Room 1-07 (Closed to Roommates)
[Hello, roommates, have a newbie! Tear’s just waking up… And she’s got some issues. First of all, she's not back in Yulia City. Second of all, WHO CHANGED HER CLOTHES! And third, she's got this collar on. She's not into this kinky stuff. So...

She's going to scramble around until she sees the note. She carefully reads it over a few times.]

Impossible! Auldrant's gone? Who is playing this cruel joke? Where are Anise and Natalia, because if they've put me in this ridiculous outfit for Peony's entertainment, when we've got our trip to Eldrant to take care of...Yulia help me I will smack them both.

First floor cafeteria
[Tear is looking over the menu for this strange place now that she's dressed in her OWN clothes again. On one hand, it reminds her a little of the Oracle Headquarters at the cathedral in Daath, but there is something innately sinister in the entire place's atmosphere.]

Hm, while none of these sound particularly bad, the flower theme's a little daunting [She's not talking to anyone in general. Just out loud.]

Third Floor Library
[Now that Tear has some down time, she's going to curl up with a good book and try to relax. She's currently browsing the historical novels to see what is there. The titles are interesting to her, but it takes a second of staring for the words to translate into the Fonic Alphabet she's been used to.

This entire place is going to take some getting used to for her. No Auldrant. Ripped away from her friends and her grandfather. No idea when or if she can even get out of this place. In reality, if she wasn't trying to still process everything, she might cry.]

What is this Pride and Prejudice? Is it any good?

Floor 101
[Unlike the beautiful meadow on the 25th floor, Tear feels completely alone as she stands in the midst of the hanging gardens. If you come upon her, you will only find her staring out in the vast open sky, not moving, not talking, not singing. Just staring with a blank expression on her face.]

The flower food is good, though. And last month we had to live off of nutrition bars.

[V/V isn't sure if this is a new person or not, but she thinks so.]

[Tear startles minutely at the voice at her ear. Slowly, she turns around to take in the other person behind her.]

What are nutrition bars? I've never heard of them.

[Even in Yulia City they could find actual food to make meals out of. Although, most were pretty sparse on the meat and fresh vegetables sometimes.]

Or at least comes out of his kitchen lurkerdom at the sight of a relatively familiar face and overhears her talking to herself. Whoops.]

You're going to have to eat the oatmeal first.

[Preventing other Oracle Knights from puking, clearly the best set of priorities here, Asch. He's pretty sure this isn't the same Tear from before - that one had known about the oatmeal, after all.]

[The sound of the familiar voice has Tear turning around to face him. Scowl, check. Crested hair, check. God-General tabard, check.]

Hello, Asch. Nice to see you as well. [Nope, she's not being sarcastic at all. It really is nice to see someone from home, since that letter still has her a little spooked.] What is so important about the oatmeal?

[Tohko, being a librarian, was taking care of her library duties and trying to avoid her retrieval until of a stalker..when she heard someone call out about Pride and Prejudice. Quickly running, Tohko found the source of the noise, and started to gush at the girl.]

That's a wonderful book! If you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend it, along with any other Jane Austen novels you might find!

[Tear turns to see the girl with dark hair and eyes staring at her with a dreamy look on her face.]

[There's a redhead Tear might recognize hanging out in the library--not in the same section as her, nope, just passing by. He glances at her as he passes, disappearing into another section before he actually realizes who he might've just seen.

[Another familiar voice has her turning around to facing its owner with a large smile that dies as she takes in the hair.]

Is there some reason you're wearing a wig, Luke?

I don't think it's that bad, actually. They've got some really delicious lavender blueberry bread for breakfast this month!

[Yep, another slow turn to hide the fact that she's embarrassed that someone was able to walk up on her so easily. Major Legretta would be so mad if she knew. She was always trying to tell Tear how to improve herself in every situation, even after they were both so obviously on the opposite side of the fate of their world.

She sees the blonde girl and is happy to see someone who appears to actually be friendly.]

That does sound good, actually. It's just...different.

Floor 101 - This is so not fair. *I'M* Redhead #1. Fakers.

[Luke didn't come up to this floor that often; it was nice and all, but... all the gardens around, it reminded him of home. He missed Pere and everyone in the manor more than he could even say, and it hurt to be reminded. Sometimes, though, he needed a break from the usual, and with how everything had been so messed up after last month, this was the best place for some peace and quiet.]

[...although, that all changed when he saw who was present.]

Tear...?

