Characters: Judas and open
Setting: room 1-10, cafeteria, cathedral, floor 63, floor 12
Format: Starting action but I can match
Summary: Usual newbie stuff
Room 1-10
[After reading the letters set by his bed in confusion, Judas sits up to look around the room. It looks like the other beds are occupied, and the trunk at the foot of his bed is clearly meant for him. He opens it, rifling through to find wine, bread and a familiar suit and set of robes. Definitely a good idea to change. It's hot, his robes would be lighter, although they might be a bit conspicuous in public, and he doesn't want to draw attention. In the end the heat wins out and he changes quickly to leave the room. But first, he has to check if he knows these other people, if anyone from his world was saved. Of course, that means standing over the other beds to scrutinise those sleeping in them.]
Cafeteria
[He knows he should eat the oatmeal, before he forgets, but he really doesn't feel like it. So with a book from the library in front of him, he pokes at the mess in the bowl. Wasting it would be wrong, but if he's not hungry, forcing himself to eat it is also a waste. Maybe he should just give it to someone else?]
Cathedral
[After hearing the faint mumbling of some sort of mass while passing by earlier, Judas returns to the cathedral floor, this time with wine and bread. He saw no one and nothing there, so at the least he could go to listen, and hold his own private communion. He kneels at the altar and bows his head in prayer. For the safety of the world he's left.]
Floor Sixty-Three
[Fishing is a thing Judas likes and would be glad to do. Suddenly falling into a vast expanse of water with fish he doesn't even recognise and is very worried may eat him is not. He struggles against the tide, but his waterlogged robes pull him down, and all he can do is call for help, though he's not so sure anyone will hear him, or care.]
Floor Twelve
[Judas stops dead when he reaches this floor. He wants to believe what seems to be happening all around him is a camera trick, or an animation, maybe something from a movie. But as he watches, it keeps happening, with clearly different worlds each time. If it's a trick, it's terribly elaborate, and as the truth begins to dawn on him, all he can do is weep. Not only the demise of his own world, but so many more. All those people, all their efforts, destroyed in an instant, is too much for him to bear. Especially in knowing somehow he was saved.]

However..she saw that he was trying to avoid looking at her, so she tried..to pat him on the head as she spoke.]
It's nice to meet you then, Judas! I'm Tohko Amano, the book girl. I'm guessing you're the same one from the stories, but don't worry. I'm not going to look down on you or hate you for it.
no subject
...I am, so you should look down on me and hate me.
no subject
No way! I'm not sure of your backstory right now, so I have no idea what it was like for you and the others back then. Besides..if what I know about your past is true, you feel pretty guilty about what happened, right? The fact that you're still putting yourself down is proof of that.

[Shhhh, that's not the point!]
Jesus says he has, but...
no subject
Well, then it's okay then. Jesus has forgiven you, and you see why what you did was wrong, so just learn from your mistake. That, in the end, it what's usually important, if the other person can still forgive you.

Judas, it's pretty hard to forget how you died, especially when your death was violent. After all, I've never been able to forget any instance where I've died here. Plus..for one thing, you are talking about Jesus. I don't think the one in your universe is a horrible person, so it's natural that he would forgive you after awhile. And since you betrayed him, since he's forgiven you, it's alright. You are forgetting an important step though.

[Have another headpat, Judas.]

[And with that, Tohko would take a bite of the oatmeal. As usual, it tasted like sand, but she managed to force herself to hide her reaction to the taste.]
Eat up! I know it may not look that tasty, but you can eat other things afterwards..even if everything is just oatmeal, water, and food made out of nutrition bars.
no subject
[He waves his hands, shaking his head.]
You go ahead, it's not the taste that bothers me, I'm not hungry.

I just don't want to be wasteful, if I don't need it...
no subject
I'm sure you will, since this place can work up an appetite. However..if you don't eat it, won't you be wasting quite a bit of food here? If you don't take care of yourself, you can't help anyone else here.

[Now he's scared. Good work, Tohko. Within a few moments, he's eaten several spoonfulls.]
Do you think that's enough for it to count?
no subject
It might be. You'll have to eat something other than the oatmeal to really check though.
[At that, she ate another spoonfull of oatmeal.]
no subject
[You know, whenever he does eventually eat again. It could be a couple days.]
no subject
It might be, but you should probably finish eating it. That way, you'll get more nourishment in you, and I can tell you what I know about the Tower while you do!
