Summary: Aleph is in search of something in particular: a Bible. He has no success and eventually retires to the meadow.

[Floor 3]
[The first place to look would of course be the library.

But, it seems that religion and history are intertwined, and the histories of the worlds aren't covered in this library. No matter how hard he searches, Aleph can't find a single religious tract or book of divine scripture.

He's basically going to check every section of the whole library before he gives up, though. It'll take him awhile and make him obviously noticeable.]

[Floor 13]
[Churches generally have religious books in them, don't they? To read from and all.

This one doesn't seem to. It's not a clearly Mesian or Christian church, and he doesn't know well enough to determine if it's anything else, but he thinks its pastors must be hard on their luck if they have to recite everything from memory.

Aleph will turn this floor inside out trying to search, including looking under pews.]

[Floor 19]
[Now, he's pretty sure that this research library doesn't have anything either, but just in case...

He'll go over this entire library section looking, though with less enthusiasm than the other floor's library.]

[Floor 25: afternoon]
[Well that was a waste. Still, it was something to do. And...

Aleph knew vaguely that other worlds had kinder Gods than his had. Different Gods. But he failed completely to understand why they got so upset about the prospect of a different god than theirs being killed. He only sort of knew why Lucifer got such a bad reputation, in the barest possible sense.

He'd been reading books for a year to improve his ability to read, and to not be bereft of all knowledge but how to fight. It seemed time to get around to some of these, if he could find any of them.

Failing that, picking daisies and making them into a flower chain was never a bad use of time.]

B-but... [Sigh. She knows she won't win this, so she just nods.] O-okay, though hopefully we won't have to look for too much longer. Or go to another floor.

It probably won't take more than a few minutes. [Vaguely defining 'a few'.]

Yeah, you're right. And it should be easier to find them as we go along. [Another search, and then she 'Yays'.]

Oh, oh, found another one! Thaaaat's eight now!

[Every little thing counts! And April seems more motivated now as she runs around searching.]

Only a few more and then I can make the charms for everyone! Let's see, let's see...

... Oh, wait, are your demons allergic to flowers or anything? [Just. Have to check.]

No, they're not allergic. [Chuckle.]

Okay, just had to check. It would suck to suddenly have a sneezing fit during a fight.

I don't think they'd accept them in that case.

Mmhm, that's true. So I don't have to worry about sneezing during fights, then!

Though do you know if they have any favorite kinds of flowers?

...I haven't asked them that yet. [He chuckles.]

Hmm, I'll have to guess then. Maybe Lilim would like roses or something like that, though I would need to de-thorn them...

[April mumbles to herself as she searches, though she soon turns towards Aleph.]

... Y-you know that you can go and so something else, r-right? I can deliver these to you later i-if you want.

Do you want me to go away? I can if you want.

Wha- No! I just... I-I just don't want you to feel like you h-have to do this. But if y-you want to stay, I'm more than okay with that.

I'd like to stay. I enjoy spending time with you.

[technologic]

O-okay! I like spending time with you too. [She goes over to give him a kiss on the cheek. And then she spots something on the ground and picks it up.]

Ah, here's another clover! ... Huh, guess you're lucky too.

I guess so. [Kiss on the forehead.]

[April giggles quietly, giving him a quick hug, before she goes back to searching for a few more minutes.]

... Aha, I think I found enough clovers now!

Great! So we can start making the chains?

[technologic]

Yep, we can! And the flowers I'm gonna be using are considered lucky too! [So she quickly goes to gather some of the flowers before taking a seat on the grass.]

Did you want to make some?

[alephbet]

You seem really excited about it. I'll watch you.

[technologic]

All right! Okay, so let's start... [She soon starts working on making the charms, her hands working quickly as she weaves the flowers and clovers together. She finishes after some minutes and grins in triumph as she adds the finals touches to the last charm.]

Annnd done! And they look pretty good, too!

They look really good! Do you have them assigned to each demon?

Yep! I gave each demon a unique flower, along with the lucky flowers and clovers.

[And each charm does have one different flower on it compared to the others.]
