Summary: Zo visits the residential levels of the Tower.

[The elevator dings as its doors slide open--that's not an unusual occurrence, really, for a floor that not only houses one of the elevator stopping points but also the most reliable food sources. What's unusual, though, is the boy who steps out of it.

Zo enters the cafeteria, looking around as if he hasn't seen it in some time, which is true. He's followed by one retrieval unit. While she looks as blank as any retrieval unit, her collar is chipped and she wears glasses. In fact, she might be a bit familiar to some, though she will not respond (but there's something... Unusually alive about her, even so).

Though he's careful not to stray far from his bodyguard, he smiles at the floor in general.]

Um... Hi! Wow, it's been a while since I've been up here!

So you're the one keeping peoples souls in too? Geez, you must really have your hands full.

Y'know, I don't really understand this souls business but obviously you do. I guess that's pretty bad of me, back where I came from some people thought that fireflies were souls of the dead. Dunno why though, guess they must look similar.

I would ask but I bet you've never really seen fireflies holed up in a place like this.

I've never seen real fireflies, but I've seen pictures. I don't think we have real fireflies. [He sounds thoughtful.]

[wrigurun]

Really? 'Cause there are lots in-

[But that's all part of the illusion, isn't it? Wriggle gives an annoyed sigh and stares up at the ceiling thoughtfully. No point in making herself depressed when she was just starting to feel better again]

You have seen a real firefly though!

[And she points to her face with both hands and smiles]

You've got one right here!

Oh-- [He brightens.] Yeah! A real firefly! So there is a firefly in the Tower.

[wrigurun]

Sure is!

[Wriggle seems to brighten up as well. Even if he's the one that bought her here he isn't such a bad kid.

Now there's a though...]

But you know, it can get awfully lonely being the only firefly in the tower. Since you're the one that pulls people from their worlds do you think that maybe you could get me a few friends?

[animusnpcs]

[He looks a bit sad, suddenly.] I try to bring in friends for people but I don't get to pick, really. I grab whoever I can. I can't aim it and bad stuff happens if I try.

[wrigurun]

Aim what? I thought bringing people here was like your special power or something. Like you think real hard and they appear.
