[The elevator dings as its doors slide open--that's not an unusual occurrence, really, for a floor that not only houses one of the elevator stopping points but also the most reliable food sources. What's unusual, though, is the boy who steps out of it.

Zo enters the cafeteria, looking around as if he hasn't seen it in some time, which is true. He's followed by one retrieval unit. While she looks as blank as any retrieval unit, her collar is chipped and she wears glasses. In fact, she might be a bit familiar to some, though she will not respond (but there's something... Unusually alive about her, even so).

Though he's careful not to stray far from his bodyguard, he smiles at the floor in general.]

Um... Hi! Wow, it's been a while since I've been up here!

[Tohko was running to avoid her stalker drone, in the last few steps of her elevator-ditching method. However, when she stopped into the cafeteria to catch her breath, she didn't expect to see these two. She recognized Zo, and while she didn't know exactly who this drone was..she thought the description Zelda gave her matched this drone. However, she couldn't out that she knew here, so she just smiled at Zo.]

Oh..good morning, Zo! How are you? It's been quite awhile..hopefully you're doing alright.

[Zo smiles back.] I'm doing okay! I like my months. How are you?

[At that, Tohko sighed a little, but she still managed to smile. It was good that he was doing alright, considering the circumstances.]

I'm glad to hear that. If you ever feel sad or anything, don't hesitate to write to me, okay? I won't mind helping you out. I'm doing a bit better now..but I do wish your months would last longer. We all like them up here.

I don't think I can make my months longer than thirty or thirty-one cons--um. Days. But I would if I could!

['cons..'? What did he almost let loose? Tohko looked a little puzzled at that, but she still smiled. It..kind of reminded her of when she sometimes almost let slip her own secret.]

Ah..I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe you could just have your month always last thirty-one days then!

[A small joke on her part.]

I don't mean to be too nosy..but what were you about to say before you cut yourself off? Consumption cycles?

[Zo grins.] Everyone would think I was doing something weird! But--I'm not allowed to talk about that, sorry. Not that, though! I don't know what a consumption cycle would be.

Well, there's nothing wrong with being a little weird! I don't think most people would call me normal either. But that's alright.

[..Maybe if she worked letters into the conversation, she could tell him to mail her the answer.]

A consumption cycle would be a cycle of consuming things. For instance, in The Odyssey, there's a giant who traps Odysseus and twelve of his men. The giant then starts eating them-two in the morning and two at night. That's what I'm talking about.

Sweets are pretty delicious! Although..out of curiosity, does the glamour affect your taste buds too, or can you taste what something actually is?
