Open to All

Characters: Ciel, Lizzie, and whoever runs into them
Setting: Starting in the dormitories, feel free to run into them at any floor you choose as they explore
Format: we're using action, but feel free to do whatevers comfortable!
Summary: The two young English nobles have awoken to find themselves in the Tower, and are quite bent on figuring out where exactly they are.
Warnings: Ciel is a jerkbutt.

When Ciel first awoke, his surroundings themselves were enough to send him into a panic. The 30 seconds of sleep paralysis didn’t make the situation much better, really-- one could say he was quite alarmed by this point. So when he could finally feel mobility returning to his body, he shot upright, almost tipping over from the lingering woozy effects. Two notes drifted off of the bed and onto the floor, causing the young earls eyebrows to raise ever so slightly. Ah. Ransom notes, then? A kidnapping, then-- But Sebastian would deal with that as per usual, he was quite sure. Shrugging ever so slightly, he jumped to his feet, picking up the papers with a careful hand and reading them over with a quick and practiced eye.
...Well, this was rather different.
Identifying the trunk mentioned in the second letter, Ciel dug through it, observing the things that had been provided to him from home, mind wracking over the situation at hand. First of all, he’d need to figure an alias-- he could recycle the one he had during the circus, wouldn’t be much of an issue. He’d need to also dress down as to not appear rich or distinguished, and luckily enough, there was a good enough outfit at hand to provide him a decent cover. Changing quickly and pulling on his eye-patch, he tucked his gun beneath his jacket, and headed out the door to survey the area.

There in the doorway of a room not five doors down the hall stood a familiar twin-tailed blond girl, a sheepish smile set over her cute doll-like face. Like Ciel, she’d woken up to find the letters, as well as her trunk. Normally she would have loved the sight of the beautiful dresses inside of it, but in that moment, she lamented their uselessness in the face of her very unfamiliar and potentially dangerous surroundings.

Someone had packed her trunk well, though. Digging a little deeper, she’d found two rapiers inside of it, gleaming and perfect for protection. The familiar grip on a bladed weapon was enough to reassure her that she would be alright for the moment, and upon leaving the room with one in hand, she’d been ready to head out to explore.

And then she’d noticed Ciel coming her way. She immediately tossed the rapier back into her trunk, slammed the door shut behind her, and gave him that sheepish smile.

((ooc: the conversation between the two will continue on in the log here, assume any thread you start is set afterwards :3 Approach wherever in the tower you choose! protip: the more technology the area has, the more luls to be had at the bbs expenses.))

A frown crossed her face. It was one thing for her and Ciel to be kidnapped, since both of them had ties to the crown. But for other young children to be kidnapped as well...it was unforgivable.

"It's nice to meet you, despite that." She dropped a curtsy. And oh drat, she needed to remind herself to use Ciel's fake name instead of his real one. "My name is Lily."

"...A pleasure to meet you as well." He bowed slightly, mumbling the words. Even though his mind wasn't in the best of states right now, he was still the victim of several years' worth of proper manners being drilled into him with several rotating knives. And so, apparently, has this Lily person, so he pretty much goes into a very awkward autopilot. (Hey, he hasn't done this in months.) "...I am Ienzo."

idkkk just going to post. Sorry if I cut off Liz ;_;

He merely went "mmm" at Ciel's words, expression not changing at all. The two of them clearly came from the same place, and knew one another before coming here.. was that a good or a bad thing? Perhaps earlier, he might have said that having others here was good; there was someone you already knew and could confide in. But with the recent events, he was almost pleased that everyone here (with the exception of one) was a stranger to him. That would make it easier to take their deaths...

"...How long have you been here?" The question was now becoming one of habit, even if these people couldn't possibly be more than a few days into their stay. (Lily's exclamation that there were others here would have seemed out of place if they had been around anywhere near as long as he had.)

fff np np I've been horrendously slow lately, so I should be the one saying sorry |D

"We've only just arrived today! It's hardly been an hour, really." The whole situation was incredibly surreal, and Lizzie was eager to find out more about this place that was keeping them captive. She had to help Ciel figure out how to get around this place, after all.

"Have you been here longer than that, Ienzo?"

short post of shortness

Oh, yes. Oh god, yes... "...Around five months."
