Characters: Zelos and his hunnies everyone!
Setting: Cafeteria, Floor 4, Floor 82, and Room 2-16
Format: Brackets, but will match
Summary: The Great Zelos arrives.
Warnings: None, except being a huge flirt.
Cafeteria:
[The food here was nothing more than edible (quite frankly, that was putting it kindly). Zelos wasn't sure what had prompted all of their cooks to suddenly start substituting pumpkin for everything; it seemed like a culinary choice inspired by Raine herself. But, even bad food could be made better with good company, and that's just what Zelos set out to find.]
[Whether it was a wistful gaze across the room, or a smooth pickup line, Zelos is going around the cafeteria trying to find a lady that he is worthy enough to dine with.Guys are probably okay, too, but he's not going to approach them first. :|.]
Floor 4:
[Zelos is lounging on one of the couches, looking out the window. It was certainly a pleasant sight outside; for the life of him, he couldn't think of any time he'd ever seen this much fog. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't seem to see anything beyond the fog. But, the other person in the room seemed to be looking out of the window too, like they were in thought.]
[Maybe this person would be able to help him gather information on the tower; he'll walk up beside them, and try to spark up a conversation.]
Cheery, huh?
Floor 82:
[He needed somewhere to go to cope with the news of his world being destroyed, and the masquerade on floor 82 seemed like the most fitting choice. As he danced through the room it was hard to believe he wasn't still home; this ball could have just as easily been hosted by some bigwig back in Meltokio.]
[He seems to be moving through the crowd fluidly and switching partners often, but he certainly wouldn't mind a new partner; and he certainly isn't going to be shy about asking any of the lovely maidens on this floor to dance. In fact, it looks like someone new has just entered the floor, and it would be a shame if he passed this opportunity up.]
[He'll walk up, bow, and offer his hand.]
May I have this dance?
Room 2-16:
[Any day at Animus is long and tiring; whatever time he spends back at the room he's going to spend lounging on his bed or sleeping. His roommates or neighbors are still free to approach him.But don't be surprised if he's less receptive to you than anyone else he's talked to that day.]

It isn't that bad. [The ponytailed individual in the green and black suit shrugged, adjusting the sunglasses on his head.] The sky back home had a terrible habit of being dreary and miserable. I could just be used to it
[Judging by his accent, Waver was referring to somewhere in England--not that Zelos would have had any idea where that was, of course. He glanced over his shoulder, casting an analytical look at the Chosen before continuing.]
I don't believe we've met.
floor 4
[The distinct layer of clouds was better than the purple haze of impending death, if only by a little bit.]
The Great Zelos Wilder, new arrival. Been here awhile?

Lord El-Melloi the second, Waver Velvet. Just call me Waver, it's shorter. To answer your question, I've regrettably been here for quite a few months.

So, do you know what's up with this place, then?
no subject
...To a point, yes. There's only so much one can know about this lovely little hellhole at the moment.

Mods aren't keen on giving out information?
no subject
Not particularly, no. One or two of them aren't entirely obstructive, but gathering information's still like pulling goddamn teeth.
no subject
Lovely. This place just keeps getting better and better.
no subject
You have no idea. [Shrugging in resignation, Waver lit a cigarette before folding his arms.]
So, since I'm clearly stuck being the welcome wagon today, where should we begin?
no subject
Whatever we're supposed to know the least about.

I'd call that one a bit difficult to determine. Let's start with the bit about your whole body being a false construct to hold what's loosely defined as one's soul. Whatever your definition or classification of the word, that seems to be the only thing real about us or indeed about most of the tower itself.
...I probably should have asked you to sit down first. Most people understandably don't take that well.
no subject
Nothing worse than what I've heard before.
[It's not like he once almost got his body possessed because of a mentally unstable 4000-year kid who couldn't accept his sister was dead or anything.]
Tower have a soul, too?
no subject
[There was a pause, almost as though Waver intended to leave it at that. After a moment (maybe he actually had to consider the possibility) he spoke up again.]
...It wouldn't surprise me.
no subject
[There had to be more than that, though.]
Any other advice for a newbie?

Mods are really powerful, huh?
