Characters: Kachessa and Lightning
Setting: Floor 99, the crystal cavern
Format: Starting in action, I will stick with whatever you choose!
Summary: Two women meet under fire from monsters in an otherwise beautiful place. Too bad they can't relax. [Closed]
Warnings: None as of yet, will be updated
[Crystal is said to purify, to cleanse the body of toxins and sins through magic. So it's entirely ironic that now Kachessa is fighting for her life here, with monsters around them. Yes, them. She'd only just met the other woman, but here they are, fighting together.]
I can't say this is how I would like to introduce myself.
[Luckily, the creatures, while numerous, don't seem too dangerous. The Miniblins are going down quickly between the other woman and Kachessa's own knife.]

No time for complaining.
[She said as she raised her shielded arm to her ear, soon flinging a Ruinga in the midst of the mass Miniblins and knocking one into the air with one upward swing of her gunblade. Though in the end, she had to silently agree. Soldier priorities, this one has.]

[She'd been trying to be friendly, but the other woman has a point. No real time to relax, focus on the enemies. Especially since Kachessa only has the knife and her own to legs, unlike the other woman. But she's managing, even if she's been bitten a few times by the creatures. Luckily, it seems the group is starting to thin. ...Not that it's saying much.]

The fact she only has a knife for a weapon doesn't escape Lightning's notice. She twirls her blade once, switching to accommodate this tactic.]
Just survive.
[A green mist falls over Kachessa before she switches tactics again, provoking much of the horde to go after her instead and raising her blade to block their blows to the best of her ability. This should give her some time to take out a couple more before another inevitable switch.]

[And Kachessa will be quite surprised at the spell. Mainly because she wasn't aware Lightning had healing magic on her side. That's good to know, it means they're a little less likely to die. The good news with these creatures, too, is that they're relatively weak, and a well-placed slash or stab will take them out easily. Kachessa is doing well enough on her own, especially now that Lightning is drawing most of the attention. The crowd is thinning out well enough, it's looking like they'll survive.]

Still, she seemed to take the healing spell well. When the attacks slowed somewhat, she switched tactics again. This time the wind picked up, creating slashes and cuts into flesh as she strikes only the one directly in front of her. So long as new ones don't arrive, they may well just make it through instead of reawakening in their rooms the next day.]

[Now that there's considerably less monsters, Kachessa is comfortable complimenting the other woman. She's still taking down her own monsters, and she seems to be doing fine. Her unnatural strength is helping, with kicks sending the creatures flying into walls or simply crunching them under foot.]

[Well... at least for someone ill-equipped. Monsters not shredded to pieces by her attacks or wind soon find a Ruinga in midst of them, exploding upon impact.]
