they can come crash the party anyways)! Feel free to tag into any of the threads set up or invent your own scenario.
Warnings: None yet!

[It had taken some preparing, but the party was finally set up in a satisfactory way. There was a table for food and drink dragged in from the cafeteria, a wooden bucket filled with water with fruit floating in it, a strange paper mache Jason head pinata stacked on a scarecrow body, and a board with a pig with a Ganon head scribbled on it along with several spiraling paper "tails" attached to thumbtacks. There are no party decorations, but Lancer figures the flowers and sunshine should be decoration enough.]

[Now it's just a matter of waiting for people to show up.]

I am glad to hear that. This last month was quite cruel and I was worried about how you were doing especially...

[He lets the sentence trail off because he really would rather not think about the twisted thing his brother had been transformed into.]

Archer hasn't been giving you any problems, has he? He talks about you a lot...

I managed to evade the worst of it, though...most of that was just hiding.

Archer - Um...Not really? It's been a bit hectic... [wait wh-] ... He what?!

I know hiding isn't often seen as a good thing, but I think sometimes it is the best thing to do especially in a situation as horrible as that one was. I know my brother was very worried about you especially since he couldn't be at your side during everything.

[Diarmuid gives her a confused look.]

Archer seems very fond of you and has mentioned you more than once. I have to admit it confuses me a little to hear him speak of a master not his own like that. Are you saying you didn't know that?

I....was aware. [There's a sad look on her face for a moment.] He probably wouldn't have wanted to be seen like that, too...I know I wouldn't.

[And there's that aggravated flush on her face.]

I haven't met him in my time, so naturally I wouldn't know this! Honestly...!

He didn't, but I was stubborn and had to track him down to try and help.

[For a moment, there is a sad look on his face too.]

It probably would have been better if I hadn't.

[Diarmuid shakes his head, pushing away the bad memories. He then gives her a serious look.]

Right. You are from so much earlier in the war than the other version we knew was. Listen, in that case, if Archer gives you too much trouble, will you please be sure to let either my brother or I know? Some playing around is okay, but I am not convinced he knows where to stop...
