Summary: Aleph and April are getting married. No, they don't care that they're doing it in a horrortower in a Jason month - this is still a celebration.
Warnings: Nothing is likely to come up.

[Two demons guarded the entrance of the crystal caverns: the signs that they were 'dressed up' were the handmade flower crowns that adorned their heads. Upon meeting a guest to the party, one would usher them inside, where a small collection of folding chairs was set out with the requisite aisle in between them.

Other than that, it seemed very simply set up. Aleph and April needed a little time to get ready, so until then, guests would have the opportunity to mingle.]

[ The demons didn't bother Sertoria all that much as she knew everyone was different in the tower. She's dressed rather formally for this occasion, with a black cocktail dress with part of her hair done up in a bun, the rest hanging down. To complete her look, she's wearing her sandals and her visor helps compliment her hair.

She's content to rest against a wall and look at the happy couple, as well as the attendees to the ceremony. ]

[It seemed that Sertoria's sowing skills were much better than chaos's, but he was still happy to see a good friend here at the wedding so he wandered up to her, smiling.]

[ Sertoria had learned a little bit about sewing, especially when it came to mending her own clothes from time to time. She turns her head and waves at chaos, smiling a little bit too wide for just a friend. ]

chaos! I am doing much better today, thank you for asking. How about you?

[chaos had stitched a few things together during his long life..but the technology and the tools when he started or kept on doing it wasn't high enough to actually produce things like Sertoria was wearing. At least, not with his level of skill. chaos caught that smile, but he didn't particularly mind.]

I am glad to hear that. I am doing..rather well today.

[That incident with Rick had shook him up a bit though.]

I hope everything goes smoothly for Aleph.

[ Even though Sertoria was focused primarily on combat, she still had a few tricks up her sleeves regarding other skills. After all, living alone surely helped with that. She felt silly for smiling like this at him, which makes her look slightly bashful. ]

I am happy to hear that you are doing well, chaos, although I am to believe that you may not be well.

[ Being called her designation instead of her reborn name definitely put unease in her, as well as her being wary as to who would abuse her trust. ]

As do I. Hopefully nothing bad happens.

[And it was good that Sertoria did have these tricks up her sleeve, but chaos saw nothing wrong with her smiling at him like that.]

I am alright. I encountered an odd consciousness that knew more than I thought it did, that's all. But hopefully nothing will happen today. I know that Aleph's comrades are strong, and there are enough people here to defend them if something goes amiss.

[ Sertoria's going to try to not feel so awkward, so she'll calm herself by tuning down her emotions just a bit. ]

An odd consciousness...?

[ She taps her cheek slightly at that wording, puzzled on it as she looked around to see if anyone was listening in. When Sertoria confirmed that no one was, she lowered and leaned in slightly. ]

Do you mean a person or an actual consciousness, chaos? But, yes - there are quite a lot of people here to defend the couple, us included.

I mean an odd consciousness that had tied itself to a person and was using him to harm others emotionally. But yes..we need not worry too much about security.

No wonder I felt something off... Patrick is usually a kind, if not nervous, individual, so for him to do a complete change of personality did not make sense to me.

I have only met the person once, but I did not think he was a malicious person or one who liked seeing others in pain. However..it was odd that he knew things that he should not have known about, since I had not told him about those things.

Are you alright though? Hopefully he did not say too much to you.

His words did not have the poison necessary to really make the wound sting, so he did not want to it, yet the consciousness was compelling him to do so. But, I will agree with you that he knew things I only told you and a select few about.

[ At chaos' question, all Sertoria can do is shake her head. ]

I would be lying to you and to myself if I said that I was emotionally okay. He not only knew my designation, but he questioned my ability to develop emotions and called me a robot on top of it. It has happened before, but it did not help the sting I felt hearing it from someone I wanted to be friends with.

The person was exhausted and could not fight back against the monster that overtook him. However, it is sad that he managed to wound you and make it sting. I am sure that he shall apologize when whatever possessed him looses it's grip on him..and I know that you can develop emotions. Artificial humans can do that as well as people can. I am sure that if he were not being controlled, he would state the same thing.

[ It's chaos' rationale that makes her frown at how she treated Rick previously and she lowers her head, sighing softly. ]

I feel bad, chaos. I yelled at him and yet... it was not his fault.

[ A pause. ]

Should I apologize to him, do you think?

[And chaos would just smile a little at that.]

It is a normal reaction, considering what happened. If you feel bad about what happened, you should probably apologize to him. I do not think he shall mind or bear you any ill will.

[ A small grin crosses Sertoria's lips at that. ]
