Characters: Miles Edgeworth and you!
Setting: Media room, afternoon
Format: Action but I'll match.
Summary: Edgeworth regained some Steel Samurai DVDs and is trying (and failing) to watch them in peace.
Warnings: None yet.
[So, guys, when you walk into the media room, you will see some figure wrapped in some blanket, sitting on one of the couches, watching what looks like some children’s show. It involves some tin-looking man with a spear fighting some dude in purple. With silly stunts and special effects and stuff. With the tin man shouting things like “Samurai punch!,” and “Samurai chop!” and the dude in purple either making trademark evil villain laughs or going, "Curse you, Steel Samurai!"
And no, the guy in the blanket is totally not Edgeworth. And no, he has totally not wrapped the blanket all over himself to make it look like a cloak. And no, he totally has not used some piece of string to keep the ‘cloak’ from slipping.
And no, he does not pull the cloak over his face every time someone enters the room so that nobody recognises him.
You are all clearly delusional.]

[This of course means that Rick needs to go investigate. He stands behind the mysterious cloaked figure (who seems entirely too old for the film being watched) and observes the antics of the main characters with a growing smile and the occasional amused chuckle.]
[Whoever put this in might not like his hovering, though, so after a few minutes of this Rick decides it would be best to make sure: ]
...You, ah...d-d-don't m-mind if I j-join, do you?

Time to pull something off so that Mr. Dawn does not recognise him. Put on an accent? The first one that comes to his head is that of a certain female photographer...]
Er....sure thing. If, y...er...ya don't mind, I'll be going...goin' in a sec.
[Oh god, that is not a good accent and he knows it. Why is he doing this? God, why doesn't Mr. Dawn get out of the room?]

[That being said, the poor fellow seems really uncomfortable about being called out. Rick's found something else to be flustered with!]

U-um....I have absolutely no idea. [Liar. The bunch of DVDs is lying right beside him and the title pretty much says: 'Steel Samurai The Warrior Of Neo Olde Tokyo Volume 1']

Steel Samurai, The Warrior of Neo Olde Tokyo. Huh! This looks like one of Japan's TV shows; is it? Can I watch it with you?

[Short, sweet, to the point, and right behind you Edgeworth]
I sincerely hope this disguise of yours wasn't meant seriously, because your understanding of the concept is mildly terrifying if that is in fact the case.

/late and sheepish tag?
He's kinda just...enthralled with what's on the screen. Because it's neat but at the same time...hilariously inaccurate in places.
The redhead leans on the back of one of the couches, grinning.]
Man, Yuu'd get a kick out of this. [Probably in the wrong way, the Japanese swordsman was touchy about those things.]
No worries.
Trying not to let Lavi see his face, he glances straight at the floor's exist. Maybe he can sneak out and come back later?]

Still clad in that bedamned Raven uniform, Reno crept slowly toward Edgeworth, trying to see if he could catch sight of the man's face. He isn't really trying, however, just playing around.
Besides, the samurais kicking around reminds him of those awful kids shows they used to play in Midgar and Junon when he was younger. It's kinda nostalgic, in a way.]

this...is definitely new. the only way she can distinguish it as a children's show is because of the oversimplified dialogue. still, it's colorful and full of relatively harmless fights, so her curiosity is piqued.
as she comes around the other side of the couches, she notices the cloaked figure. he doesn't feel like that stranger from her first day here - no darkness. she doesn't say anything for a while, sitting down and watching.
she even gets into it a little. but sometimes she feels like she's missing things - maybe it's something one has to watch in order.]
Excuse me- [there's no one else to ask, and as far as she can tell, the stranger is watching, too:] -I'm a bit lost. How does the Pink Princess come into this?

it's so...
amusing...
Slowly he creeps forward, eyes glued to the TV. He doesn't know what it is, except that it's playing some kind of story, and he wants to watch more of it.
Wordlessly he sits down on the other end of the couch, eyes transfixed to the TV. Normally he would have said something to indicate his presence, but this time he's distracted by the shiny pictures.]
Sorry this is late.

I can't resist it's Steel Samurai
This is like Phoenix Ranger Featherman R. I didn't know we had other sentai shows to watch.
[Personally he was more into videogames than television but this would be a good way to unwind before going to be--wait who was the guy in the cloak.]
You alright?
[Are you sick?]
Sorry this is late!
no worries that icon more than makes up for it.
