Summary: The tower has been reduced to one room, and it's chock full of monsters. Who you gonna call?

[Well, ladies and gentlemen, shit dun hit the fan.]

[The tower has been condensed to one room with pretty much nothing in it. This post? Do whatever in it. General reactions. Go. ...As for Ienzo, he's just kind of sitting in the corner, head in his hands.]

[It's even sadder than it would be for most humans considering the people she hangs out with are pretty much all champion monster killers. ~~Way to failure, Naminé.~~ --Oh. Oh, okay, the bear is... giving her advice again.]

[Welp.]

[It hasn't lead her wrong yet, so she turns to go the way it told her to, and--]

[Oh, hello there, very familiar troll. She'll just be making her way over to him, then.]

[Oh good, she's smart at least. lskjdf he wasn't really sure how else he could have communicated that without just... picking her up by the collar and dragging her over. And that would've probably been... terrifying AHAHA]

[But okay, so it trails after her, still fighting occasionally, as she makes her way over, just outside where it'd affect her powers and doesn't leave her be until it gets a few yards away from the Summoner. And then it stops, and the troll lifts his head a little. Looking through two sets of eyes at the same time is SUPER WEIRD but it's the only way he can identify her and... oh...]

Namine...? [Slow... blink... WHY DOESN'T SHE... SMELL LIKE THAT OTHER HUMANS... OH LAWD]

[Why, indeed? She's too busy catching her breath and keeping an eye on the bear to notice the Summoner's looking at her right away, but the sound of her name makes her turn. That look would probably make her more concerned if she hadn't just arrived alongside an apparently very intelligent bear.]

--Hello. [She blinks, too, not immediately certain how to explain herself.] I--... um, the bear.... [She just... gestures vaguely at it.]

[...WOW THAT WASN'T THE ICON I PICKED BUT OKAY. So the bear's gonna go retreat and do its thing once... the Summoner gets over his surprise enough to send it off]

Oh uh, yes. It's. I'm... [lksjdf little gesture at his head] Controlling it, I guess. You. Looked like, you don't know how to fight...?

[She nods slowly, realization spreading across her face. That makes sense enough, or at least more than that one of the monsters so dead set on eviscerating everyone decided it would be fun to start helping people instead. It's a rather strange power to have, but she hasn't really got any room to talk.]

Oh. Thank you, then. [There's a tiny pause between that and,] ... No. I've never really-- done this kind of thing before. [Her previous violent encounters were one-sided.]

[What hey now it's an awesome power to have okay okay. Bobs his head to the thank you]

If you, need a place to, rest. Or wait, all of this out. I have been able, to keep them away from this, spot, for awhile now.

[She glances back out at the fray. Her legs and lungs are burning and her knees are weak, and although there are people she'd like to find and help she'd like to give, she's not sure how much longer she'd last without a break. After a moment, she turns back to him and nods.]

I'll... keep you company, if that's okay.

Of course. [8> Gestures the the ground next to him]

Perhaps, you could even, help me a uh... little. If you see, anything getting close. That uh... stopping thing, that you were doing...? Would really be, good, I think... [Sorry his speech is more halting then usual. He's got a lot of things to concentrate on lskjdf]

[A little bit of a smile works its way onto her face and she steps over to sit down. It ends up more of a controlled collapse than a sit, but she hasn't really got the energy to care. It's her turn to say,]

Of course. [She was going to do that anyway, don't worry!] I won't let them get too close. [She can't, anyway, not if she wants to be able to do anything to help. That unusual amount of halting in his speech is kind of concerning, and she pauses to eye him carefully, wondering if he's injured or just exhausted.] Are you...?

[Goodness, kid. He's a little worried she let herself get that exhausted, but at least she's... safe-ish now. Casts her a short, half-focused sort of glance. Curious!]

Hmm...?

[She didn't have much of a choice. It's not that hard to, anyway, since she is a complete and utter twig with no endurance. She hesitates, since he doesn't look injured. One head tilt later,]

Are you okay?

[Heh... Confused for a second. He knows he's not really injured at all, so the question is sort of odd... Until he realizes she's probably talking about... Okay]

Uh, yeah. I'm fine. It's. Harder to concentrate... when I'm doing, this. Sometimes.

--Oh! [That makes sense. Her own abilities have always come naturally to her, but she knows a thing or two about being distracted.]

Right, sorry. [She laces her fingers together. Whoops, probably should have guessed that on her own.]

[lksjdf oh no she's too cute]

It's, alright. I'm uh... not used to it, being this hard. Actually. [Faint, dry laugh. Fucking tower, messing with him @_@]

[She blinks up at him, starting to frown a little. Stupid tower, indeed.]

Why? Is there something wrong with the monsters? [--Well, she already knows that one; those Heartless and Nobodies out there aren't exactly the same as the ones she's used to.] Or-- is it the tower itself?

[Shrugs kinda stiffly, and then... goes away for a few seconds. lkjsdfkj he is having particular trouble with one of these monsters, and it takes all his focus for a little bit]

[But eventually, he returns to himself enough to... finish answering ahaha]

I'm uh... not sure...? Maybe, both. Maybe this is uh... another, experiment... [The idea that they're messing with his powers while he sleeps or whatever is pretty disconcerting though. Frowns slightly...]

[Goodness, she wishes there was some way she could help. Her hand drifts up to her collar. The possibility of things happening when she wasn't paying attention is something that's occurred to her, too.]

... Maybe. It does seem like something they'd do.

[...he's actually pretty worried what might happen if they really do take his powers away. What is he if he's not the Summoner... Hmm]

[Watches her touch her collar and recalls... the odd smell to her... Oh dear, what if...]

Perhaps uhm... you might, want to look into it...? You uh... [LKJSDF IT'S KIND OF AWKWARD TO BRING UP THE WAY SOMEONE SMELLS AHAHA] When I was, with that beast, that brought you over...? There was... something strange. In your scent.

[Her fingers tighten just a little on the collar when he suggests she look into it. For a second-- no, of course not. He doesn't know anything about her powers. ~~She's already tried working something out from the NPCs, anyway, without any luck.~~ As he continues, though, she finds she doesn't actually relax any more. She's not sure where he's going with it at first, but she already feels wary, even before he mentions something being strange. Her hand lowers slowly.]

Strange... how? [She gets the feeling she already knows, but there's no room for assumptions.]

Umm... [Frowns thoughtfully, tapping a finger against his temple. Well he can describe it in pictures and instinct, but that doesn't do him a whole lot of good unless he miraculously finds a way to reach into her head. hhhhhh alright, words. Somehow... lksjdf]

I guess... sort of. Wrong...? Like there was, something... missing, maybe. It's uh... hard to, put this kind of thing into words. [Awkward laugh ljsdf]

[She doesn't laugh.]

[The frown that settled on her face when he frowned stays in place, and her eyes drift away, aimless at first and then focused toward the hordes of monsters and people.]

Oh.

[She doesn't sound surprised.]

[...Namine. Oh no lksdjflkjsdflkj Almost loses one of the monsters when he sits up, focusing on her too much too fast. Worry obvious in his voice]

Is it... Uh. Are you... okay...?

[The worry in his voice makes her look back at him, feeling a rush of guilt.]

I-- I'm okay. [Her eyes don't stay on his long, though.] You don't have to worry. The tower-- didn't do that to me.

[...confused stare]

Uh...? [Well what does that... mean then...] Are you, sure...?

[An at first hesitant but firm nod. Looks like she's sure.]
