Summary: The event is over and everyone who was stuck in the dorms needs a serious bath.
Warnings: Post-event shenanigans? Also baths so p much everyone is at least partially naked.

And so now that you've made your way free of the hell that is the dorm rooms -

This floor mimics a sauna--there are three entrances: one for men, one for women, and one for mixed. Inside each room is the wooden interior one would expect. Outside each area is a small changing room with lockers--if you look, you'll find one with your name on it. The locker will only open up for you. It might be a good place to store things, actually...

- it's time for everyone to take a bath! There's both hot, steamy stalls and large hot spring pools - but you'd better hurry! It's gonna get crowded in here kind of fast.

And hey, keep that towel closed, there's children in here!

[ Urotsuki looks more considerably hollow - even compared to her usual blank self - today as she's wandering around the locker rooms, already wearing a towel. When she hears the guy speak up though, she slowly blinks, her reaction even more delayed than usually. ]

Seven..? Seven.. what..?

[bowandblade]

[He's probably a little slower on the uptake than usual himself because of the ... lethargy connected to being stuck in a room for so long, but he's not so inattentive that he doesn't notice that odd expression.

So he walks on over towards her.]

It is a lucky number in some places. Are you familiar with that idea?

[chainsawn]

[ Apparently even less up to speaking like she usually is, Urotsuki just shakes her head and folds her arms around her. ]

[bowandblade]

[He hums and tilts his head at the lack audible response, watching Urotsuki fold her arms before he takes his hands and settles them on her head.]

You are not looking well, little one. [His smile hasn't yet faded, but it is smaller than before.] Come on now. Do not clam up.

[chainsawn]

... It's.. because the hospital's here..

[ Even though they obviously aren't in a hospital. But still, she sounds serious, her tone quiet, even if it's already that way most of the time. ]

I want it to go away.

[bowandblade]

[Another hum, this time thoughtful as he figures out what she's referring to. His expression sours, but he doesn't remove his hands from her hair.]

Ah, the noises from up there. Yes, they were very irritating. But they were not real.

[chainsawn]

N.. no. It's real.. the hospital is real.. [ Maybe not the one from back there, maybe not the one from her dreams, but it is real, it was real, it's real back home if back home even exists. That hospital where she felt like her world shattered, where she couldn't stop thinking "if only I killed him myself.."

Her body shakes at the memory - he can feel it if he still has his hands there. ]

[bowandblade]

[He pets Urotsuki's hair as he listens to her mumble, then clucks his tongue.]

Are you referring to something back in your world? Any hospital there would be destroyed -- very much destroyed.

[Not exactly comforting, but what else can he say?]

Have you ever been to a hospital..?

[ She has to ask him. Maybe he just doesn't get since he's never been to one. Granted, it's more just that she has much more of a hospital trauma than other people so she reacts to them much worse, but it's not like she can comprehend it that easily. ]

[bowandblade]

I have been in one, yes.

[Come on, little one. He'll pick her up and carry her over to a bench -- because that's simpler than guiding her over.]

Not for long, of course.

[chainsawn]

[ At least it's easy to pick her up. Even if Gilgamesh wouldn't be.. well, Gilgamesh, Urotsuki's not tall at all and pretty light, not to mention she doesn't resist at all. She's like some sort of limp doll until he puts her down on the bench. ]

They aren't nice places.. I hate hospitals. It's where.. life ends..

[bowandblade]

Life ends everywhere. [He tilts his head at the little girl, a little curious about the topic.]

Was that where you were, before here?

[chainsawn]

One time before.

I saw it in my dreams, but.. I've been there before when I was awake. Since he was in the hospital. [ She just starts rambling, as if she isn't even explaining it to him anymore at this point, but that she's rather just saying it out loud to herself. ] I was there multiple times, but it was that one time. Someone very important was there, someone very important to me, and I went to visit him even when he got stuck there, but then one night while I was there with him, he said he wasn't going to get better. It hurt, he said, he said it hurt so much, that he wanted it to end, he told me to end it, he begged me, Urotsuki do it do it do it..

[ Her eyes glaze over, like she's caught in the memory of it all, her voice slowly turning more and more pained ]

[bowandblade]

[His head tilts just a little more as he realizes that Urotsuki isn't really talking to him so much as pouring out her thought, but he remains quietly intrigued.]

Do it... Do it? [His lips purse in thought, and then he frowns.]

You were begged to deal with someone's weakness.

[chainsawn]

He wanted to die.

[ As if she doesn't get his wording on the matter - like she thinks she has to clarify. ]

He wanted me to kill him. But.. I... .. I couldn't do it.

[bowandblade]

[...]

It was idiotic of him to tell you to do such a thing.

[Not that it would change the situation, but he had to voice his opinion.]

[chainsawn]

[ For a moment she's quiet, her eyelids lowered so much that her eyes almost look like they're closed. Then she slowly speaks up though. ]

"Idiotic"..?

[bowandblade]

Idiotic.

[Archer repeats it with a nod, his attention focused on Urotsuki.]

In his desperation, in his madness, he threw away any care he had for you and thought only of ending his own pain.

[It's a remarkably somber response, coming from him.]

[chainsawn]

But.. he was hurting. And he wanted the person he liked the most to make it stop for him, since he trusted.. me.

[ That's what she thinks about it in her head, at least. And what she's relived so many times in her dreams. ]

That's why I always thought I should just have done it back there..

[bowandblade]

[How to phrase this in a way that a child would understand...]

Do you think he would not have asked anyone else if they were available? If he asked you to kill him -- you, who you say he liked the most -- he was not going to keep living for anyone else.

[chainsawn]

If.. he wanted someone else to do it, he would've asked them..

[ But the problem with it is already in what he's saying. If they were available. But it was night and late and even the night nurse was probably taking a break.

She was the only one there.

Maybe she's realising that. Slowly. ]

[bowandblade]

[He doesn't know the context. In a way, he doesn't need to know; he's already reached a conclusion in that way that he usually did. He's already decided this guy did something idiotic.

Urotsuki's phrasing allows him to ask the next question.]

Was there someone else with you?

[chainsawn]

[ Slowly she shakes her head. ]

No one. It was just.. me. [ Like usually. Except he was still there back then. ]

[bowandblade]

[He turns around Urotsuki's earlier words.]

If he wanted someone else to do it, they were not available to ask. Desperate, he turned to ask you for death.

[chainsawn]

So.. [ ... the word hangs in the air for a few moments, like she's trying to decide what exactly this means, trying to draw a conclusion from it. But it's all so personal and difficult to understand that she just turns to him again. ]
