Yotsuba and...

Characters: Yotsuba Koiwai and you!~
Setting: Dorm room 1-03 and the dorm floors.
Format: Prose, but I'll match you.
Summary: A very shaken Yotsuba returns the the Tower and tries to find the people she knew so that she can 'warn' them and get some answers as to what happened to her.
Warnings: Yotsuba will be crying here. Seeing a dead father that you love dearly will do that. Information as to what she saw can be found on her profile.

When Yotsuba woke up, she wasn't expecting to be in a bed. Scared, she sat up and tried to think as to where she was, since she had forgotten a little bit, since so much time had passed, and since she had seen so many terrifying things. Remembering, and not bothering to read the the notes she had been given or look in her trunk, she got out of bed and carefully wandered into the hall. Her destroyed world had been terrible..and lonely. She didn't want her Daddy to be like that! She didn't want it at all..so she had to tell everyone so that they could come up with a plan and help him!

But just thinking about it had started to make her cry, and she didn't stop as she rushed about the dorm hallways, crying out, hoping to find someone she knew. Of course, if she bumped into someone else, that would be nice too, but..right now, her mind was going to the people here she knew and loved.

"L-Luci! Dia?! E..Enoch?! Zett! Romeo?! Mr..Mr Edgey?! Rick?! Are you guys here?! Help!"

Of course, to people she hadn't met, she would just look like a scared little kid that had just arrived. To people that knew her though..this would be a bittersweet homecoming of sorts.

[Hey hey hey, don't get his hair wet Zett, will you? But it got Yotsuba to smile, so mission complete.]

It's a water gun. And sure, try as much as you want.

[He handed her the water gun then.]

*Enoch chuckles at their antics, lowering his hand to rest in the water again.*

Make sure you hold onto the edge or someone else when you use it.

*He doesn't want Yotsuba going under for anything. But she's a remarkably good swimmer for her age, to tread water like this.

Never mind that this judgment comes from a man who can't swim.*

The edge would be better.

[Don't bring him under! Even though he can swim, he's not particularly fond of it.

Flies.]

[And Yotsuba would happily take the water gun and try to fill it up with water, all while holding on tightly to Enoch with her free hand. On her first try, the water just spilled out, with annoyed her, but she managed to figure it out on the second go.]

Don't worry! Yotsuba will be fine! But here you!~

[And with that, she would try to spray some water at Zett's face. If she hit him, she would laugh and try to squirt him again before moving on to Enoch.]

I'd say so too, holding onto the edge would be better. If Enoch gets dragged down further he'll sink like a stone.

[Just saying, even if the water wasn't deep enough for Enoch to drown.

Lucifel chuckles when Yotsuba uses the water gun on Zett. But... he should make this a fair game, shouldn't he?

So one flick with his fingers later there was another water gun, this one in Zett's hands.]

*Enoch gives Lucifel a half-amused, half-deadpan sort of look...that is quickly interrupted by Yotsuba spraying him in the face. He gives her a little smile and halfheartedly splashes water her way with his free hand.*

[Zett gets sprayed in the face and splutters, before finding a weapon in his hand. Well, how can he not use this good turn of fortune to his advantage?

Yotsuba's getting sprayed back. Not in the face though, that'd be too mean.]

[And while Yotsuba laughed and did her best to block the water with her free arm, there was no way she could completely block the double attack. However, in retaliation, she tried to shoot them both in the face before targeting Lucifel..and finding that she was out of ammo.]

Oh! I'm out..

[As she refilled her gun, she spoke to Enoch, a little curious about what Luci had said earlier.]

Is Enoch a bad swimmer too?! Yotsuba can teach him! Daddy is really bad at swimming, but I'm super good at it!

[Lucifel was about to respond to Enoch when Yotsuba pointed the gun at him... only to see that she is out of ammo and this couldn't do a thing. He chuckles at that and raises an eyebrow at the scribe.]

What was with that look? I had to save you often from drowning.

And I'm sure Yotsuba can teach him. Enoch is a fast learner.

*Not his fault he never developed sea legs...*

Of course. This water is too shallow for adults to swim in, though.

There's plenty of places to swim in. Some of them are even safe, like the pool, so I'd pick that one.

[While Yotsuba had been poised to try and shoot Lucifel in the face, her mind switched gears when she heard about a pool in the Tower.]

There's a pool, Zett?! Really?! We should all go! It'll be fun to swim around, and I can teach Enoch to swim so that Luci can rest a little! Let's go to the pool! Please?!~

[Don't worry Enoch, he'd be there to save you from drowning.]

Nice suggestion Zett. However...

[He looks at Yotsuba then.]

Does Yotsuba have a swimsuit here?

Those are the clothes in the locker rooms there, aren't they?

*The tower actually provides on that front. But they're probably kind of boring-looking.*

Yeah. There should be a swimsuit in Yotsuba's size, easy.

[Not that Yotsuba would really care whether or not the swimsuits were plain, just as long as they were there.]

There are swimsuits, Luci, so let's go!~ I wanna go to the pool! I wanna teach Enoch to swim! And you and Zett, if you don't know!

Ah, well if that's the case then it should be fine. Is there anything else Yotsuba needs? Or anything Yotsuba knows Enoch will need since he can't swim?

[He'll get anything. That's a promise.]

Er...what does one need to learn how to swim?

*He wasn't aware you needed anything other than water and a teacher...*

"You don't really need much..." Zett considered this. "We could get him a floatie, those are fun. Or one of those pool noodles."

It would be like a real party!

Enoch will need a tube, since he can't swim! And Yotsuba would like one too! And I dunno what a floatie is..but it sounds super fun!~ You and Luci can have them, Zett! But..can we eat noodles in the pool?

[It was usually forbidden to bring foodstuffs into the water, so Yotsuba was puzzled by the name, thinking that Zett meant it was okay to bring noodles into the pool and eat them.]

Agreed. Tubes and floaties for Enoch and Yotsuba.

[It was hard not to laugh at this mental image. Also because she confused pool noodles for something to eat.]

Ah, it's not something to eat, it just resembles a noodle but it's much larger than one and used as support for swimming. Or as toy to play with.

*Things to help one float. That seemed like fun. Enoch found himself smiling a little.*

Should we go to the pool, then...?

*He didn't want Yotsuba playing around too much in this hot water, after all.*

It's more fun than the sauna, I'm ready if you are.

[And, when Enoch and Zett said that they were ready to head on down to the pool, Yotsuba just couldn't contain herself. The ocean was awesome, but the pool was super duper fun too! She understood what pool noddles were now, but..she just didn't have the time to reply to Lucifel! They had to go to the pool!~

Quickly, Yotsuba let go of Enoch's arm and quickly tried to get out of the sauna.]

Alright then!~ Let's go! C'mon! The pools super fun! And you can all learn how to swim!

[Not that the heat wasn't bad, but cold water was pretty fun too. However, if no honorary family member held her back, Yotsuba would feel a little lightheaded when she got fully of of the area. And chilly, but that wasn't quite as strange.]

Huh..? Yotsuba's head feels swirly..

[It would eventually pass, but it did feel strange.]

[Why he had known that this was going to happen?]

Yotsuba shouldn't rush things. We'll get to the pool soon enough.
