Characters: Asahi Yuki and you!
Setting: Dormitories (room 01-11), floor four, floor fifteen.
Format: I'll be doing action, feel free to prose though if you want, I don't mind!
Summary: Asahi wakes up in the tower and has a fit.
Warnings: Some very slight blood in the second prompt.

( room 01-11 )

[ When Asahi wakes up, there's just confusion at first. Nothing here is like she's used to. This isn't her bedroom, these aren't her clothes, this isn't her bed.. by the time she sits up and looks around, her shock is very much apparent just from her facial expression. Asahi doesn't hide her emotions either way, they're clear and out in the open over here. She'll even ignore roommates and dive immediately for the letter, her eyes skimming it and her expression only grows more shocked at it. What.. is this true?! She can't read lies from a letter, so she has no way to tell, but.. the very idea of her world being destroyed, everyone she knows being gone.. it twists her stomach.

She stands up, starting to rummage through her trunk to find her actual clothes to put on instead of this weird suit. She's looking rather emotional, but still, roommates can approach the new girl. ]

( floor four )

[ By the time Asahi starts looking around in the tower for more answers, she finds herself on the floor with the glass windows and then stops. Outside the windows, these sights.. could that really be just a hologram or whatever if it's that realistic? Or is it true, the letter and what it said? This does look too elaborate to be the work of normal kidnappers, but how can she know for sure?! Besides, even if it's true, there's no way she can accept that!

Her world destroyed, being alone here now, having to live here..

It's sad. It's scary. It's infuriating. It's a lot of emotions at once, and of course with Asahi being Asahi she doesn't know how to deal with them other than to just directly throw them out. Physically. And so she pulls back her arm, her hand forming a fist and she strikes the glass hard in her frustration. It doesn't budge, but that's okay, she didn't intend to break it either way. This is just the only way she can express all her emotions, she has no other way.

She lets out another yell, hitting the glass again. And again. After the third time, her knuckles become chafed, and after the fourth time they start to downright bleed. She attempts one more time, but her body gives out because of the mental exhaustion from all those emotions and she drops onto the floor on her knees, covering her face with her hands. One of them is still bloody, but she doesn't even seem to pay it any attention. ]

[ Later on, when she's more calmed down again (relatively speaking, this is Asahi, after all) she ends up finding the workshop. And once she finds the wood there, she's immediately in the middle of it, searching the pieces. Occasionally she'll pick one up and stare at it before dropping it again. Sometimes she throws one or two backwards too to look at it later - if your character happens to pass by they might just accidentally get hit by one. At least she doesn't mind it, it's just that she's too brash to look.. ]

( ooc: as a side note, Asahi has the ability to see through people's lies, so if you would rather not have her do that to your character as she talks to them then please don't tag, thanks! )

There's no way, I mean-- we're talking about an entire world here! Like.. think about a planet, if a planet was destroyed then you can't just put the pieces back together!

[ Normally Asahi would be a little bit more willing to believe Tohko's words, but she's too stuck in the shock to even consider them now. ]

Normally, I would agree with you..but it's not like our worlds are gone. After all, sometimes, the residents get pulled back to them and see that they're wrecked and without life..but they're not gone. And one of the more trustworthy Administrators talked about restoring our universes, so it is possible.

.. Geez, if it's possible, then why don't they just say that right off the bat too instead of scaring us like this?! [ She tugs on her sleeve. At least her look isn't really despairing anymore, it's more sort of annoyed at best. Not with Tohko, but more just.. the situation, really. ]

[At that, Tohko sighed again and tried to pat the girl on the head.]

For two reasons. One, the person who was writing those notes is just a little kid, and, as a result, left out some key details. Two, people are only working on a way to restore them. None of them have been restored yet..but we are working on it.

[ The combination of what she's saying and the headpat - which Asahi enjoys more than she dares to say out loud - make her glance up at the girl. ]

A kid..? What do you mean, why would a kid be writing these notes?

[Just as long as the headpat helped calm the girl down.]

