Summary: Zo visits the residential levels of the Tower.

[The elevator dings as its doors slide open--that's not an unusual occurrence, really, for a floor that not only houses one of the elevator stopping points but also the most reliable food sources. What's unusual, though, is the boy who steps out of it.

Zo enters the cafeteria, looking around as if he hasn't seen it in some time, which is true. He's followed by one retrieval unit. While she looks as blank as any retrieval unit, her collar is chipped and she wears glasses. In fact, she might be a bit familiar to some, though she will not respond (but there's something... Unusually alive about her, even so).

Though he's careful not to stray far from his bodyguard, he smiles at the floor in general.]

Um... Hi! Wow, it's been a while since I've been up here!

[Was there something else there unspoken? Sephiroth just doesn't know the dynamic all that well to really take a guess. He huffs at Zo's last comment.]

She has a pretty desperate way of showing it. I'm not a toy to be played with.

I don't think she thinks you're toys! Just playmates. But she plays kind of rough, that's all.

[He'd probably play just as rough, all things considered. Difference being Sephiroth doesn't play for apparently no reason.]

I'm not her playmate either. She's really ignorant if she thinks I can accept that.

She's, um... Enthusiastic. [He seems to find Ruana difficult to explain.]

[Sephiroth just shakes his head. Of course how would the kid know all that much about Ruana - she is the eldest if he remembers correctly.]

I guess no one would really know hm? She's quite a bit older than the rest of you, I heard.

[Time to get back to the subject he'd touched on. About the power cores; it bugs him how Zo has pretty much dismissed his question. 'Don't know's aren't convincing.]

So what do you know, about the power cores?

Riki's the oldest, aside from her, so maybe he knows more. [He pauses to consider the cores.] They're in rooms as big as this one, since they're really big. They glow when they're on, but the ones that broke are really dark now. It's really, really hot in the rooms, too--even the ones that are broken are still super hot!

Like any big reactor...

[Sephiroth pauses to consider that. Just how similar could the Mako reactors from his world be anyway? They drew life energy from the Planet and converted it into usable power as well, at least in theory there is a clear correlation there; soul energy is just Lifestream-

His eyebrows furrow just a touch before slipping back into his usual controlled facade.]

So there has to be some energy still residing in them for them to remain hot after breaking...you don't suppose they could meltdown?

[That comment was more to himself than to Zo. Clearly Riki would know more. It's not much of a comforting thought though, Sephiroth imagines Riki has as much of a problem with him as Jason does.]