You're Redhead Zero. The others are just....there.

[It was all too much to deal with. Auldrant gone. Everyone she knew missing and/or dead, if they weren't here being tortured. No clue as to where her brother and his subordinates were. No way to contact her grandfather.

As she gazed out into the vast, empty openness of this artificial sky, she contemplated what was the real purpose of her being in this tower. Asch had to be right. These so-called "saviors" had to be keeping their captives here for their own sick reasons. It was enough to make her want to give up. Just when she was alone, like now.

But that voice that called out her name made her heart thrum in her chest, even though she knew that that was not the boy-man she'd left back home. Knowing that, she still couldn't stop herself from turning to face him with a soft smile.]

Hello, Luke. I didn't imagine that you'd come up here of all places. Although, I didn't think you were the type that spent a lot of time in the library either.

Floor 101

[To be fair, Guy hadn't really stepped foot onto this floor since he'd spoken to a resistance member and learned their plans. So when he emerges from the staircase, his attention is first on the drones that now patrol the gardens. A nice example of their betrayal, indeed.

It isn't until he's walked further into the gardens that he spots the brunette, double-taking as he walks past. Was that--]

Oh, hi, it's about time for you to show up, right?

[He was the last of the group she should have expected to see after her long talk with Asch in the cafeteria. And since she'd already had talks with both redheads, why the hell not?

She turned around and looked at him with tired blue eyes.]

Yes, it's me, Guy. But, before you begin, I have no memory of being here before, so let's not talk about that, okay?

[ Someone in a green tunic, fully decked out in battle gear from sword to shield and bow and quiver is really enjoying the flowery food, happily sipping at some tea and eating those funny flowers, and........ are they making... yes, yes they are making little garland-style headbands of flowers harvested from a certain lovely floor. For the Fae, mostly, but also for other people.

There's actually a few craft projects on the table aside from that: the workings of some jewelry involving preserved flowers, a necklace, so on. But when Link overhears Tear, they can't help but offer a smile. Link's voice is still a little hoarse, still a bit quiet, but the Hylian will offer Tear a smile.

Screw it. Link was done with their chip placing for today, now was a time to relax. Relax, and enjoy Riki being in charge, thank GOD. ]

[O.M.G. Cute, tiny blonde with a raspy voice... Tear has to take a deep breath to realize that this elf-like creature was asking her stuff that she understood.]

Oh, I'm not really worried. It's just that I've never had anything quite so...elaborate as all these dishes.

[It's been a while for him, since he saw a library. He was scoping it out as well, just checking to see what kind of books these humans read. Fascinating, really. And upon further inspection, heading down the rows of books, he saw someone talking about that particular book.]

I wonder... do you enjoy romance novels? I heard that's what this one is...

[Tear's never seen a library this large. Not even Emperor Peony or King Ingobert have quite an impressive collection of stories as this Tower has managed to accumulate. Her hand is on the one she's asked about when she turns to face the person who spoke to her, expression neutral.]

I wouldn't know. I've never had the opportunity to just read for fun before. The library worker, Tohko said it was a "coming of age" story.

It's miles above what they expected us to eat last month, if you ask me. Those nutrition bars could hardly be considered edible by any qualifications.

Floor 101 - Sorry for the lateness!

[Ion had never been on this floor. Not that the steps were particularly daunting; they had a similar sort of system in the Cathedral in Daath...though he doubted this could be considered fonon technology. Still, not wanting to stray too far from the dorms but but wanting to stay cooped up, as well, Ion decided to venture onto the 101st floor.

When he saw Tear--a young lady he'd be able to recognize quickly any day, he felt suddenly glad that he did. Though, he couldn't say he was necessarily relieved or happy to see her here, in the Tower. But at least it meant she was another person saved.

If you could call this place a safe haven.]

I didn't expect to see you here, Tear.

[Ion tries to make his voice as light and friendly as possible, hoping and praying that she hasn't run into any undue trouble.]

[There's a face she hadn't expected to see ever again, not with Auldrant gone and Florian amongst the dead, if she believed the letter she woke up to. Staring at the replica at the Daath cathedral had been hard enough for her to deal with. She felt ashamed at her relief when Florian had attached himself to Anise so absolutely.

So, this was...hard. Ion had given her the greatest gift he could at his death and Luke a way to defeat Van, but he was still gone. And, she had to fight to speak, even softly.]

Fon Master. I-I'll admit that I didn't expect to end up here either. Or to see you.
