Setting: Whichever floor your team is working on.
Format: Prose or action, whichever you prefer.

Summary: It's been two months and a half since the researches have started and they should come to an end by next month. At this point the scientists should be realizing they're getting somewhere, they just need more time to figure everything out. Because it'll end soon, this log is so every team can mingle and play out scenes of the research effort-- If that's not already been done!

The teams can all be found here. The list is not up to date, but it's a general idea of what the teams look like. Just, feel free to reply to the thread of the team you belong to! The threads may be backdatted, given the ongoing Sephiroth plot may make some character unavailable. As the team have to move a lot, there is no set floor so pick whichever one you want. If you'd like to participate, you can sign-up here!

Warnings: Absolutely nothing! Well, unless you decide to play out a monster attacking your team. Or if you are part of the Violet and Orange teams, maybe.

[Hey, Team Sanity, your princess-assistant has returned from another harrowing adventure of getting the other teams to part with their findings. Looking more tired and exasperated than usual, she sets a few sheets of paper next to Doc--]

The Violet Team's report.

[--before making her way to her usual seat and plopping down with a bit less grace than is fitting for one of her station, massaging her temple.

Goddesses, she will be thankful when she doesn't have to do this anymore.]

[Typically Amelia does try to maintain at least a little formality around Actual Royalty, but she's been working with this group for some time now and has gathered there's a time for proper formality and a time for a more casual tone. Watching Zelda slump down in her chair tells her everything she needs to know, and her expression is somewhere between a frown and a wince.

She can only imagine what that team must be getting up to, considering who's on it.]

That bad, huh.

[ Doc nodded when Zelda set the sheets next to him and took them excitedly, quickly looking through them. Things were getting clearer and clearer at this point, one more month at most and they should be done. ]

Ah, excellent thanks!

[ He didn't notice Zelda's exasperation at first, but Amelia's remark made him look up from the papers and look at Zelda. ... ... ... It couldn't be that bad, right? Right? ]

Did something go wrong?

[ Sorry, but Doc is under the impression that only perfectly fine human beings make up the violet team. ]

[She sighs, forcing herself to sit upright a little more, though she's still supporting herself with her arms resting upon her work table.]

The Violet Team is... stubborn with sharing their findings. And it likely does not help matters that I am not thought of particularly fondly by some of its more... influential members.

[Arturia can definitely feel how hard she's trying. She's been in that position so many times in the past.]

[ Hidetoshi, returning from a bathroom break, shutting the door of the workshop behind him, just in time to catch Amelia's "that bad, huh," after Zelda sits down hard in the chair.

Ah.

The other teams were... Rumbustious, if he was putting it kindly. He walks over and sits down on his own chair to join in and listen, not interrupting with his own input for now. ]

... given some of the people on it, I suppose I shouldn't be very surprised.

[Now she's not naming names? But she knows at least one person on that team did try to take over the Tower once before and they all had so much fun trying to put a stop to that.]

[ Needless to say, Doc is pretty confused by all these reactions. Yet everyone seems to think otherwise, so obviously he must be missing something big. ]

Is there anything I should know about the people on this team? They all looked like fine people to me!

[ Really. Especially Sephiroth. ]

[Zelda shakes her head at Arturia's insistence - she probably shouldn't bring her personal feelings into a project like this as long as things are going relatively smoothly. But she can't help a slight sigh of exasperation at Doc's question.]

My history with one of the men charged with protecting the team is not the most pleasant.

[Said with a hint of curtness, implying she's not quite ready to divulge more about her past just yet.]

All the more reason to work quickly, that is all.
