2nd Call - The Archangel's Nightmare

Characters: Lucifel and you
Setting: Various floors; August 14th and 15th
Format: Prose, brackets, whichever you prefer.
Summary: Lucifel dealing with his personal squad of shadow children.
Warnings: Angst, updates if anything changes

This week already had such a twisted and sick start. Actually, Lucifel thought that the whole month was horrible to begin with.

First there was this charred and partly ripped apart bible in his mailbox, one of the horrible gifts that most residents with one have gotten on that Monday. The meaning of it had been clear to him the moment he had seen it and he was far from amused. A metaphor for Him, Him being dead and his words unable to reach the Archangel.

However, the day shouldn't end with that. On the same day three shadow children had started to follow him around. At first he thought nothing of it, feeling like they even were... familiar in a way. Creepy, but familiar still. So he just let them follow him around for the time being, since it didn't seem like they would do any harm. It wasn't until the middle of the week, August 14th, that one of them began to speak to him.

"In the end you left me alone." There was a moment of shock running down his spine as he looked around. No one but the shadow children to be seen, but that voice sounded just like... "Enoch?" The child stepped forward and dropped in front of him. "I thought you would keep your promise to me." Came as a whimper while Lucifel stared at the black figure in horror. "What kind of support are you to leave me here to die?" He shook his head. "It wasn't my choice to come here..." The Shadow-Enoch got up to his feet again and let his head hang down. "But I guess like this you won't have to be scared of me taking your place..." This couldn't be real. This had to be another of Jason's sick games to break them.

It didn't end for Lucifel with that one child speaking to him and repeating his words like a malicious chanting.

On August 15th The original three were joined by two more shadow children, one of them decided to latch itself to Lucifel and hung over his shoulder. By now the remaining original shadow children had started to talk as well. Two of the original ones walked next to him, the Shadow-Enoch was on his left, the other child to his right.

It was the one to his right that spoke to him "Didn't you say that we would always be together since we were born?" I know I did Michael.

"I looked everywhere for you but even though I saw your face everywhere, you weren't here." He had no idea what he was talking about. But the usually not so easily fazed Lucifel slowly became more and more restless... and there was a reason why.

"Now you abandoned me like they have, Luci..." I haven't. I never would. This shadow child walked in front of him as it continued to speak.

"I had so high expectations of you... All for nothing." It shook its head as if it was greatly disappointed. I would never let You down.

"You had one job Luci. And you didn't even get that done." Lucifel swallowed. No. He had done what he had been told. And still does.

"I don't see how this doesn't make you a Fallen one as well. It was you who killed me, the Almighty." It turned to look at the archangel, like it wanted to intimidate him. "Stop it..." He didn't kill Him. He didn't kill God.

Without noticing the color of his collar turned into lighter shades of violet.

Sadly, if chaos were to peek into the minds of Lucifel's shadows, he still wouldn't be able to tell who they were. Not that chaos would.

"Perhaps closing the elevator door on them quickly enough would give you some peace and quiet." As chaos spoke, his group of six shadow children wandered up to him, having finally found him. Inwardly, he sighed as Shadow Jr. spoke to him.

"Man, I always knew you were ambiguous, but lying is a new low for ya. Not that it doesn't suit you. You did do a lot of terrible things to us and everyone else in our universe."

The truth wasn't always pleasant to know, so some avoided it..but it was probably impossible to evade it forever, especially here.

"Probably not, but might give you some relief from them, at least for a little while. Pardon my asking, but can you teleport?"

If he could, chaos could stop worrying about whether this person could sense his powers. If he couldn't..he was in a bit of trouble.

Which was why it was usually best to seek it out. Jump to meet it instead of run away from it.

"I see..it is a good skill to usually have here. Even if it can make one tired sometimes."

"Just like you, ya lazy bum. If you hadn't slept so much, we might have been able to get a few more things accomplished." "Indeed. The plot is much easier to move when the characters are not lazing about."

Inwardly, chaos sighed as Shadow Jr. and Wilhelm spoke up again, but, as usual, he ignored them. Speaking to them would only further hurt him and make this person curious as to what they were saying.
