Summary: Aleph and April are getting married. No, they don't care that they're doing it in a horrortower in a Jason month - this is still a celebration.
Warnings: Nothing is likely to come up.

[Two demons guarded the entrance of the crystal caverns: the signs that they were 'dressed up' were the handmade flower crowns that adorned their heads. Upon meeting a guest to the party, one would usher them inside, where a small collection of folding chairs was set out with the requisite aisle in between them.

Other than that, it seemed very simply set up. Aleph and April needed a little time to get ready, so until then, guests would have the opportunity to mingle.]

[Being April's number one student, Zett was invited to this wedding. Although he may have been awkward around some of the groom's demons (mostly himself) he felt nothing but respect for the groom, and was pretty eager to see the wedding take place already.]

[ The demons didn't bother Sertoria all that much as she knew everyone was different in the tower. She's dressed rather formally for this occasion, with a black cocktail dress with part of her hair done up in a bun, the rest hanging down. To complete her look, she's wearing her sandals and her visor helps compliment her hair.

She's content to rest against a wall and look at the happy couple, as well as the attendees to the ceremony. ]

[It seemed that Sertoria's sowing skills were much better than chaos's, but he was still happy to see a good friend here at the wedding so he wandered up to her, smiling.]

Hello, Sertoria. How are you today?

[chaos had already seen Mara and knew that Aleph's companions were not harmful unless one forced them to be so. While his attire wasn't that different from usual-as he still wore his black bodysuit under everything-he had managed to put together a simple black jacket and pants. It had been awhile since he had made something like this, so the quality wasn't that good, but chaos was more interested in watching the ceremony and speaking with his friends than in his appearance.]

[Naoya hangs around, mostly standing near one of the walls. He has something in his hands, but it's wrapped. He's content to just watch - he's doing his best to not be creepy today.]

[Huuuu...Asako's going to be skedaddling over to a seat and just. Sitting down. She's got her cape on, since this is a formal occasion and all.

...She barely knows either of them, but she can't help being happy for them both. They were both kind people, and deserved some good in their lives. If that means an improvised ceremony in a horrortower, then there'll be an improvised ceremony in a horrortower and she'll attend, if only to see that this was a thing that happened.]

[As Diarmuid and Aleph had discussed on the Network before the wedding, weapons really don't have a place in modern weddings. Armor really doesn't either which is why Diarmuid is dressed in his white dress shirt and black slacks today. The outfit is much more fitting a wedding than his usual wear, Why he would almost look like he fit in, if he didn't seem so nervous.

It wasn't like he had been forced to run off with the bride of the last wedding he'd been to or anything...

He knows that won't happen here, but the odd, slightly out of place feeling does keep him near the back of the room. At the very least, he can keep an eye on the doors just in case there is any trouble. Not that he has any doubt that Aleph's demons can handle things, but it at least gives him something to do until the wedding starts besides worry about foolish things from the past.]

[A young woman with wings and tail approached Diarmuid in the back. The flower crown on her head signified that she was a member of the wedding party, i.e. Aleph's demons.]

You seem ill at ease.

Relax.

[A familiar hand shoved playfully at Diarmuid's shoulder, its owner smirking confidently.]

You're much too tense. As if I won't chase off any horde of raving fangirls that comes by, really.

[Who wears sunglasses to a wedding?]

[And wait a minute...who even invited him?! If he's crashing the party, he at least seems rather polite and quiet about it.]

Ceremony

[When Shiva left his post at the stairs (replaced by Rangda, also in a flower crown), it was time for the ceremony to begin.]

Those who have gathered here, welcome into your midst the bride and groom.

[From deeper in the caverns emerges Aleph first. Rarely seen out of his armor, Aleph is dressed as formally as one can be on limited materials. He makes his way down the aisle and then waits at the front for April to follow after him.]

[April hesitantly follows after him, managing not to anxiously tug at the fabric of the short, white dress that she's wearing. Her hair is also pinned up with some white flowers she had found, and she manages to stop herself from looking completely nervous when she stands next to Aleph, although her face is already completely red.]

[Aleph reaches out to hold April's hand as Shiva goes on.]

The bonds that are made in adversity prove strongest; the vows that are made in times of trouble are unshakable in times of peace. You who have come here today have come to witness these vows, which will bind this man and this woman together as husband and wife.

[Incidentally, Shiva is basically coming up with this on the fly.]

Post-Ceremony

[Now that Aleph and April are well and truly married, they have time to mingle with the guests. Feel free to approach either of them!]

[Naoya heads over to them, handing them a package wrapped in paper. It's not large, but it's also not small.]

Congratulations, you two.

[Aleph couldn't stop smiling if his life depended on it.]

[ Sertoria makes her way over to Aleph and April as she also gives a small gift. It's nothing big, but it's at least something. ]

That was a beautiful ceremony. Thank you both for inviting me.

[And this is a tiny girl in a white sundress...throwing flower petals around to celebrate the wedding going off without a hitch. The flower petals do not seem to have any source.

She is also decorating the floor with flowers. Again, the flowers have no apparent source.

Heck, she even walks over and gives some flowers to the bride and groom. You guessed it - STILL no apparent source.

[When Diarmuid finally approaches them after the wedding, the nervousness he'd had before seems to finally be gone. At the very least, he's no long playing with the ties on the two small leather pouches he carrying in his hands.

It won't do to damage the bride and groom's gifts after all.]

The thing I like about simple ceremonies is that it allows the feelings of those involved shine through. Today, that glow has been blinding. Congratulations to you both.

[Diarmuid bows and holds out one hand with a pouch in it to each of them.]

Re: Post-Ceremony

[Typically, Japanese weddings presents was money for the bride and groom. Considering their was nothing of the sort here (nor would it be worth anything), Naoya opted to do something with paper to keep up with the theme (sort of anyway). When he goes over to congratulate them, a matching pair of origami swans are in his hands.]

Congrats, both of you.

[chaos would attempt to approach both of the couples after the wedding..and hand them both a half of a broken ice-heart. If one tried, they would see that they fit together perfectly, and chaos would attempt to hand the right side to Aleph and the left to April. How had chaos managed to make those so quickly?

By hiding off to the side after the ceremony and quickly using his powers to make something, even if it was rather simplistic. Sure, it would melt away eventually, but that would just symbolize something else about their marriage, if one looked hard enough.]

I know this is not as good as a box of curry, but I am truly happy for the both of you. Hopefully your bond will remain as clear as the ice.

[He hasn't really attended a wedding before. Alternatively, Nils has heard plenty about them from both Ninian and Lyndis. They varied from person to person, culture to culture, so he didn't know what to expect. All he knew that the demons in front of the entrance were quite intimidating. He clutches the invitation in one hand, and a small jar of berries that he'd successfully foraged.

There are chairs off to the side. He thinks he should probably sit down in one. Which he does, and there's a small smile on his face towards the end of the ceremony as he lines up to congratulate the newly-weds.]
