Characters: Yotsuba Koiwai and you!~
Setting: Dorm room 1-03 and the dorm floors.
Format: Prose, but I'll match you.
Summary: A very shaken Yotsuba returns the the Tower and tries to find the people she knew so that she can 'warn' them and get some answers as to what happened to her.
Warnings: Yotsuba will be crying here. Seeing a dead father that you love dearly will do that. Information as to what she saw can be found on her profile.

When Yotsuba woke up, she wasn't expecting to be in a bed. Scared, she sat up and tried to think as to where she was, since she had forgotten a little bit, since so much time had passed, and since she had seen so many terrifying things. Remembering, and not bothering to read the the notes she had been given or look in her trunk, she got out of bed and carefully wandered into the hall. Her destroyed world had been terrible..and lonely. She didn't want her Daddy to be like that! She didn't want it at all..so she had to tell everyone so that they could come up with a plan and help him!

But just thinking about it had started to make her cry, and she didn't stop as she rushed about the dorm hallways, crying out, hoping to find someone she knew. Of course, if she bumped into someone else, that would be nice too, but..right now, her mind was going to the people here she knew and loved.

"L-Luci! Dia?! E..Enoch?! Zett! Romeo?! Mr..Mr Edgey?! Rick?! Are you guys here?! Help!"

Of course, to people she hadn't met, she would just look like a scared little kid that had just arrived. To people that knew her though..this would be a bittersweet homecoming of sorts.

And sadly, Yotsuba was running around too quickly to really stop for anyone that was in the middle of her path. But at least she had found someone that she was looking for! So, quickly, Yotsuba tried to hug his legs and sobbed.

"Mr. Edgy...that was bad! It was super scary and Daddy and Fuka and Ena and Asagi and Mommy were dead and their bodies were weird and smelled really bad! We can't leave them like that, or they'll die again and I'll be sad and lonely! Did you know about them?! How can we help?!"

Unfortunately, 'Mr. Edgy' did not take in Yotsuba's words at first as the moment Yotsuba tried to hug him, he tried and failed to move his leg out of the way before Yotsuba put her arms around it. He was not used to physical contact further than a handshake and therefore could not help but give a little yelp of shock.

While Yotsuba was distraught right now, she heard that yelp, even if she wasn't quite sure if he was trying to get away from him. In response, Yotsuba just hugged Edgeworth's leg tighter and wept on his pants leg, shaking her head as she cried.

"What's wrong, Edgy?! Did..did you see the bodies too?! They're hor..horrable and smelly and wrong and lonely! We hafta help them..we hafta, or we'll be alone again, and it's sad and bad and scary! Do you know how we can help them?! Please..tell me!"

Edgeworth was about to ask Yotsuba, politely, that she let go of his pants leg, but.....she was crying. She was distressed. What was this about dead bodies?

...Did she say that 'Daddy' was dead?

"....Sorry, Yotsuba, did you say....you saw dead bodies when you, er....went back home?"

That was probably too direct a question for a small child, but Edgeworth had heard so many accounts of people who 'disappeared' to go back to their home worlds and returned. The dead bodies was new information, though, and he wanted to find the truth, which, unfortunately, was not always pleasant.

While the statement wasn't too direct, the fact that Edgeworth didn't seem to know about the dead bodies just upset Yotsuba more, as the grown-ups were supposed to know about these things! After all, if they didn't..then everyone would die and everyone else would be lonely! It would be sad and scary and bad!

So, still crying-and using Edgeworth's pants to wipe off her tears sometimes-she spoke, nodding her head.

"Yotsuba did! And it as hor..horrable and scary and we have to do something, Edgy! Or they're all gonna die when the worlds are fixed, and Yotsuba's gonna be alone again! I don't want Daddy to die! I don't want a future like that at all.."

So.....this poor girl had not only seen her dead home, just like Ryoji, but the bodies of her friends and her father? How terrible. Edgeworth had no idea what this meant but Yotsuba was clearly distressed.

The prosecutor put a hand in his coat pocket and took out a clean paper napkin he took to the kitchen. Then, he bent down and handed it to Yotsuba. The poor girl had just seen her father's body and Edgeworth knew exactly what it was like to lose a father so suddenly when you are still a child. "Here, Yotsuba. You might want to dry your eyes with this."

It was better than drying them on his pants, anyway.

While Yotsuba meant exactly what she was saying, it was a little hard to decipher for people who didn't know much of what lay back home. When Edgeworth bend down, Yotsuba had to let go of his legs, but she nodded and accepted the napkin he offered, wiping her eyes and blowing her nose on it. Not that it really stopped her from crying, but she was starting to calm down a little.

"Okay..but how can we help everyone, Edgy?! I don't wanna see that again..I don't want Daddy and everyone else to be like that! It's really scary and bad! And I don't want you or Luci or Enoch or Dia or anyone else to be lonely either! So what can we do?!"