Because he's one of the Administrators, and the only one who has the power to pull us here. I'm guessing that he wrote those notes to help dispel any confusion we had..but since he's a kid, he forgot to put down some stuff that he knows..but we don't.

W-wait, isn't that weird?! Why would a kid be one of the people who brought us here, that's just.. weird!

[ As if kids can't have powers, Asahi. Then again, she isn't really used to supernatural powers since there's none in her own world, only the Iris but that's normal.. ]

I don't know how he got those powers, but he's the only person who can pull souls out from our universes. That's why the note says 'I saved you'. Not 'we saved you'. It's not that strange.

I think it's pretty strange though.. why did only one of them save us while there's from what I heard some sort of group taking care of the tower? If he can do something like that, then I bet he could control all of this too..!

There's a group taking care of the Tower, but Zo is the only one who can pull us here. Jason manages the medical equipment, Riki seems to be an architect of sorts, and Ruana is their leader, running things. I'm..not sure what Dax did before he was murdered, to be honest.

W.. wait, murdered?! [ You can't just mention that without explanation, Tohko! Asahi's face goes pale. ]

Someone killed him? B-because he's one of the people who run this place and they got mad at him?

[At that, Tohko sighed and nodded.]

Well..I suppose that is one way to put it. Dax was actually the only Administrators with power that sympathized with us and wanted Jason and the others to treat us better. His efforts, while appreciated and helpful, did nothing to stop Jason and Ruana, so he tried to fight Ruana a few months ago. But..he lost, and Ruana killed and ate him.

...

[ So strange. She's already had to try and deal with all the information she was given up until now, but to know this too now.. that one of their kidnappers actually sympathized with them, only to be killed.. geez.. ]

And those are the kind of people we have to live with here?

[Tohko knew how hard this was. It was why she was getting it out of the way now. It was better to know the harsh truth and have some hope than to not know anything at all.]

They are..but you know, Zo still seems to be on our side, even though he can't do anything.

Then isn't it up for us to help him..? If he gets stronger than those others you were talking about, then maybe he can help us out in return!

[ She knows it isn't that easy, but it's a direction. It's something different than the deep pit of despair she just felt at all this news. ]

That means there really is something we can do..!

[At that, Tohko smiled, and was about to nod and encourage this girl..when she looked behind them and saw that Ivan was watching them. Sighing, she pointed back to him as she spoke.]

There usually is something we can all do..but if you don't mind, we should probably move to a different floor for a little while. I'm not fond of this eavesdropper.

Sure. But.. what is that thing, either way?

[ She just assumed it was something that belonged to the girl thanks to how it was following her.. but now she frown a little as she stares at "Ivan", as if she's trying to figure out what it is. ]

This is a retrieval unit that the Administrators have been using to spy on me ever since their recent game ended. He's a pain, but he's tough to shake, so I usually try to shake him off.

They're.. spying on you? [ It strikes her as odd. Sure, maybe they'd spy on everyone, but she's fairly sure she doesn't have one following her.. ]

But why would they? I mean-- specifically you of all people!

[ Tohko looks so harmless. ]

[At that, Tohko actually smiled.]

I know. But think about it. The Administrators hate uprisings. So, why would they be spying on me?

[ Well, when she says it like that.. even Asahi can put one and one together. ]

Since you're trying to start one..?

[Dammit..at that, Tohko sighed and bit her lip, gesturing back to the drone to remind the girl just who was watching and listening.]

At least, that's what the Administrators think!

[ ...

She grumbles a little. Her hand moves up and ruffles her own hair a little, and she frowns as if she's just confused.. ]

Sure, we can go somewhere else if you want, but there's no way I can take all of this stuff here in at once.

[At that, Tohko sighed. She hadn't meant to annoy the girl..just let her know who they were dealing with here.]

I'm fine here..and that's alright. There's always a lot to digest for newcomers. I had a bit of a hard time dealing with it all myself when I first arrived.

Yeah. I'd say that I envy the people who've been here for a long time and who know all that stuff already without having to take it in at once, but.. I wouldn't wish a long stay here on anyone.

[ And she hasn't even seen the full extent of this place yet. ]
