Yotsuba and...

Characters: Yotsuba Koiwai and you!~
Setting: Dorm room 1-03 and the dorm floors.
Format: Prose, but I'll match you.
Summary: A very shaken Yotsuba returns the the Tower and tries to find the people she knew so that she can 'warn' them and get some answers as to what happened to her.
Warnings: Yotsuba will be crying here. Seeing a dead father that you love dearly will do that. Information as to what she saw can be found on her profile.

When Yotsuba woke up, she wasn't expecting to be in a bed. Scared, she sat up and tried to think as to where she was, since she had forgotten a little bit, since so much time had passed, and since she had seen so many terrifying things. Remembering, and not bothering to read the the notes she had been given or look in her trunk, she got out of bed and carefully wandered into the hall. Her destroyed world had been terrible..and lonely. She didn't want her Daddy to be like that! She didn't want it at all..so she had to tell everyone so that they could come up with a plan and help him!

But just thinking about it had started to make her cry, and she didn't stop as she rushed about the dorm hallways, crying out, hoping to find someone she knew. Of course, if she bumped into someone else, that would be nice too, but..right now, her mind was going to the people here she knew and loved.

"L-Luci! Dia?! E..Enoch?! Zett! Romeo?! Mr..Mr Edgey?! Rick?! Are you guys here?! Help!"

Of course, to people she hadn't met, she would just look like a scared little kid that had just arrived. To people that knew her though..this would be a bittersweet homecoming of sorts.

Romeo hurried up to catch her and nodded, "We can, we can put it in his mail box!"

"Right! And he and everyone else in the group can help out the grown-ups! It'll work!"

And when the elevator finally opened, Yotsuba rushed in and waited for Romeo to enter before smacking the button for the twenty-fifth floor.

Romeo grinned and nodded, following her into the elevator, and sitting down on the floor. The elevator took a really long time.

Yotsuba, on the other hand, would remain standing as the elevator ran down. However, she was a little puzzled as to why Romeo was sitting, so she asked about it.

"Why are you sitting, Romeo? Are you tired?"

[myblueskies]

"No." He shook his head, "I just don't like standing up in here, it makes me feel all funny."

[sunflowerfairy]

"Really?! It feels like you're floating, and it's nice!"

Then again, Yotsuba tended to enjoy most everything.

"Really? I never floated before! So I guess I didn't know what it felt like." He smiles at her though he didn't stand up.

[sunflowerfairy]

"Really?! You're not a good swimmer either, Romeo?!"

Not that it really surprised her that much..Daddy and Jumbo were both terrible at swimming. It was just interesting to meet yet another person that couldn't swim. If she knew of the swimming pool, she would be happy to offer lessons, but she couldn't quite remember it off the top of her head.

"I am a really really good swimmer!" He told her, "But swimming isn't like floating!"

"But you can float on the water! Standing in the elevator is like that!"

[myblueskies]

"But swimming doesn't make my tummy feel funny!" He pointed out, but if Yotsuba could be brave enough to stand up, so could he!

[sunflowerfairy]

And Yotsuba would smile as Romeo stood up to face the elevator. The machine would probably open up soon, but it was good that he was standing up!

"But the elevator doesn't make my tummy feel funny either!"

[myblueskies]

"You must have a really strong stomach then." He told her, standing as straight as he could.

[sunflowerfairy]

"Maybe! I don't really know! I can't really fight!"

Yotsuba, of course, was thinking of strength in terms of how well one could fight bad guys.

[myblueskies]

"There's lots of different ways to be strong Yotsuba!" He smiled at her encouragingly.

[sunflowerfairy]

"Really?! Like what? Yotsuba doesn't know!"

And Yotsuba would just return Romeo's smile with a happy, excited grin.

[myblueskies]

"Like um... when your stomach is strong it means you don't get sick a lot and you can be feelings strong. So even when really bad things happen you can keep going and keep your spirits up." He nodded with another grin.

[sunflowerfairy]

While Yotsuba understood being strong against sicknesses, being feelings strong was a new thing. It sounded like being brave.

"Like being brave?! And it's fine to cry when you're scared sometimes! Even grown-ups do it, so it's fine! Luci said so!"

[myblueskies]

"Just like being brave." He grinned and then nodded, "That's right, it's okay to cry but you got to keep on going anyways! Even when you are scared and crying, that's what being feelings strong means!"

[sunflowerfairy]

"That's what Dia said too..but there's nothing bad about crying when you're really scared and then going on, right?!"

At least..she thought that there wasn't anything wrong with that, but she wanted to know.

[myblueskies]

Romeo thought about that and then nodded, "Yep that's alright, as long as you do go on, because that's the important bit!"

[sunflowerfairy]

At that, Yotsuba happily smiled and pumped a fist in the air. Being brave and being like grown-up was really confusing-especially when you were really sad-so it was good that it was actually okay to cry! She would have to tell Dia later! Maybe he didn't know, since he hadn't told her!

"Oh! Okay then! Yotsuba will do that from now on and be a b..better support! And I'll tell Dia too! I don't think he knows!"

Romeo grinned and nodded, "I think mister Diarmuid already knows because he's a great knight and knights know stuff like that." But it might be a good idea to remind him. Adults forgot things like that a lot.

[sunflowerfairy]

"I know he's a great knight, but he didn't say that it was okay to cry and move on! He said that sometimes you had to go on without crying and be brave! But you can be brave and cry!"

[myblueskies]

"Oh. Maybe he doesn't know then!" Romeo nodded, "You should definitely tell him!"
