Characters: Anyone who's part of a science team!
Setting: Whichever floor your team is working on.
Format: Prose or action, whichever you prefer.

Summary: It's been two months and a half since the researches have started and they should come to an end by next month. At this point the scientists should be realizing they're getting somewhere, they just need more time to figure everything out. Because it'll end soon, this log is so every team can mingle and play out scenes of the research effort-- If that's not already been done!

The teams can all be found here. The list is not up to date, but it's a general idea of what the teams look like. Just, feel free to reply to the thread of the team you belong to! The threads may be backdatted, given the ongoing Sephiroth plot may make some character unavailable. As the team have to move a lot, there is no set floor so pick whichever one you want. If you'd like to participate, you can sign-up here!

Warnings: Absolutely nothing! Well, unless you decide to play out a monster attacking your team. Or if you are part of the Violet and Orange teams, maybe.

[It was a bit odd to Veronica that she was in the morgue, but she didn't have to do any cleaning. Plus, she was already a member of the yellow team. And that was another mess of work that she had to deal with.

But then again, these guys seemed to really need the help. And she wasn't able to refuse.

So she stood there; a bit confused and nervous, trying to come up with a good introduction.]

Uh... hi. I'm Veronica.

[Nailed it.]

Heee~ey. I'm Rei! You're cute.

[She holds out her hand to Veronica, expecting a handshake.]

[She.... she ever so carefully - and slowly - takes the hand in her terribly scarred own.]

Uh... hello there. N-nice t-to meet you.

[Rei giggles.]

I'm glad you're helping out. It's nice to have a lot of people again.

Thanks... l-looked like you needed the help.

...D-did you say I was cute?

Yep. You're very tiny and cute!

[Aaaaaand she turns into a stuttering mess, her face blushing brightly.

She pulls her hat down over her face.]

....T-thank you.

Don't sweat it. So, what are you helping out with?

[She clears her throat.]

Uh, r-right. I thought I'd help w-with bodyguarding, 'cause that's s-something I d-did back home.

I can also work as an assistant.

Nice. You'll have to deal with either of them, though.

[She thumbs back at Gamzee and Jin.]

Are you sure you won't be too busy?

[She glances at the two.]

I... I can handle it. I've worked with worse.

Actually, I-I'm also on t-the y-yellow team.

[She sighs.]

They really do just leave like that, don't they? Not even a warning.

No. Ya just wake up one morning and they're gone. Sometimes, it's you who's gone.

[That's happened half a dozen times to him already.]

If their name's not on the door, that's when ya know they might not come back.

[Richtofen fixes her with a friendly smile.]

Veronica! So nice to see you again. [Speaking like they're actually friends. What a creepy old man.] Which team is it that you normally work for, again?

[Veronica really doesn't know how to react to Richtofen. On the one hand, she could easily tell that he was a scientist of reasonable credit. On the other hand, his mannerisms and accent reminded her too much of the professor's stories from the war.

She returns a tight smile though.]

Uh, t-thank you, Doctor. I n-normally w-work for the yellow team. [She pointed at her collar, yellow fluid clearly running through it since her last checkup.] I'm an assistant scientist.

Sehr gut! [He claps his hands together.] We could use more scientifically-minded people here.

[His tone is pleasant enough, but he casts an accompanying glare in the direction of a select few others - most notably, Jin and Gamzee - across the room. After a second, he looks back to Veronica.]

...I'm eager to hear about the yellow team's findings.

[She followed his gaze to the two and nodded. She understood.]

It's p-probably been k-kind of h-hard working with t-these conditions. I'll t-try to lend a hand.
