Summary: It's been two months and a half since the researches have started and they should come to an end by next month. At this point the scientists should be realizing they're getting somewhere, they just need more time to figure everything out. Because it'll end soon, this log is so every team can mingle and play out scenes of the research effort-- If that's not already been done!

The teams can all be found here. The list is not up to date, but it's a general idea of what the teams look like. Just, feel free to reply to the thread of the team you belong to! The threads may be backdatted, given the ongoing Sephiroth plot may make some character unavailable. As the team have to move a lot, there is no set floor so pick whichever one you want. If you'd like to participate, you can sign-up here!

Warnings: Absolutely nothing! Well, unless you decide to play out a monster attacking your team. Or if you are part of the Violet and Orange teams, maybe.

[Her meeting with Doc Brown at the large information sharing session had been successful. Not only had she found the man, but she'd also convinced him to allow her to help. Not that it had been especially hard to do, seeing that her information from Enoch had been correct about his accepting help.

Following his instructions, Elena finds her way to where the Violet Team were planning to meet. What she doesn't expect is to find bitty!roth. Or to find him running the show.]

...Hello again, Sephiroth. Long time no see. [And she gives him a polite little nod. No need to be disrespectful to the team leader, after all.] I was told by Doc that I could meet the Violet Team here...

That depends on what you mean by developments. There's something that could prove useful later on, once we've finalized research on the fluid. How many of you were at the meeting a few weeks ago?

[After the fight last Friday and Sephiroth's 4-day incarceration in the prison on Floor 43 it's no surprise he's been absent from the experimentation and notes-sharing over these days. When asked about it in the meantime, Sephiroth would be less than forthcoming with satisfactory answers. He was 'otherwise engaged', which could strike a concern for any who would be paranoid bold enough to suspect his loyalties.

There were some that knew what had happened though, and words travel fast within the Alliance.

Sephiroth, over the last few days had gotten lost in his studies even more than he had before. He sits for hours in silence while he's testing, annotating already existing notes over and over again; not even looking up unless directly addressed. It would be up to the movers, the assistants in his team to stir him when it was time to wrap up. Anyone might think, that if it were possible, his drive to unlock the collar fluid has passed into a more urgent obsession than it had been before.]

[ Did someone say "paranoid"? Although, this was probably not Ganondorf's case. At least, not in this situation. Between what he had heard on the network and Nesir's words, he had a pretty good idea of what it is that may have happened.

But this wasn't the full story still, was it? Ganondorf wasn't one to meddle into other people's business. But Sephiroth was an ally and a part of their alliance. Some things needed to be discussed and some behavior from the fools around just couldn't be tolerated.

Hence why Ganondorf decided to wait until the little Sephiroth, Riku and Lancelot had left to approach Sephiroth. Needless to say, such matters concerned all those who considered themselves part of this alliance, so he may have told some of the others to come. ]

Sephiroth? I believe we need to talk.

Indigo Fluid Team

[ Urotsuki's not too big on the research side of this all. It'll be a surprise if she actually knows half of the things that are going on. But since she has a duty as a bodyguard and all and she does know she's doing something important, she's right there at the meeting.

Except she's just sitting in a corner playing with her chainsaw. At this rate it looks like she might just accidentally hack one of her limbs off if you think she doesn't know what she's doing. ]

*Enoch is currently copying all the notes to bring to the other teams - and if needed, make more legible versions.

Though, every now and then, he'll put down his pen and take a few deep breaths through his nose, his expression one of pain.

Then it's gone, and, after rubbing his head, he goes back to it. The later in the day, the more frequent these pauses. Other than that, he's not doing anything particularly interesting, unless you want to try to talk about the results.*

[Quark double takes when he sees Enoch stopping in his diligent work to hold his head. He was already trying to be helpful where he could, but having joined the team late he was always looking for suggests as to what he could do next. Enoch certainly looks like he could use some help. Note taking must be really taxing when you're doing it for so long!

He comes over, then, looking concerned for the man.]

Shion stood, papers in hand looking more nervous than he would like as he faced his team. "Hello everyone." He smiled, "Sorry for calling you all here." They usually met most days anyways but not altogether, they came and went and were rarely all in one place together.

"But I thought it was a good idea to consolidate our findings and discuss what to do next. Also," he remembered to take a breath, "As you might have noticed we lost a few people in the last months." Hopefully they would find a way to get them back... "But we have a few new people as well, who have agreed to help us." He smiled, "So welcome to them and um, yes if you have any questions..." He trailed off and blushed looking at his notes again.

[Typically Amelia does try to maintain at least a little formality around Actual Royalty, but she's been working with this group for some time now and has gathered there's a time for proper formality and a time for a more casual tone. Watching Zelda slump down in her chair tells her everything she needs to know, and her expression is somewhere between a frown and a wince.

She can only imagine what that team must be getting up to, considering who's on it.]

[Being back in the research library was a good change of scenery to Veronica. Too many times had she seen oceans, or weird dark rooms.

It was odd, being asked to be a scientific assistant. While Veronica usually dealt more with bodyguarding and transporting, she still had to remember that she was the creation of Professor Madaraki, which meant that she had at least some of his knowledge. And for once she was putting that to the test.

She smiled half-heartedly at the group, her cloak was replaced with the now-repaired lab coat of her father, which was a few sizes too big. But, if she rolled up the sleeves, it wasn't as noticeable.]

W-well then. Let's see who's here, alright? Then w-we s-should be able to get down to business.

[Richtofen never really expected all of the people on his team to stay in the Tower for the duration of the research, but the losses in manpower have still been difficult to work around. As such, he's been doing some recruiting of his own. He's asked a few people on board - either ones who seem to have a scientific inclination, or ones who will be useful as bodyguards or movers.

Now, he stands before his team clad in a wrinkled lab coat, worn from two months of use (though most of the red and purple stains have faded away by now). The floor they're on today - the morgue - is where the team started work the first time they got together. How nostalgic.]

All right, mein Freunds. The loss of several members of our team has put a damper on our spirits, I know. But all hope is not lost!

[This is Gilles' first time in any kind of research group. He's not really known for his constructive behavior. Surely, this will help him in his quest to reform. As he was quite interested in alchemy in life, he's very excited about this new endeavor, and he beams, then bows.]

Clear Fluid Team

[To say that Franziska Von Karma’s presence in the tower worried Miles Edgeworth would be an understatement. It was never fun to be the target of her whip but nevertheless, Franziska was the closest thing to a family that Edgeworth had. Not only was she in a dreadful place with monsters after her world had been destroyed but how could Edgeworth protect her? Sure, he could get people like Waver and Diarmuid to keep an eye on her but everyone was going to die in a few months.

What would happen if there was no way to save everyone?

Diarmuid said that he would rather believe there was a way than give up. Waver said that it was better to pursue weak leads than do nothing. And it was not as if Edgeworth had exactly given up either, but….

Well, he could not worry about that now. Franziska needed to be kept safe and looked after as much as possible. All the same, despite the fact that she was more interested in winning than looking for the truth in court cases, she was still a very capable prosecutor. Edgeworth was sure that his adoptive sister and fellow prosecutor could help with the collar research. That aside, it would give her something to work on so she wouldn’t get bored or feel helpless.

So here he was, preparing to introduce Franziska to Waver, Rick, Diarmuid, Cu and the rest. Now the next hurdle he had to get through was stopping her from whipping everyone, calling them “foolish fools” and putting them off from letting her join the team.
