Summary: Zett gathers and eats mushrooms for science. He's also willing to share.

[Floor 61]
["Many mushrooms grow on this floor. It is unknown if they are edible or not."

That was what the guide to the tower said, and Zett was just bored enough to decide to make a helpful contribution. Perhaps they would kill him unpleasantly, but his death would help people in the future to not die. Perhaps they would be incredibly tasty and a good source of food during Jason months. It was hard to tell, with the tower.

Careful to avoid all the pits on this floor, Zett gathers up as many mushrooms as he can. Just one wouldn't be enough to know for sure how dangerous these mushrooms were - if the first one didn't kill him, he'd have to test another.

Zett isn't actually going to eat on this floor (too dangerous with the pits around), so other residents will just encounter him picking mushrooms and gathering them in a box.]

[Dormitory Floors]
[When Zett gets back to the dorm floors, it's finally time to test the mushrooms for deadliness. Setting the box on the ground, Zett picks up one mushroom and munches on it.

It's delicious. Zett finishes it quickly and waits for any side effects.

Gradually he notices that his vision is going a little... weird. Colors are changing. The doors are starting to morph into shapes that clearly wouldn't fit a person through them, unless they were a very strangely formed person. He feels kind of... melty.

Huh.

Zett picks up his box of mushrooms and walks around the dormitories, occasionally stumbling as the ground doesn't feel right. When he spots other people, he'll smile and wave and tell them something like,] Did you know you're leaving a trail of light behind you? [After a moment, he'll add.] That could be the mushrooms, though.

Maybe... Show me where they are showing, I can not see them. [Mainly because her skin is changing color oops.]

Well, there's some on your arms. [He pokes her in the arm where he sees a symbol.]

[There's a quiet 'eep' when he pokes her in the arm, before she squints at the area he poked at.] Huh... I think I see it. Though are my wings out too?

Not yet. I bet they'd be prettier than normal if they were.

[papillonmagique]

That would be something, since they are not pretty at all. But... [She rolls her shoulders as her wings appear, and she squints at them over her shoulder.] ... They certainly look weirder than normal.

I like them!

[He tries to rub his face on one of her wings. Zett stop you're embarrassing.]

[papillonmagique]

[He'll find that they're perfectly solid, despite how they look, and he's able to rub his face on one of them. However, Zoe reacts to this by squeaking loudly as her face turns red.]

W-w-w-w-what are you doing?!

I'm touching your wings. You can touch mine if you want.

[papillonmagique]

[Her wings twitch slightly as she blinks, her face still red.]

A-ah... I guess that would be fair.

[belzebul]

[Zett takes a step back, and transforms into his more buglike form, which thankfully he can still do while hallucinating.]

Hmm, I guess six arms do look strange.

[papillonmagique]

[Zoe stares at him for a second. Then she bursts into laughter.]

Especially when I am high enough to make it look like they are wiggling around.

What if I actually wiggle them? What then?

[He wiggles his arms for realz, yo.]

[papillonmagique]

[That makes her laugh even harder.]

Ehehe, that looks so strange!

Heh, you are very good at that. Though sadly the hallucinations have stopped your arms from wiggling now.

[He leans against her wing again.]

[She manages not to squeak this time, but she does still tense up for a second before relaxing again.]

... I am surprised though. Since I never thought a demon would like my wings.

Why not? They look cool and they don't have a skull and crossbones on them.

I always thought they looked weird, since they are not your typical angel wings. And I happen to think the skull and crossbones suit your wings.

Angels in my world have all kinds of wings. -Thanks. [Zett looks a little embarrassed.]

[She grins, and since he said she can touch his wings, she reaches up to touch said pattern lightly.]
